The cut was amazing! My dog looked the best ever!! One issue is the next day I had flea bites. My dog is potty trained for inside, and has never had fleas. I got some frontline and put on her and it seemed to do the trick. I know they were flea bites because I have an allergic reaction to them. I'm so glad I found Claudia! Easy to talk to and knowing I'm first time dog owner, she is patient and listens. Very responsive through yelp and txt messages which is a plus, because harder to call these days when you are on the go. I've come in contact with 2 mobile groomers and the first was easy going, but vehicle was dirty and very expensive. 2nd, her mannerisms were very unpleasant, unclear on what she could do and her prices, but her vehicle was clean. Claudia is located farther than I'd like, but I can just schedule on weekends when I visit my parents which works out. I'm nervous leaving my nervous puppy behind, but when I came back, she was a happy girl! She did well and next time we go back, she will get a full hair cut. She was finished in less than 1.5 hrs and I like that Claudia focuses on one dog at a time, or if you have multiple dogs, she can focus on one client at a time persay. Best groomer I ever had! Highly recommend you go here for your dog. Claudia is awesome! I would have stayed with her as my dog's groomer if I hadn't moved away. She's very friendly and you can tell she's passionate about her work. She does an amazing job. She runs her business from home, so don't be alarmed if you end up in a residential area with the GPS navigation. She is very thorough in her service. She turns your dog into a puppy again. My dog is 10+ years old and if you reference my photos, he looks like a cutie pie. She is flexible with her hours and gives you a 10 minute notice before she is done to give you some time to head over. Her price is similar to any grooming shop. I'm not sure what her price is now, but last time I went to her in Summer 2017, she was charging $65 for full grooming service. We started coming to Claudia at Puppy Cutz after my friend recommended her! My friend's dog is a bichon-poodle mix and whenever my friend would bring her dog to other groomers, because his fur is so curly the groomers would usually shave it really short due to the matting that curly-haired dogs can develop over time. Claudia at Puppy Cutz was the first groomer to patiently brush through the matting and preserve his fur without shaving it off completely, and he looked so handsome (and not naked haha)!! After hearing about how much my friend loved the service and results from Claudia, I was convinced. So, I brought my puppy, Penny, here for her first grooming about a year ago -- and we have been coming back here ever since! Claudia is wonderful and really makes sure to get the full idea of what you want for your pup's look, or any special needs your pup might have. She is also incredibly knowledgeable about different breeds and how to deal with different hair types!! I usually get the full package service, which I believe includes: nail clipping, ear cleaning, bath/brushing/de-shedding, haircut, teeth brushing, and I think cleaning of the butt too (contact her to confirm!). The price is super affordable for the amazing job she does every time and for all the services that she provides. Sometimes she will even add a cute bow or scarf after the grooming! She also let me know that if your dog has a special/medicated shampoo, you can bring the shampoo and she will gladly use it, so you can keep that in mind too! Claudia is my 11 yo Yorkie's favorite human. I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but it's true. It's saying a lot because like most dogs, Walle doesn't particularly like to be groomed. I've been taking my Havanese to Claudia for over a year now. I've never once been disappointed in how she looks when she comes back to me. Claudia was great! First off, I had been looking for a groomer for a while but my time is very limited. I reached out to a few groomers via yelp and got a quick response from Claudia. Since she is right in my local area I was hoping she would have an opening... of course she didn't at first, but when I told her to call me in case there are any cancellations - she did just that and I got Kimba in for a cut right away! I could tell that she had done her research on Mini Amer. Eski and knew exactly what to do for Kimba. She also told me what she could do and would do based on what she would find... so I would not be surprised when picking her up. Kimba had never been cut before... just shampooed. It was getting really tough to maintain her thick coat and I had always been afraid of bringing her anywhere because they always would mention having to shave her down and we didn't want that. She assured me she would do everything she could before having to do that, even if it would take 2 hours! I was so pleased to see Kimba so bright and white! And NOT shaved down! First, she provided pictures and gave me her honest opinion of how the cut I wanted will most likely turn out on Lana. Second, she explained to me what she was going to do. - I will start by not giving any star to Claudia.... On Feb 2nd took my Cocker Spaniel to her for grooming as to which we had been going to her for almost 1yr. When I picked Bella up she was very whinny & we noticed uncomfortable. As my daughter was petting her under her ears on her neck Bella yelped- my daughter checked & found deep gashes on both sides if her neck "where her ears cover". I tried calling Claudia there was no answer so I texted her a picture. The following day I took Bella to see the vet because she has IMT "I explained Bella's medical issue way..... before scheduling our 1st appt with Claudia". The vet was very disturb on how Bella's neck looked that he actually thought she was attacked by another dog. Suggestion at that time from vet was to take Bella's labs to make sure due to stress & pain she was not loosing Platelets - then instructed to apply Neosporin 3xs daily & keep close eye on Bella. - Now fast forward to Feb 7th... I took my 2 Shih-Tzu's Hachi & Maximus, I noticed when we got home while removing his harness a huge blob of hair on his chest that might have been missed. I took a picture & sent to Claudia where there was NO response "I have all text" so I cut the blob of hair myself as seen in below pix. I also noticed his private yellow as if he was not completely bathed - which was odd any other grooming session when picked up it was never like that. - Fast forward to Feb 10th I had noticed Bella & Max were shaking there heads & scratching at their ears. I called the vet & took them into an appt- ear cultures were done on both pets & results showed a very bad infection from water that had entered the ear canal when bathed. The ONLY bathing that is done is when they have been groomed by Claudia. - Fast forward to today 3/30 I still wanted to give her a chance I really liked her & know people make mistakes I just ask to correct them & not let it happen again- thats ALL! Well I took Bella to her this morning at 9am asked if she can please make sure to put the cotton balls in Bella's ears as well as Max & Hachi's during their appt's. Because of the bad ear infection that Bella & Max had just finally got over. She said ok! However when I arrived to pick up Bella she was very bothered saying Bella kept shaking her head & cotton would fall out - I told her that Bella is still very skittish when her ears are touched or perhaps when putting cotton due to the severe ear infection she had just healed from. She still seemed very bothered & not willing to except the issues that had occurred. I was not going to stop taking her my 3 furbabies I was hoping these issues would be correct & NOT happen again. However as she continued to be in denial & took it in a very unprofessional manner. Because my pets "GROOMER" was nit willing to except responsibility I have decided to protect my furbabies & take them elsewhere. Our pets can not speak we are their voice just as we are our children's. I never asked Claudia to pay a cent of the almost $1000 vet bills, cultures & labs I had to pay I was just asking for understanding & concern for what my pets went through & correct it. read more

WE LOVE KRISTIN. Snowball has never been groomed before. The first time we went to a groomer, she was deemed too aggressive. She was growling and snapping so we were actually really afraid and disappointed because we weren't sure if we would ever be able to get her groomed. When we gave Kristin a call, she was very sweet and let us know that there could be a variety of factors causing her to be aggressive. There were a lot of other (much larger) dogs at the other place and she was definitely stressed out. Kristin assured us at Puppy Cutz, they only take one dog at a time and take ~10 minutes to get to know the dogs. When I took her to the appointment, Snowball was growling and I was afraid we would have to go home once again but Kristin was sooo sweet and patient and eventually was able to pick her up! She updated me and sent me before and after photos of Snowball. We all loooove her new haircut. She's extra fluffy now. Kristin is very thorough and takes the time to make sure the doggies aren't stressed out. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Thank you so much for being so accommodating, Kristin. You're the best! 2/1/18 - i am going to change my review to a single star because they continue to provide false information and deny they were wrong in response to my review. A key point to my review was that I provided pictures to them of my male puppy to duplicate (now added to this review) - TO WHICH THEY CONFIRMED AND AGREED COULD BE DUPLICATED. his fur was cut close and tight to skin - but OBVIOUSLY he was not naked and still had a thin coat on him (perfectly normal). He was groomed from the certified breeder's groomer/vet. I guess I would more so say that the fading was awful and not to my perfection at all and maybe this place is just not trained well to do so since they only know one schnauzer cut. Whatever may be your reason... tell me upfront and disagree or tell me first hand... not accept/agree to something and not be able to carry through with it. Anyways, I posted the photos of my male pup's cut so everyone could see and compare... his fur was still visible but defined and fine, not dangerous to his health at all! I hate folks that makes excuses and tries to find reasoning for their customer's dissatisfaction - the customer is always right and you should just accept that! You could NOT deliver what I wanted... and thats that! ORIGINAL POST: I had a cut last Saturday for my new baby doll that I got. The only nice part of this place (why I gave them 2 stars) was that they squeezed me in last minute on the same day of calling. The lady that answered got me very excited because she said she was very familiar with Schnauzer Cuts because she herself owns one. I have a 10 week old mini Schnauzer that is a boy and I wanted to get a girl Schnauzer so I got her at 8 weeks. My boy Schnauzer came to me already groomed with the Schnauzer Cut I prefer (there are a couple different kinds). My girl however was not cut yet - because she was a bit younger and from a different breeder. I showed the lady exactly what I wanted from photos and she said she saw them and understood. When I got photos of her haircut prior to picking her up - it was nothing like what I wanted. I called her on it and asked her to fix it.... I wanted a tight shave on back as close as can and defined skirt on the bottom with bushy legs and brows. I understood that her eyelashes and brows were not long enough yet but I was still very disappointed with the final look and response. It really showed no value to my baby girl schnauzer. The whole point was that they both match. She quoted $65 and said it included shampoo & cutting the nails. On the final bill she claims she is only charging $60 because it wasn't the look we wanted, but I told her my pup had already had her nails trimmed so I feel like that $5 off was more so for the nails not because of my dissatisfaction. Her reasons were unacceptable! She said that she saw my photos but that it was not the schnauzer cut, once I told her there were different kinds of cut that you can google it... she changed it to that it wasn't the "preferred schnauzer cut". and that they like the cut the "AKC" way and that that was the propper look. She continued to say that she is very experienced with Schnauzers. My mom has had a schnauzer previous to mine for 14 years and other family members - trust me we know our schnauzers. Once I told her she switched and claimed she was not trained and didn't have propper tools even cut that look even though you can see her other photos of other dogs where some were cut very short. Her last reason was finally basically telling me "we don't like that cut for the schnauzer." She offered to fix it a little but that she couldn't do so much. I accepted my pup back and she does not look that bad - however I am still very upset and disappointed with service and I expressed this to them and would never book another appointment. Mainly because they do not understand customer satisfaction and how the customer should be able to get what they want because what they want. If you could not comply with the standard cut as per requested then why agree and say that you could in the first place. I showed specific photos and she said yes, she understood and did NOT MENTION ANYTHING about how it could NOT be done. Another thing is that getting dog haircuts or any haircut in the first place should be the clients choice - Not the stylist or groomer's choice. It is like me going to get a haircut asking for a short bob and my stylist tells me no - when i ask why then I would hear "because I don't like it!". We should be able to get our hair cut and our pet's hair cut the way we want to not how they prefer it. My dog is my dog! read more

Before making an appointment at Puppy Cutz I had taken my 5 month old puppy to a different groomer. When I got there they explained that he was matted and that they would have to shave him all off. About an hour after I dropped him off they called me and said "Sorry we were only able to shave half of his body" "He's flipping out, You need to come get him" when i picked him up they suggested to take him to a vet and have him sedated. My poor puppy wouldn't stop crying. I reached out to Puppy Cutz and explained what had happened in his previous appointment, but they were willing to give it a try. It was about time that I would give her and her team a review, but life has gotten away from me and I just couldn't get around to do it. She does such an outstanding job that I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. She is so loving and patient with every little one she receives, that you immediately know that you have left your babies in great hands.
