It's a Pakistani restaurant with both "traditional" seating (where you remove your shoes and sit cross legged on the floor) and a separate area with tables and chairs. The food is delicious and they try their best to adjust the spice to your level. The staff are a delight to converse with and hospitable. Minor improvements can be made with their self service area, restroom, and wait time but overall this place is a wonderful small business to support! This is my fiance's and my go to when we need a quick, yummy bite that wont break the bank. We usually get the mixed gyro and its pretty large. The place doesn't really look inspiring from the outlook and could use some basic interior design. The art work is from Pakistan and seems oriented towards truck art ( good effort ) but certainly lacking the tasteful decor. Food is not bad but not quite there yet may be because they are short staffed. We ordered mutton Karahi which was pretty good compared to any normal Pakistani/ Indian restaurant where most of the menu items taste the same thanks to Shan Masala. These guys for sure put an effort by using their own original recipe inspired by peshwari namakeen Karahi from Peshawar. They could certainly use some help with the presentation as the dinner was served in styrofoam plates which is a hallmark of Pakistani restaurants in US ( odd way of cost savings). This place was underwhelming, it's a bit different as we were expecting something closer to Greek-Armenian food but the dishes are more Indian fusion? The Naan was not like traditional thin Indian naan and came out like thick pizza dough (had to throw most of it away), the Beef tikka pieces were tiny and too tough, the gyro was not authentic Greek gyro with shaved pork. The only decent dish that we had was the Koftka. Overall just can't recommend it. read more

I've eaten here 3 times now. The first time I got the 9 kebab family plate. All the meat was cut up but if connected I doubt it was 9 kebabs. My second visit I ordered the 3 kebab plate. It comes with 2 beef kofta and one more of your choice. I picked lamb kebab for the 3rd and that was a big mistake. It was dry and hard to chew. I liked the spicy rice and beef kofta though. 3rd time I got the beef and lamb gyro and the same 3 kebab plate. I chose all kebabs to be beef kofta this time, with spicy rice...but they gave me non spicy rice, argh!!! I had to add sriracha at home and I feel it alters the flavor. The gyro had good portions of meat and was priced well. If you call in, prepare to wait longer than expected. Each time I went there, no one was at the front to greet me or get my order. My order was never ready either despite me showing up as set on their website or later. Anyways, the food is decent except for the lamb. read more

Was looking for a good chicken salad in Waltham (for takeout) and came across this place. We ordered two salads with chicken kabab (chicken was delicious), some beef kofta(first time having kofta, awesome), spicy rice, and falafels. Best Kebabs. Best halal food in all of New England. I've been living here for decades. If you want authentic Pakistani/Afghan food, this is the place for you. Great decor inside, beautiful, fun and energetic. They have traditional floor cushion area for an authentic experience. Great friendly staff, and clean. Amazing quantity for great prices. Came with plenty of naan, salad, and delicious sauces. Even gave us free Kheer (it was so delicious) since we had a big order. I have nothing bad to say, Alhamdulillah. This place WAS fantastic when it opened--but now, it's a sad imitation of great food they used to serve. I get that inflation is going up, so raise your prices then instead of keeping them where they are and cheaping out on low quality ingredients instead. My go-to here has always been the chicken tikka naan, which used to be prepared with delicious, juicy boneless chicken. Now they give you bone-in chicken from all different parts of the bird! Unlike a chicken wing or thigh, you can't tell where the bone is so you've got to pick it apart, and 50%+ of the "meat" you receive is bone... and, like I said, from parts of the chicken that I didn't even know you could eat! I've bitten into so many oddly shaped bones at this point I hardly know if this even came from a chicken, honestly. Spend your money elsewhere, even Chipotle. read more

We were only in the area for a few days and found this to be one of the best restaurants we've tried! Our favorite were the qabuli polau with lamb, lamb chops, and chicken Tikka masala curry. When I had the qabuli polau with lamb it was made so perfectly IMO and I felt it was so good that I started dreaming to have food like that in heaven someday. This place is amazing! Felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in India. It's a really homey environment, especially during Ramadan. My friend and I just ordered one entree each, and settled in in a comfy area. Without asking for it, we were given fruit bowls for iftar and juice. Best South Asian food from a restaurant that our family has enjoyed for some time! Their chicken tikka ranks with the best bistros in NY/NJ area. The goat curry was reminiscent of family meals from our old country. The beef/lamb gyro was unique and went well with the Biryani rice, salad and condiments.
