A maracuya pisco sour?!?! SIGN ME UP!

I tried this place for the first time last week and I've been back already since!!! This spot is 1000% authentic. The staff is so friendly and bilingual for all clientele. The chef knows what they are doing!! I ordered the passion fruit pisco sour, it was perfectly blended with right hit of liquor and tart passion fruit. Delicious drink I could drink over and over again. I ordered the shrimp soup- it was different but yummy and filling. These portions are NOT small!!! The plantains were perfectly ripe and fried. They also provide tostado or little popped and fried corn kernels for a crunchy snack while you wait for your meal. Everyone's order looked amazing, the charcoal chicken looked seasoned perfectly and just the right amount of crispy skin to juicy meat. They have sauce bottles of the white, green, and red sauces to self serve. And these sauces are liquid GOLD. The green sauce has a Smokey flavor to it and the red was so spicy!!! The next time I went- I ordered the plate of fried fish and seafood. I think half the ocean was on that plate. The calamari was so fresh and the fried exterior was light and crunchy! The pickled onion that came with that plate was so delicious and lemony!! The inside of the restaurant is cozy decorated with Peruvian murals and keepsakes. It's very much a hole in the wall and I've driven by many times without really knowing what it was....NEVER AGAIN!! Try this spot out and support, you will not regret it. I'm getting the lomo saltado next :)

The restaurant has a huge menu with lots to choose from. The food we got, sorry I can't remember which dishes, were pretty good. The pasta I had was under seasoned but I threw some salt on there ands it was much better. The beef was delicious. My husband got some sort of rice dish (beef fried rice maybe?) and the rice was totally different than we were expecting but we really liked it, just know it's not like an Italian or Asian rice dish. My son got a chicken (in the photo) and we weren't expecting a half a chicken fried like that. Really the issue was, it came out way after the other dishes and was so hot it was hard to eat since you're tearing apart a chicken that's just been fried. The service was kind of lacking but at least they weren't hovering I guess. We would go back to give some other dishes a try.

If you are looking for Peruvian food this is a good place. The service was fast and friendly. The chicken was a little bit warm, but the server told us that the chicken is better when they open. The fried rice was good. Now the other plate was amazing, you can feed about three people .

This place is a hidden gem! Excellent food and service. Worth every penny. I usually don't have favorites but this place is now my favorite place to go.

Nice hidden peruvian restaurant in Chantilly. It's not super easy to spot. just driving by. The staff are all very friendly. I haven't had their chicken yet but I've had the lomos saltados. Overall pretty good, but I have had better at other places. The rice is nicely flavored and seasoned. the steak is also tender, but has a weird aftertaste in my opinion. I also prefer my lomos saltados to be drenched with sauce and this was lacking. but good quantity and very fulfilling. tomatoes are delicious. comes with the typical yellow and green sauces but sometimes they forget so make sure to ask!

Lomo Saltado A Lo Barrio, Tender steak snuffed with red onions and tomatoes served over French Fries and rice!

The food here was awesome, referred to me by the near by hotel, and I am so glad they did. My meal here smells so good to start out with. Then the taste was even better! The Lomo Saltado a Lo Barrio was super lean beef steak with red onions and tomatoes. I coming back for second! Maybe chicken next time! I wish we had a place like this in Cypress Tx.

Especially at their prices & the hoity toity atmosphere, you'd think they'd also be well-run and reasonably accommodating, eh? Nope. Worth the drive? Not any more. Worth the wait? Definitely not anymore! For as many times as we've frequented Pisco in Reston with a small group, one would think they'd get their seating straightened out. Every time we've attempted to eat here on a reservation, they've had issues. Never set up and ready to seat us. Never prepared upon opening... and it's never busy when they first open which is why we always go early. But, they are NEVER ready to seat us. What's the use of making a reservation a week in advance if you're not going to be ready to seat the party nor accommodate the request? How would you like to find out at the last minute that they're going to split up your party at two different tables on two different sides of the restaurant because they weren't prepared when you gave them a week's notice via reservation? The food isn't that good to have to keep going through the challenge of being seated every time we make a reservation for a group. They're really pricey, too. So, certainly not worth this chronic headache. There are PLENTY of other places in the Town Center or in Herndon/Reston in general where you can get a tasty meal, not drop a day's pay, and have your entire party served well together. The taco joint across the street is definitely a more pleasant experience, for example, and I would certainly recommend bartaco...give them a try instead for a fun environment and some good eats.

I don't even have a huge appetite, and the amount of food I received was still surprisingly small. The service was also disappointing from the moment I arrived. The restaurant was completely empty, yet no one greeted me or acknowledged me when I walked in. I eventually had to walk over to the bar area myself to ask about my pickup order. The woman working there looked confused that I was even asking and mumbled a response I could barely understand. I figured maybe she was busy, so I waited, but the entire experience became increasingly uncomfortable. I stood there awkwardly for about 10 minutes while the employees talked amongst themselves and kept looking over at me, yet no one updated me on my order or even spoke to me. The worst part was the food itself. The potatoes in the Papa a la Huancaína were cold and partially raw. I literally had to finish cooking them in the microwave at work. The empanada was decent, and the alfajor would have gotten better marks if it weren't for the small hair I found on it, but overall the experience was not worth the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn't ever come back. Revash has better portions, better prices, and overall much better food.
