We absolutely LOVE this place! We actually don't really trust anyone with our dogs while we are out of town because they are so high maintenance and one needs meds 2x a day. It's so nice being able to head out of town for a few days and not have to worry about our fur babies! We pick them up and they are tired and worn out and sleep all day (another perk!). The staff is super friendly and really accommodating. They know our dogs and greet them by name as the walk in. Our two pups love coming here as well. From the minute we start packing our bags and loading the car both our pups are pacing the house waiting for their Q to get in the car. When they enter the facility those tails wag like crazy and they bark with excitement. We refer everyone here we know who has cats/dogs and everyone we have referred has loved their experience just as much as we do! We are so happy to have found pet paradise and it's work the 20min drive to leave our pets in good hands! read more

What a wonderful experience. From the time we dropped her off to the time we picked her up it was awesome. We were a little bit skeptical about dog boarding because we are new dog owners and our dog is 8 months old, she is a puppy. When your dog is very nervous,and is going into a place that she's never been to, you are not sue what to expect.They are very welcoming and make her feel at home. Having a puppy is a lot like having a baby and you need to plan for things. Dog boarding is an option that we never really considered before but this has been a great experience. EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We have never taken our dogs to stay at a place of any sort ever before and merely called Pet Paradise to check pricing. We needed to get the dogs out of the house for the night to celebrate our oldest daughter graduating high school and going of to college. Trying keep an eye on all three and deal with them pooping while people are partying was not going to be a fun night for anyone. So when I called, the lady that answered the phone was so nice and knew everything about the company. She answered all my questions, was super friendly, very thorough, very polite, and made the whole experience amazing on the phone. I agreed immediately to allow our three dogs to stay with them. Once arriving I was greeted with smiles and open arms.....literally, "GIVE ME THOSE BABIES!!" We provided our shot records as the lady on the phone had advised us and that was it. We felt comfortable knowing they were safe and in good hands. Upon pick up the same welcome and amazing customer service. I can't think of a better experience I have had with a corporation. I was extremely nervous dropping my dog off for the first time. She was a rescue and was previously abused so she is very feisty. When I first arrived I felt extremely comfortable leaving her in their care. Tawnya (I hope I spelled it correctly) was extremely patient with her. She took the time to let Daisy get to know her so she was not freaked out. She did a terrific job grooming her and making sure she felt comfortable. I was notified promptly after she was finished, it took a little over an hour. She even took a short video of how well she did which I really appreciated. She came out happy with a cute little handkerchief! I would definitely recommend bringing your pet to be groomed here. Extremely satisfied with the service! My dogs very first stay here and he was diagnosed with kennel cough, he also brought it home to my little dog who was not boarded and she too was diagnosed with kennel cough. The vet bill was over $300.00 to diagnose and treat both of my dogs. My sister who also boarded her dog the same weekend was diagnosed with kennel cough from this place and he wasn't even allowed to play because he wasn't fixed. The staff seemed to care but what are they going to do to prevent this from happening to other dogs. I can't even imagine how many other dogs were infected in one weekend. My dogs are struggling now. Saddening that your perfect healthy dog comes home with an infection that could have been prevented. I won't be boarding ever again, I knew it was a risk and now I know it was a mistake. read more

Our miniature dachshund Rocco seemed to enjoy his stay at Pet Paradise. He has boarded many times before in Wisconsin, but since moving to Arizona we were hoping to find another good place for him to board. Rocco stayed for a free "try out" daycare one day and did well. His recent stay was for four nights. The folks at Pet Paradise place dogs in groups based on their temperament. He's a docile guy and fit in well with the group. We downloaded an app on our phone which allowed us to monitor the play rooms at Pet Paradise. So on our trip back to Wisconsin, we were able to watch Rocco with other dogs in the Phoenix Pet Paradise. That was fun! read more

Pet Paradises hours are fantastic. Online reservations are very convenient. When, I pull up with my dog, Ferris, their friendly staff is waiting for us inside. He is happy and exhausted when I pick him up. Check out is very fast and smooth. Also, Ferris has had training sessions with Lynn Woodard. She is loving, brilliant, and has lots of patients to teach you what she's taught your dog. So you're not lost in the process of training. I usually take my puppies to another doggie resort, but we recently moved and my neighbors suggested this place. I am so impressed!!! They did a temperament meeting yesterday, it was complimentary which was really nice. The employee that checked me in was very kind, professional and explained to me the process. It is clean, spacious and really well run. There dogs were coming and going and they seemed so healthy and happy! My puppies came home nice and tired. I feel so good about how they took such good care of my fur babies. They sent home a report card and I am so confident when I bring them back for an over night stay. As any pet owner we are all skeptical of taking your furry loved ones to a new place, which I was. I scheduled a Sunday appointment (yes they have grooming on Sunday!!) and took both dogs in (Shih Tzu and Shih Tuz Poodle) and I talked with the groomer and told her what I like and part of the dogs to watch out for sensitive stops when groomer. A couple hours later they are done and look absolutely wonderful!! They both smelt good, looked good, she did an amazing job. Well will be going back in another 8 weeks. Also I check out the boarding facility, all in doors and not in cages. (love that) The boarding areas are blocked walls so If you do not like your pets to be in cages this is the place to take them. (no home blankets or toys unless they are brand new.) read more

We absolutely highly recommend this place to board your furry family members. We have been taking our Bella here per recommendation of our veterinarian who actually uses them too. Bella is treated, no actually spoiled like when she stays here. I can honestly say we feel at ease leaving her. Even though she is a fur baby, she still is our family member.....and we are always concerned and worried when we can't bring her with us. However, this facility definitely has proven itself to be the place to be the "home away from home" for our Bella. Zero stars if I could. I dropped my very sweet one year old puppy off for a meet & greet today, was told he would meet a dog to check his behavior & then he'd be allowed to do open play. The timeframe was 4 hours. I dropped him at 9am, called at 11:30 bc I did not see him on camera, I called. I was given the excuse that they were short staffed & then told he'd be out at 12:30. I checked the camera at 12:50 & called again.....was told he'd be out at 1:15. I immediately went to pick up my sweet boy & in the lobby was asked if I wanted to talk about pricing. ABSOLUTELY NOT! I told them that I was not interested in paying their fees for my dog to be kenneled most of the day. I was told "well if you're used to cage free then this isn't the place". WTF, the whole point of doggie day camp/care is so he is not caged most of the day. Do not subject your pets to this company. Was only told that they cage animals most of the day after I picked him up. read more

I don't write reviews, but I am implored to write this one. Our two pups (Stoney and Colby) have never been to a resort, and we had a last minute trip come up. So day 1 was the "get to know you" visit...nightmare (bc of the pups being scared). They didn't know if they would be able to board them. Matt and team were committed to helping. Day 2 of "get to know you" went much better, and they were able to be boarded. We just finished boarding number 2...and once again, Matt and the entire staff have done everything above and beyond to make sure our pups were comfortable, and taken care of....and yes, Stoney and Colby LOVE Matt, and being there (as well as the ENTIRE team). Really what else is there to say? Your pets are your family, and here, they are family as well. So to Matt, and the entire team - we simply cannot thank you enough for taking care of our puppers, and making them feel like part of your family also. This property and staff have our HIGHEST recommendation (I wish I could go beyond just 5 stars). I love Pet Paradise and so does my little Dog Emmie. I have boarded her there several times and use the doggie day care. The staff is very kind and helpful. I like being able to see Emmie on the video Camera when she is playing with the other dogs. They also do grooming and dog training. It's a great place. Very clean too. read more

My husband and I went out of town for five days and the pups stayed at pet paradise. We were so excited to see our loves and they basically checked us out like at a grocery store. They had no idea how the dogs were, I asked a question about them and they looked at me like I had a third eye. We have no idea if there was enough food them, maybe not, they look skinny... they didn't even give our food measuring cup back or CBD oil for the old dog. Very very upset that my puppy got Kennel Cough after being boarded for just one night at pet Paradise Happy Valley location. I have had multiple dogs over 17 years in 2 different states that were boarded with current Bordetella vaccinations. This is the first time a dog of mine with a current vaccination got kennel cough. It was only after it was reported to management (I.e. that my dog was coughing) did this facility jump to action with top to bottom dog run cleaning with super strength germ killing chemical products. When asked to be made Whole again, I was given the option for a few complimentary doggie day care days. PostScript: It cost $200 in emergency vet and regular vet fees. read more

I travel a bit for work and they were able to take my boy at the last minute which was great! He gets a lot more play time here than the places I have been boarding him and I can tell he is a lot happier. I have a boxer/pit mix and most other boarders don't let him join in the fun so I was happy to find out they let him play with others. Great place with great staff!! read more

Do not bring your pet to this location in Phoenix off of Happy Valley Road unless you enjoy spending extra cash at your vet to treat them for a variety of ailments and illnesses. We have boarded here on several occasions because of the convenience to our home but never again. Every visit our dogs are returned with some type of GI Illness or respiratory problem...EVERYTIME ... which now increases the cost of our need in boarding our dogs. Our dogs leave our house happy,clean and healthy and at least one returns in some form of distress. We have boarded previously at other facilities with no problem and for much longer times. Perhaps a visit from the health department is in order here. The staff seems very nice - I am just not sure they are attentive to cleanliness or what the dogs are engaged in outside of their rooms. I am sorry to post such a horrible review and have never done this type of review before - but if you love your animals - don't come here read more

Pet paradise has been incredible every time I have used their service. The last time I was there I had a last minute trip to make and my dog needed a boratela shot however, I had to go to work. The staff went above and beyond and helped me get my dogs shots taken care of. I don't remember their names but they worked the morning of March 11. I just picked up my Shihtzu Lily, apparently they weren't expecting us so early. When they brought her out she was soaked in pee and smelled awful. The employee who brought her out asked to bathe her first because in her own words "she smells pretty bad". The other employee said sometimes it happens because they may have played in the pool which sometimes gets urine in it?!? I love taking Lily to the groomer there, he is so good with Lily, but after this unfortunately I am going to have to find somewhere else to take her. It's almost like she was sitting in a cage for the entire week in her own feces and urine. I sincerely hope that this was not the case but only the employee's and owner know how they really treat other people's pets. read more

Dropped off my dog for a week long stay at Pet Paradise while we went on vacation. Couldn't be more pleased with how well everything went. The staff was attentive to his needs regarding feeding and medication. The have live cameras in the 3 play areas that are accessible via a paid web app ($1.99/month) that I used to watch my dog remotely. They also took daily photos and sent them via email update. Took advantage of a bath the day he checked out, basically saved a trip to a separate groomer. Great staff and facilities, highly recommended! read more

So we picked up the girls after six days at Pet Paradise. We caslled several times during our trip and got detailed reports on how the girls were doing. We were told how they were eating and sleeping, how they got along in play group, a couple of funny stories... It was like our Cali and Tuzi were the only pups spending the week at Pet Paradise! We didn't think we would land in time to pick them up Tuesday night so we had arranged for Wednesday morning, but then we found out we might just make it by 5.30-6.00, so we called and asked if we could get the girls Tuesday night. (We missed them!) Then our flight landed 45 minutes early! So we called to see if there was any way they could get their go-home baths and be ready earlier. Pet Paradise didn't blink an eye---when we walked in the door at 5.00, the girls were washed and brushed and sweet-smelling. I won't say our pups didn't want to leave, but you could tell they had had a good time. It was more about being happy to see Mom and Dad then a "oh, gosh, get me out of this gulag" kind of thing. They looked great, acted happy, and everyone at Pet Paradise milling around the reception area had a warm word and pet of farewell for the girls. I still hate this corporate reservation thing, but now that I know how to get around it it, that quibble is over. I feel very comfortable and believe that our girls are in very good hands at Pet Paradise! read more

This place and the people that work here are great. They really seem to love all the pups and kitties and are always friendly and accommodating. I have an active pup who loves to go play with his friends and comes home tired!!:) We also use their groomer Chris. He does a fantastic job. I had tried a couple of other places for day care for my Golden Retriever puppy prior to Pet Paradise and had fairly horrid experiences. It was with great trepidation I took her there even after liking my initial impressions. I had nothing to fear. She loves it and I love the way they treat her. She has been going there since she was 5 months old and just had her first birthday. She is always excited to go and loves being there. She goes for daycare once a week and she has also stayed there for 5 days while we were on vacation. I would highly recommend Pet Paradise to anyone. read more
