    Oysters Rockefeller
    M J.

This was our first visit here. the bread we got was very very good. The sangria is delicious. Ask for it sweet with light ice. the oysters Rockefeller was very small and was OK, but I couldn't taste the oyster in it. Just breadcrumbs. The stuffed shrimp dinner was so delicious!!! . I would completely get it again!! The lobster fra diabolical was so so good!! this place is the only location that I've ever seen that can make pasta noodles, correct. The crème brûlée was delicious!! Our server Lou was wonderful. He made us feel welcomed and was very knowledgeable!! I highly highly recommend this place and we will be back multiple times. They are open for lunch on the weekends and we will definitely come back and try that as well!! Also it's very cute inside.

I went to this restaurant with a larger group. They accommodated our reservation with no problem and had everything set when we arrived. The drinks were very good & the menu had a variety of options of meat and seafoods (obviously) but also included salads and such if you are a vegetarian. The service was a great and the backwaitors were always making sure our waters were full and our used dishes were quickly taken away. Our server was fantastic and even offered to split up our bill at the end by couples. I would definitely come back here!

Vibes: modern steakhouse on the casual side; indoor high top and outdoor seating; bring a date or the family Tasting notes: - Oysters: the raw was sweet, creamy, very fresh; the roasted was very savory, a little on the bready side; had a lovely jalapeño pesto that I also saved to dip the crusty, buttery starter bread with - Soft shell piccata: lemony and buttery; two sizeable, fresh crabs with sweet meat - Broccolini: great char though still tender and snappy - Tiramisu: generous portion that can be shared; excellent ratio of cake to cream Other thoughts: - Also got to sample the scallop risotto, with notably large, well-caramelized scallops as well as the very tender prime rib - Moderately busy on a summer Saturday night - Our server Gabriel was very attentive, my wine glass was always full! Impression: wonderful experience, would come back to try the rest of the menu, but will for sure be hard pressed not to get the tiramisu again!

Went on Valentine's Day, early dinner so it wasn't packed. Our experience was disappointing due to the lack of quality of food and the lack of attentiveness. Decor and lighting is as basic as it gets. Not sure if this supposed to be upscale type of restaurant. But most of the ones downtown don't come out with paper menus and no drink menus. Service was slow from the start. Waited 20minutes for just two drinks. Then the food took about 30-45minutes. Each table near us was also waiting around to be served. Server never apologized for any wait. They have two managers standing at the front with the hostess when they should be helping out. For appetizers, we ordered raw oysters which were good and grilled calamari, those were tough. The whitefish was the best dish we ordered. The side of mac and cheese with lobster is one of the most basic Kraft type of cheese tastes I've ever had. Had the kids share the orcchiette sausage which was good. Grigliato misto unfortunately was cold and the calamari was tough. Seemed like that dish was sitting out too long. For the price and supposed upscale vibe, you'd expect better execution, especially with basics like mac and cheese and properly cooked seafood. I would not spend my money here again.

Came here for my birthday dinner with a friend we sat outside it it was great weather for a Sunday wait staff was really friendly. The food was very good and the table next to us had a great couple we were talking to each other very friendly people. This is a nice place to take a date or even if you want to bring your family steak, seafood, and pasta what more could you ask for? So if you're ever in the downtown Elmhurst area on York Road this is definitely a hotspot highly recommended.

The whole experience was a Five from the moment I made the reservation to the moment we left after 9:00pm. My party of 8, then 10, final count 13 was not the easiest to please. Michelle Anne was extremely helpful as while I changed reservations several times. Lots of patience. Our server was knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was very good. I shared raw oysters (East and west coast) with my son and the Chilean Sea Bass with my husband. Loved oysters with a good martini and the main course was delicious served with excellent orzo side Everyone was very pleased their selections and we had a great time celebrating my son's birthday. To top it all the restaurant treated the Birthday boy with a delicious serving of cake

I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. Small but expansive with the extra room next door. Love that I can get a quality seafood dinner in downtown Elmhurst. Friendly folks, good service. My gurl noticed all male servers. They were spot on with attention and handling all the "small things" that made us feel valued. My gurl ordered the lamb and I ordered the Seabass.....lamb was nicely charred ...... interesting pairing with fries.....but fries were fried perfectly.... Can you mess up fries YEP!!! lol The Chilean Seabass was wonderfully done. Moist, nice portion on top of broccoli....worth every penny to me.

We went there for a graduation party. We had apps grilled octopus, fried calamari raw oysters and oyster Rockefeller. I had the pork chop. Here is a picture of the sea bass. The manhattan drink I hear was fantastic. All the food was top notch. The service was exceptional.

Absolutely delicious food. A must try place for seafood everything was made perfect and tasted so fresh. Lots of good options for steak and chicken as well on the menu! The place was bustling on a Friday night so make sure you have a resy. The inside was split into two sections, on the left where we sat it was more of a quiet, dim, romantic sit down atmosphere and on the right busy, illuminated and lively. We had oysters as an app and Chilean sea bass for dinner while splitting the jalapeño hash browns on the side and I will say I was absolutely stuffed. The restaurant is located off charming York road. 4 stars because we did think the service could have been a little more efficient.

I started with the Solstice Spritz -- he mentioned it was on the sweeter side, and it honestly had the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. Not overly sugary, just really well done. For an appetizer, we got the best (in my opinion), the wild mushroom toast. This location uses softer bread compared to others, and the appetizer had a slight kick to it that made it even better. Definitely a standout dish. I also tried the espresso martini, which was made with Baileys. It was strong but good -- smooth with that rich espresso flavor coming through. For my entrée, I had the butternut squash risotto. It was okay, but I felt like it could've used a bit more sauce or an extra layer of flavor. I ended up adding more parmesan, which helped elevate it a little. The inside of this location is really nice -- different from the other locations I've been to, but in a good way. The ambiance definitely added to the experience.
