Full disclosure: I did not receive a hair cut here due to issues described below. I made an appointment through a booking platform used by this barbershop. The Barber, or someone from the shop, confirmed via the platform. When I arrived the barbers were unaware and had someone on the chair and a walk in that they agreed to take ahead of me. This was disappointing as an appointment was my reason for selecting this place. I do not anticipate that I will be patronizing this place. As far as the vibes, the shop is on the smaller side and feels a little dingier than competing barbershop. This barbershop is legit, the real deal. I found a really great barber in Kike, he sets me up with bi-weekly appointments and I get an automated reminder the day before. I would highly recommend the Untouchables Special, I always get this style before any work events or special occasions. Kike hooks it up with the cold towel and hot towel treatment. Sure the special lasts for a little longer than an hour but it keeps me fresh for at least a week, right in time for my following appointment. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself. read more

A quaint barber shop that can be easily missed, it's tucked in the corner of the shopping center a couple doors down from 7-11. The barbers here a highly sought after, so either you have to make an appointment, which costs $20 for a cut, or you can walk-in ($15) but you wait. It is important to know if you walk-in there is a list on the counter you have to write your name on, if not, you will be overlooked. Carlos is the guy that cuts my mans hair and he is great at it! Real down to earth guy! He has great technique. Ask for him! At times this shop can be very busy, so try to swing by on non peak times. This was my second time here and I feel like I've found a great local spot. Had John A. cut my hair the first time and Enrique F. Cut it the second time and both barbers are very skilled. The place is kind of small but has a great vibe to it, parking is very limited on busy days because they share parking with other business and a 7 eleven so you can guess how crowded it can get. The newest barber has a short slick back and is usually in chair three and takes the walk ins. My man has had him the last 3 cuts, going back in hopes that he wouldn't fuck up again. Every single visit, his neck ends up all mad cut with a bunch of missed hairs everywhere. Precisely explaining your desired cut is pointless bc you'll get something different anyway. Great atmosphere, all of the barbers appeared to be great barbers. I waited a little bit cause I didn't have an appointment so I got to see each one of them cut hair. Every barber there was a perfectionist and took their time with every cut/line. It is definitely recommended to make an appointment with anyone. All the barbers are really good so they all have appointments. I got my haircut by Willie he's the first chair when you walk in. He was very polite and a very good barber for someone who just got started. He asked a lot of questions just to make sure I had my hair the way I wanted it. I also want to mention that these guys still cut my hair even though I was there until after the barbershop closed. They have never seen me because I'm not from around here I just chose this barbershop cause it had great reviews. Some places aren't so welcoming to newcomers and usually don't care for newcomers. Every barber at this establishment has cut my hair and they all do a good job and they all differ a bit in their styles in a good way even though I get the same cut every time. Jair and Donevin have cut me the most and they know exactly what I'm looking with the fade and facial. $15 is not cheap but these guys take their time and never rush you, even when I'm like I gotta go, do it quick, they still take their time. I appreciate that, when they have 7 people waiting and others coming and going they still don't rush my cut. If you go to the doctor, you don't want him to rush you, so you wait a little longer and don't mind when he gives you time as well. I have gotten some fades for $7 from 2 other local shops, but they don't come close to these guys. Yes, they have their friends/regulars who they take care of, I notice that.
