Terrible customer service, been coming here for over a year there self service wash station is hit or miss . Today was a big miss nothing but cold water for the whole time. I complained to the girls at the desk that my poor dog still smells and asked for a complete refund; I buy my tokens in advance. There reply was "we don't give refunds but here some spray to make him smell better " Really ? I brought my doggy here after hearing about their self service dog wash. It is so incredibly easy. You pay 18 dollars for a token which you insert into one of their machines. This will give you 25 minutes of run time and as much water, soap and towels as you need during that period. I think 25 minutes was a tad bit too tight, especially since my chow chow has so much fur. But if you have a smaller dog with less fur, 25 minutes is more than enough! Still, the self service was super convenient. Washing your dog at home can get so messy. Fur flying everywhere. Doggo running around. You get the picture. It was so easy here, and they'll even clean up for you after. I'll definitely be back here to wash my chow chow! read more

I came here looking for freeze dried raw food for my 20 year old cat and couldn't find it in the particular section. Riley was stocking food in the dog area and directed me to the cat food area. I walked over and was overwhelmed so I went back to her and once we chatted a little bit about my cat, she graciously walked over to show me what she thinks would work for my cat. We talked about feline kidney health and about our cats as well. She had great suggestions for me. I grabbed 2 bags of the Primal brand and as I was checking out she brought over a package of Just Foods For Cats on the house for Cleo to try for her kidney health. **This is specifically for the mobile VIP pet care** In general, we were going to the mobile VIP pet cares in different locations due to the affordability and all of the services have been great, quick, and easy (although lines were long and can take up to an hour or more). Their services are for both cats and dogs but you'll find that there are more dogs. Despite that, you'll occasionally see a cat or two amongst them -- ours included. We stood in line from 4pm to around 630pm and that's to be expected since theres around 1-2 vets with the rest being vet assistants. We've been to this location for I think 2ish years? So, twice and there weren't any complaints. However, this year we decided to get one of my cats' nails cut. Mind you, there's no closed off room specifically for these services (although some pet food express offer that -- not this one). This was set up in the corner of the store in a small area next to two restrooms and the warehouse with their foldable metal table and little kiosk to pay. *gag* I honestly hate thinking about this. Usually when it's open plan, they would get their shots and whatnot out in the open on the metal table. Ugh, but the vet and assistant took both of my cats who were in different carriers to the back and into one restroom... public restroom......which is open... to the public... the same restroom I went into prior... how do I know this? Because it's literally right there. "We're gonna take them to the restroom" the vet says as she walks away, taking my fur babies with them. My brain processed it so slow because I looked at their distant figures and back to my partner with confused, furrowed eyebrows. "Restroom....?" Honestly, I thought they'd only take one cat who needed her nail cut but they took both of them in there to do the whole shebang (shots on both, nail cut on one). Mind you, there were two adults in there with two large cat carriers. I'd like to say I'm an open and understanding person but.... At that point, we're both bewildered and my partner is trying to reassure me, telling me they probably have a set up in there. Um, sir, no I was in there after flagging down a store employee to unlock it and there's a lone toilet, a sink, and a plastic scale for pets. *eye twitch* yeah, Idk you'd think they would just block off the area with a large crate or fence or *something* when they help cats (or even frightened dogs). This store carries toys, food, hygienic supplies, and training essentials for furry loved ones big or small. Service is usually above average and you can feel the "small store" energy when you walk in. Always better to support the small ran stores than the big Corporate chains. I have purchased my furry baby's collar, harness, and toys here -- have never had any issues with quality. This location is the worst in the area, I frequent this PFE at least one every 4-5 weeks so I can bathe my cattle dog (no complaints regarding the self wash). It's the customer service I receive when I come here to purchase treats/food. Tonight was the most awkward/uncomfortable experience I had. I came in around 7:05-7:10. As I walked in the girl standing at the register looked at me, we made eye contact but she didn't greet me but I noticed her greeting everybody else. I ignored it and went on with my shopping. I get to the register and at this point I think I'm the only person on the store. Some guy rang me up, barely asked me questions except if I needed a bag. I said yes, there was a 2nd girl who handed him the bag and he made a comment of "wow the service here is impeccable". In my head I said "what service?" I actually enjoy coming here as much as my dogs do. I've been placing a monthly reorder for these jumbo twisted chewy sticks for my dogs and sharing them with others. Everytime when my order is ready they will email me, call me, and if I don't pick up they call my two alternative numbers I added. Jordan? Long black beautiful hair- manager? Supervisor? Forgot, but every time I come here she remembers me and is always helping me whenever I need it. She has helped me out to the car a couple of times and even help me play Tetris in my trunk because some days it's full. Friendly, approachable, professional, and a sense of humor. Amanda, Sammy, Josh and Priscilla are wonderful and very knowledgeable of the different types of pet food and toys Pet Food Express offers. Amanda and Sammy have a lot of patience. They have taken the time to walk me through the different types of dog foods (raw and grain free etc.) several times. I am now transitioning my puppy, Logan, from kibble to a raw/kibble diet. Pet Food Express also has an excellent Pet Wash Station and they provide towels, a variety of shampoos and a dryer. Great stop. Had to get my dogs chipped and cleaned. They got out and I was lucky enough to get them back. I ran asap to this location for the Mobil vaccination team and they waited for me as I was 2 minutes till closing up for them. Pet Food Express is AMAZING and I keep coming back simply because of these three reasons. One, they have a Self Pet Wash Station! How awesome is that?? You can wash your pets here and they have all the right equipment for you to use. They offer regular shampoo, flea shampoo, etc. that all smells pretty good. Their pet blow dryer is pretty good too. You won't have to worry about it burning your pet's skin while it blows all the water off. This pet wash station is just so must more convenient than washing your pets at home. At least for me anyways! It's great and it's only 15 dollars for for 25 minutes of wash time; although, if you needed more time, they are happy to give you more time. This way, I can wash both my small little ones and fluff dry them until they are completely dry. Two, they carry Origin Dog food. This is the only dog food I'll allow my dogs to eat right now and surprisingly, not many major pet store carry this food brand. I know for sure that Petco and Petsmart does not. I used to have to go all the way to Japantown, which is a lot further for me and not as convenience so I am glad they have it here. I come here every couple weeks to buy dog food, and really, I only buy dog food here. I don't think I have ever purchased anything else here although they do carry a lot of things here. Three, they always have super friendly and helpful staff! I am always greeted by their staff when I enter and when I leave the store. Yesterday, I had some problems with the Pet Wash station and one of the staff went out of her way to explain to us what could have happened and tried to help us fix it. She even offered to help us move to the next pet wash station. She was just really friendly, nice and helpful and I really appreciated that. Anyways, I definitely recommend this place. They have everything you need except I only need Origin dog food, friendly + helpful staff, and of course!! The Self Pet Wash Station. Along changing my GSD food, I also bought him "just for dog" allergy supplement as well (I think that's the brand), and I feel like his allergic reaction has gotten a lot better. At first, I was skeptical buying the supplement since I wasn't sure if it will work, but one of the staff gave me a sample of it so that I can give my GSD to try. When we walk through the door, we go straight to Sammy for all our questions. She's friendly, knowledgeable and always has the answers to our questions! Not to mention she is an absolute sweetheart. So great! Used the pet wash and boy what a game changer, i have a fulled sized double coat gsd who spends the days outsidegettimg into all kinds of messes and he was well overdue for a bath/brush. I called ahead and they suggested the stevens creek location because it has a much larger wash area. Not only was he too distracted by everything to hassle me when i was washing scrubbing and brushing him (vs at home when I am chasing him around in circles in the backyard!) the water is warm and since the soap is mixed with the water it makes it so much faster! They have everything you need and even if the dryer didnt get him fully dry (his coat is so dense it would take over an hour t fully dry him!) he was easily 80-90% dry!
