Went for a lunch with friends, a group of 24. Called them up and they arranged table for us all separate from main area. Food was tasty and there is quality. Some of my friends are vegetarians they liked the food too. Non veg was spicy and tasty. All of us liked every dish we ordered. Kids loved their mango lassi. Malai kofta was Tasty and creamy. Butter chicken was delicious. Only suggestion would be the biryani was tasty but pieces could have been more tender. Manger and staff were friendly. Will visit and have some food again.

I really enjoyed Persis. Service was friendly and food was delicious. For lunch, there are no lunch specials. Prices are a bit high for lunch. Also, if you're in a rush this is not a great stop for a quick lunch. Food took a while to come out but it was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is very spacious and modern. There is plenty of parking in the lot too. Will definitely be back on one of their buffet days to check it out.

Upping my rating to 5 stars as the food here is high quality, and was well-liked by all members of my dining party. Music has changed for the better & service provided by Sameer was excellent. The prices of appetizers, desserts, & certain other menu items seem on the high side, but I stuck with main dishes on my most recent visit, which were flavorful & tasty. The Yelp check in bonus is honored without any fuss.

Good food! Goat biryani was flavourful and had nice, well cooked rice. (Not always the case). We'd asked for a well done roasted chicken and it was well worth it. There is ample seating during lunch to call a big group without making reservations,it's well spaced out (almost too much). Come for a nice meal, you won't be disappointed

Forewarning: I am extremely particular with Indian cuisine. The food yields 3 stars. It was reasonable, but unfortunately nothing that knocked my socks off! I found that the complimentary farfars were exceedingly oily; it came with a mango chutney that was also subpar. The Gobi 65 was fine, slightly on the soggy side - food coloring made it look better than it tasted. For entree, the Kadai Paneer was also just okay. The paneer was too soft for my liking, but they definitely did not cheap out on the quantity. My fiance and his fam had the Butter Chicken, but they thought the chicken was overcooked. The naan was the saving grace! Buttery and fluffy - just the way naan should be... delicious! What brings my rating down to 2 stars is how pushy our waiter (whom I'm assuming is one of the managers) was when choosing what to order. He insisted we'd like certain dishes and kept insisting we order them. We caved and ended up ordering the biryani. Then, we told him there was a birthday in the family and he kept persisting we order the halwa. Despite me saying I don't like halwa, he was pushy about it. We said we'd let the birthday boy chose when he returned from the restroom. We ended up ordering the brownie sundae, which came out without a candle... Confused, we questioned it discretely and he brushed it off and brought out another sundae after we were done with the first with a candle. It was $12.99 for this brownie... absurd! Mind you, if we were given the menu like we asked for rather than just verbal options - we would've noticed the pricing and known that that tiny sundae was not worth the same amount as an entree. It also had a distinct Indian taste, and my taste buds were not a fan. I'm very spoiled by amazing Indian food so my standards are pretty high when it comes to this cuisine so take my review with a grain of salt if that's not you!

I rarely go out for Indian food but this is a great place down the road from the house. I like to try something different each time I go...this time it was the tandoori pomfret and buttered chicken with roti and naan! Let me just tell you...not disappointed! As you can see...the fish bones are left! Next time, I will try it with more spice. The last time I came here, I had the sizzler and chicken biryani! Both we exceptional! And they have thumbs up soda as well.

Wonderful restaurant, plenty of space inside to spread out. Great curry dishes and the best naan I've had....very friendly staff as well.

We discovered Mrs Kumar before it expanded and love the food. We visited Thumkaa which had its own vibes and while driving along 33E we kept passing Chozhas and decided we would visit on Valentine's day for Dinner. Clearly this restaurant does a booming business with its buffet and no difference on Valentines where an a la Carte menu was offered but there was such a crowd earlier that food and staff were exhausted. Fortunately we had Deepthi who despite being on her feet for hours made sure we were aware that the palak chat which was supposed to be out came back on the menu . Also giving us great advice on the quantity of food to order. She was excellent. Now to the food which was "good"...but not anything special. The appetizes Palak Chat and Lasuni Jhinga Shrimp were better than the main course of dal fry, goat rogan ghosh (nice having bones but not much meat). Rice came with garlic naan and the rice keer was served too hot as they ran out for lunch and had to make fresh. Now the decorations were really nicely laid out for Valentines and made it feel special. As we were leaving it was crowded. Clearly this place has a following and we were told the weekend buffet is what everyone comes for. We will try the buffet one weekend to see how the food is and hope that it really is exceptional and better than the a la carte. Again staff were great given how hard they were working and kudos to Deepthi.

This one has an edge with its Palak Chat which is outstanding and it used to be goat curry but no longer as Thumkaa has a great goat curry. And of course a full Bar. So when we want Palak Chat only we visit. Thumkaa however has better service. Their employees have a superb benefit living package and stay longer. Mrs. Kumar used to have great service but many of its staff have left. So you have 3-4 I assume management standing around and even with a bar when you order anything it takes 5+ minutes and re-ordering to be served. Thumkaa management makes a point to come around, especially Sunil. We have met Mrs. Kumar a few times but there is no recognition to guests that come frequently as with Sunil at Thumkaa. Chefs are both good but Ifran at Thumkaa visits with folks. The kheer which was great has changed into something terrible. No rice . No live music and buffet (fine dining). A in food and B in service. B+ atmosphere.

We thought that this was very flavorful. Mrs. Kumar's assorted bread basket- this was delicious. Hubs loved the variety. Chicken 65 Biryani (boneless)- I loved the egg that came with it. It's definitely one of the better one that we've had. The biryani didn't taste like it was premade. Everything was melded together really nice. Goan fish curry- we ordered this medium. We were expecting the to be a little bit spicier. The medium sauce was just right and delicious. Fish pakora- this was pretty good as well, but our least favorite. It looked more like fish nuggets. There's a fee of 2.99% if you used credit card. We wished the menu was more descriptive. We had to google it. The place is very allergy friendly. Our server wrote on our order to not put peanuts in anything. Service was friendly and quick. Will return when in the area to try other items on the menu!

The chaos, however, was entirely self-inflicted: eight opinionated adults staring at a menu where everything looked good is a recipe for collective disaster. Our server, bless him, stepped in like a professional mediator and steered us toward some solid choices. The food arrived hot and largely delivered on its promise. Largely. The Poori Aloo, while perfectly edible, lacked a certain - as our Punjabi taste buds put it, rather bluntly: the oomph. The Amritsari Kulcha, meanwhile, seems to have had a bit of an identity crisis - it showed up tasting like an Aloo Parantha. For anyone who's had the real deal in Amritsar, this one may prompt a moment of reflection. Everything else, however, was genuinely enjoyable and the menu is a vegetarian's dream come true.
