We have been regulars here for years, even back when it was called Aguaymanto. So good, great flavor and good portions.

First-time visit with a group of 6 friends, I had the Chicken Milanese, which was very good, but nothing spectacular. The table had a variety of dishes from the lomo saltado entree and burrito, to the 1/2 chicken w/veggies and beans, the 703Trio was a ceviche dish that looked very good. My only reservation was the fact they serve tilapia in their fish ceviche, that's a non-starter for me. I will probably visit again, but I won't rush back. Came here April 11th, 2021 - Walked in to a full house. It was Sunday afternoon. Waiting about 10minutes to be seated. (Note we were just standing and no server would come up to us, they would just stare) Finally a server comes up and says with a straight face .. it's going to be 40-1hr wait for food service. We said fine because the food here is great. So we get seated down. Outside Waiter came up & took our order Brought our drinks, and failed failed failed to come ask if we wanted refills Said he would bring out the little corn they give and did nothing. Service here was literal horrible. Server constantly came out to serve a table next to us, but not us.. maybe it's cause we aren't Peruvian haha. But if that is the fact that's wrong. A family came to sit aft us and we're served first. An hour has passed, tables inside empty and service still horrible. I hope this is fixed for future customers. Our food was great, no doubt But service again was hard. We asked for napkins,, never got them we had to split one we got at the beginning when served our drinks. It's really unorganized how people can just go up to the front table and ask for stuff and instead of asking their server. Awful food and very POOR customer service. We ordered chaufa mixto and the only vegetable in there was green onion ( no green peas, no snow peas, no bean sprouts, no carrots). That's it! Looked like they were out of them and also it was totally tasteless . The ceviche was very salty, the arroz con mariscos wasn't fresh, the white rice for the lomo saltado was uncooked ,.... very bad decision coming to this place for our Sunday lunch. So today my co-workers and I decided to give this place a second chance. Over a week ago, we attempted to have lunch there. After waiting for about 5 minutes, we were finally seated. The waiter came over after another 5 minutes or so to asks us what we wanted to drink. Another 5 minutes or so he came back with those and took our orders as we were ready. All of us wanted the Rotisserie chicken. Three of us wanted half a chicken with Rice and Beans, the last co-worker wanted 1/4 chicken with Fries and salad. Twenty minutes went by and the waiter came back to let us know that the chicken wasn't ready and that it would be another 15 to 20 minutes before it was ready. The restaurant opens at 11am, and the chicken wasn't ready before they opened? Ok! no big deal right? Fine, I am all about second chances when things like this happen. Who knows, maybe the chicken cooking guy was late, and didn't put in the chicken on time. Well, today we went back. It was after 11:30am and we needed to be back no later than 1:00pm as we had an important meeting. After we entered the establishment we had to wait anywhere between 5 and 7 minutes for someone to at least say something to us. The young lady that sit us down was the same lady that sit us down last time. I asked her in Spanish whether the chicken was ready today. She said yes and we had a bit of a laugh because she obviously remembered us from the last time. We sat down outside, she asks us what we wanted to drink and brought those promptly. We looked through the menu just to see if we wanted to try anything esle, but we were pretty sure all we wanted was the chicken. So when she came back, maybe 5 minutes later we all ordered, which was exactly what we ordered last time. Three of us wanted a half chicken with rice and beans, and one wanted a quarter chicken with fries and a salad. Well, we were talking, playing different games on our phones and we kind of lost track of time. at 12:05pm we were like, where is our food? At this time I am looking through the large restaurants windows, I see other people in there ordering, I see the waitress moving about the restaurant. Our drinks are by now empty or close to that, no food, no interaction. I decided to go inside and ask, by this time is already 12:15pm. As I walk in I see that the other customers have been served and are eating and looking very happy and pleased. None of them were eating chicken that I could see. The waitress looks at me and says, just give me a minute. She goes into the area behind the bar, I can see the chicken rotisserie machine is going and loaded with chickens and she asks the man tending to that machine that how long it would be before the chicken will be done! WHAT? You told me the chicken was ready when I walked in and about half an hour later I discover that you lied to me about the chicken being ready. The guy just said he was not sure how long the chicken was going to take. I asked her how much I owed her for the drinks and after messing with the register for a moment she said it was ok and not to worry about it. She was actually thinking about charging me for a sprite and a coke after making me wait for thirty something minutes...Ha ha ha! Not really funny! I wish I could say that the food is amazing, I have no clue about that. Haven't been able to try it. However, the service is certainly not the best in the world. I guess that if I want to try their food I will have to order something else. Something that doesn't require cooking like Ceviche or something like that. But what about the chicken? Why aren't they coming in at least an hour early and have the chicken ready by 11am? I know that it may be because of the lack of personnel due to the pandemic and all that. Maybe I should try it for dinner, maybe they have more personnel working at that time and the experience may be different. All I know is that we are not going back for lunch for sure. I live next to Peru 703 so decided to check it out. My chicken was so dried that it felt like i was eating cardboard. Maybe they gave me an old piece? The rice was the only part of my meal i liked. As a Peruvian, I attended a show for the Day of the Criolla Music, it's not worth your money. The food didn't taste good, the service was bad. We ordered the typical dishes, Ceviche and Anticuchos. The fish in the ceviche tasted old and fishy and the anticucho meat was not fresh either. But...the bathrooms was clean. They charged $10 in advance to reserve a table and on top charged a mandatory 18% gratuity. Please be careful and don't add additional gratuity if that's not your intention. The musicians were good, but way too loud. The wait staff barely came to wait on you, my Pisco Sour took about 20 minutes more or less to arrive. The Pisco was good. I wasn't even offered water... The service was alright. I come from a Peruvian family and we know nothing will be like the real food from Peru, but this one really takes the cake. It wasn't very authentic and the portions were quite small. I ordered the Aji de Gallina and it cost 15 dollars. It only came with white rice and nothing else. I wouldn't come back, just because I think it is overpriced for the amount they serve. And on top of that, the taste of the food was nothing special. After going to Peru a couple of times and having Peruvian Family members, we pretty much know Peruvian food and how it should taste. When we arrived, it wasn't very busy but soon filled up. We ordered Pisco Sours, Papas Rellenas, and Tiradito. The Pisco Sours weren't bad but definitely needed to be colder. The Papa Rellenas was a nice size and good, as well as the Tiradito. For dinner, we ordered the Lomo Saltado and and Seafood dish (sorry, don't remember the name), anyways, after about 20 minutes and watching the 4 groups of people that came after us, receive their orders, we finally found our waitress and asked what the problem was. She told us there was a problem with the Rice Cooker but we had to ask in order to find that out. I looked at the other people that received their meals and they had rice on their plates. I don't know if she forgot to put our order in or what, but the rice excuse was a lie. My Lomo Saltado was very good as was his dish but the rice was very gummy. I guess the problem was more with the service than the food, even though our waitress was very nice. We did ask to be compensated with a free dessert (Arroz con Lech) that was just ok. We'll give it another try, but LaCanella is still way better. read more

My friend got the Peruvian half rotisserie chicken, which came with 2 sides. She got beans and a small salad. She said hers was delicious also, some of the best she's had. The other day I was coming in to get pollo a la braza, I came in and talked to one of the two waitresses at the counter to get my order and she said okay. I waited 5-10 without a response and seeing the person I asked about my order chit-chatting and completely disregarding the fact that I had asked them about my order. I had to go up to them and ask what happened to my order and very rudely said she didn't know. They were both lost and neither one of them had the delicacy of coming up to me and letting me know what happened to my order. Both waitresses were very rude and impatient. One of the waitresses kept talking about how bad she wanted to go home. As a client hearing this it makes you see the restaurant differently. This reaction was shocking to me because my family and I have enjoyed the food and the service here. But after that day, I'm not sure if I want to go back. I came with my my family, it was 11 of us. We are Peruvian and have gone to many Peruvian restaurants. We drove about an hour away to see what the hype was all about... the service was terrible from the beginning. No water, no glass cups.. they actually gave us red solo cups because we were a large group. Everyone else in the restaurant had regular cups. Not only that but they didn't give us silverware until after all of our dishes were there. Anyways we ordered our food. We got lomo saltado (was dry & the color of the meat was not appetizing), Arroz Chaufa which was only soy sauce & a lot of salt had no real flavor. The beef tallarín saltado which was extremely dry.. like even dry is an understatement. The kids love Arroz chaufa and tallarín saltado anywhere we go but they did not eat at all. The beef seco and frijoles was alright but the meat itself was not fresh (very chewy). We also got the Rachi and when I tell you that was drowned in oil and had NO FLAVOR I am not lying. It's hard to mess this up since it's an appetizer. They forgot to bring us the choclo y queso... so we just canceled the order. Our Aji(hot sauce) placed on the table was going bad. I did get the pollo a la plancha... that was good. It was the only dish that everyone liked. All in all we got about 8 dishes here and all but 1 was a disappointment. SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO ELSEWHERE!
