Awesome food. good service. great atmosphere. My wife and I love eating here. They have a great menue and everything I've had here is very delicious. This place is so good that at noon on the week days you probably won't find a parking spot. I just wish they had better parking. I tried to buy 2 dozen cupcakes for an office celebration and they would only sell me 12, explaining that "we only made 24 today and we need some for the walk-in customers". From a little hole-in-the-wall by Jiffy Lube to a location with more failed restaurants than I can count, PersNIKKity's is doing great in their upper Deuce location! While the parking lot is no where NEAR big enough, it seems to hold just enough cars for the number of people the restaurant can hold. I always love looking for new things to try on their menu (though I do have a favorite or two!) and am always tickled at the creativity with which they prepare and serve their food. French fries in a coffee mug? Who'd of thunk it! lol Servers are sometimes stressed to the max and fall a tiny bit short of being perfectly friendly, though most of the time they get it right. Food is fantastic, and baked goods the best I've had on the Mountain. The secret is to get in before 11:00 a.m. and you'll get the best of it all! read more

I never know what to expect when I go here. As others have mentioned, you have to order at the counter and then your food is brought to your table. When it's busy, you can wait for a LONG time before even getting your order in (this happened the last time, when I was meeting 2 friends who got their food before I even placed my order due to a backup at the counter). The food is fresh and for the most part, good. But sometimes they just fail - the falafel is something I will never order again, nor the turkey burger, which is so bland I don't even think it has salt and pepper on it. However, their salads are usually a good choice for lunch. The last time I came in for lunch I ordered the strawberry walnut salad. When it arrived at my table, it was as if the cook forgot the description posted on the menu board. Not a single strawberry - but TONS of craisins. No bacon, nary a nut in site. I sent it back and received the right salad in return - but it still had TONS of craisins, which I picked out. It's hard to tell what you'll get when you go but this is still one of the best lunch spots in town. read more

After reading all the glowing comments, I decided to retry the place hoping it has improved from my previous visit. I will talk about the positive, the bisquit was one of the best I have had on the mountain and the coffee is strong and flavorful. Now the negative; the menu is difficult for those of us with bifocals and I could not find any hand held menus. Next, the gravy was advertised as sausage gravy and yet I found no sausage, only pepper and overly salted gravy. The lady taking the order seemed angry at the world and quite impatient that we could not follow the menu, and there was no one behind us in line. My wife's omelet was very good and she liked the hash browns. I see no reason to return and really have difficulty figuring out why so many rave about this place. My wife and I have both had bariatric surgeries, which leaves us with very small appetites. We usually order a single entreee and split it when we dine out. We were surpised and disappointed to discover that they had a $1.25 up charge for a split order. We don't think this is warranted. One could argue that it takes extra labor to split one order onto two different plates. If this is the case, why not put the whole order on one plate and give us an extra plate? That being said, the food is very good here, generous portions at a fair price. read more

I like the gluten free options. Food is good but atmosphere is not. No parking, always busy, not a relaxing atmosphere and high priced.

This is a small restaurant in which you order and pay at the register and then go sit down. They do have a kids menu with plenty of options. I need to eat gluten free and they were able to accommodate me. The cashier didn't know what was gluten free or not so she had to go and ask the chef but they were very nice about it and I didn't have any issues with my meal. Everything was very tasty. read more

Usually only go here during the summer but we were up for skiing and we were pleased as usual. My wife had lunch, the cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich on rye with yummy apple slaw. I had the corned beef hash with eggs and toast which hit the spot. Their coffee is excellent. We'll be back in the spring! read more

Great food but small portions. I swear ever time I've went in this place they count the fries that they put into a coffee cup. That's right a coffee cup......Maybe 15 fries fit in the dang thing. Service is kidda slow. They don't check on you after you received your food. If you have a problem you have to wave someone down to get their attention. Don't like the fact that you have stand and look up at a big board to find their food selections. Very small crowded area where you order and pay. Just not welcoming when you walk in. read more

Came here for an early Mother's Day breakfast and we were very pleased. Food was excellently prepared to our liking and was served very quickly. Coffee is really good and the bakery looks amazing. I'm coming back on another day to have dessert! Note that you place your order when you come in the door and then you choose where you sit in the very cute dining area. Stopped in for breakfast. Friendly, patient staff, and a Locals' Place (cheerily greeted frequent diner, Bob, by name and knew what he was going to order). My kids were not disappointed with the huge cinnamon rolls, with or without walnuts, and truth be told, neither was I! Husband happy with the coffee; this is his measure of a good breakfast. Excellent sandwiches. Salads are especially good and they don't use iceberg lettece. Prices, quality of food and service are all excellent. The only negative is the choices of salad dressings. I wish they offered more. Will return. read more

Great food, average service, and immature decor. The bright colors and the empty picture frames all over the walls gives off a cheap and pre-adolescent girly vibe: basically, I feel like I'm too old to be dining here (and I'm still in my 30's.) This is definitely not the best atmosphere for single (hetero) males. Tipping is also confusing since it's a semi-self-serve joint; the staff runs your food, but you seat yourself and get your own drinks. Besides, the staff seemed a bit apathetic anyway. Overall the food is excellent, just wish the decor fit the relaxed white mountain area. read more

This is one great little resturant. Breakfast and lunch was one of the best places in town. If there is any draw back, it's trying to find a place to park! This place is so popular that it is hard to get in! However, it is well worth it! An added plus is there staff - they were fantastic. You won't be disappointed! P.S. save room for dessert! read more

I have to ask myself why I keep ordering from this place. Soup offering was Chicken Noodle and I cannot begin to describe what was delivered with pre-cut/packaged chicken pieces and a ton of assorted vegetables and twisted macaroni for noodles. REALLY!!!! Where did they learn to make Chicken NOODLE soup???! Plus, the bread sticks I ordered to go with---- stone cold and three of them were double cooked or cooked too long. I waited six months to order from them because the last time I got ill on the food. read more

I used to like this cafe but I really don't feel like I'm comfortable in there anymore. when it was the old deli up on White Mountain it was awesome! everybody was very personable and the desserts rocked. The owner would come out and talk to people and find out how everything was and if it wasn't right she would fix it. Now that she's growing to two places she's not as personable with people. She hires a lot of young people who are flighty and really really can't get the order straight without having to fix it a second time. so has been my experience.... the food is good and sometimes just ok. A lot of people that I've talked to, have mentioned just about the same thing to me... about the 1st place it....the new place.... was great when it first opened and they were happy when they got a bigger place but the service has literally dropped drastically in quality. After a long-drive in from CA, I was looking for a good local cafe with fresh, healthy fare and a little charm -all of which I found here! In the last three days I've ordered both breakfast and lunch take-out for my family, and then we went back a dined-in today for another lunch-time meal. On day 1, I ordered a really nice Cobb salad with a zingy jalapeño ranch dressing & was delighted to see that it included a super yummy piece of a mozzarella-filled bread. On Day 2 we ordered meals to go again; I had the Tackle Box combo for breakfast that was a modest sized portion, tasted delicious and was a good value. Everyone in my family liked their meals enough the last two days that we took the rest of our fam that arrived today there for lunch, too. We had a nice mix of soup, salad, burgers and cupcakes. When/if we pass through Show Low again I'm sure we'll revisit this popular and charming cafe. read more

There are few to none good fresh salads and sandwich places in Show Low. I was so surprised to find them here. They did once serve healthier, turkey, reduced sodium bacon and sausage for breakfast, and a basic breakfast all day. I miss these healthier choices, and can see they have gone for hearty food, fish fry, heavy sweets. On one recent visit my guest had a most unpleasant experience with completely black coated avocado slices on a deli sandwich. Counter service has been short-tempered and unfriendly. It is still the only place to get a healthy fresh lunch in Show Low. Coffee drinks are good. Persnikkittys is not the outstanding place it one was, but I still enjoy the salads. Hours, once a real help in that they regularly stayed open until 5 pm have been reduced. Double check the hours before you go. Food quality control is inconsistent (black avocado) so check your order, especially take-out. If you find yourself hungry in Show Low Persnikkittys is definitely worth a visit. read more
