Rude and condescending doesn't work for me, so I left despite having traveled all over Kernersville to honor the appointment. I've been in enough abusive relationships not to pay to begin another. It was as if I was standing at an airline counter dealing with these women. They had the chance to land a loyal pet lover (and a great tipper), but they must have enough of those. If you like being abused this is the place for you.

The groom starts at $65 depending on your service and your cat. WHAT A STEAL. I called on a Monday morning and they were able to get me in that afternoon! They were so helpful in picking a time that was low traffic so my cat wouldn't be overwhelmed and they had the whole process done in two hours. My cat is so clean and her coat is so soft and I'm sure she's feeling great after getting rid of all that undercoat. The office was clean, and you could tell that the ladies in there would love your fur babies like you do. It was so hard dropping her off but Lynn and Christy made it easy. They were very professional, answered my slew of questions and called me promptly when the groom was over. I would recommend them to anyone and can't wait to schedule her next spa day!!

I was nervous because although my dog has been boarded before he's never been to a group play daycare so I appreciated they make you bring your dog in for an assessment to make sure it's the right place for him and know that they're not allowing dogs in who are not a good fit. Sunny came home and went straight to sleep in my lap I know he was given lots of attention and got to play all day!

Her coat is incredibly uneven - it looks like someone just went in with kitchen scissors. But that isn't the most disappointing part. When I went to pick up my lively, energetic puppy, she was cowering. I brought her home and she was limping with one leg. My pup is never going back here - vet's orders!

When my husband tried to set up an appointment, the person on the phone 1, had an attitude and 2, told us it would be an extra $25 for us to stay there while our dogs were groomed. We tried to explain that one of my dogs is a previous owner surrender and has a fear of abandonment, but they didn't care and weren't hearing us out. If that's their attitude towards my dog's needs, then I don't want to do business with them. I love my dogs too much to force them in a scary situation and just leave. I need someone willing to go out of their way to make sure my dogs needs are met.

It was probably the cleanest grooming shot that I had ever come across and organized and it was very well put together. They were very attentive to Daisy and her medical needs they were aware they called me a few times just to clarify on things instead of just assuming which I really did appreciate andlook at her I can't even believe that was a 15 year-old dog I mean she just looks gorgeous. I think that approach is great, and was optimistic about taking my elderly dog there since I think the busier places must be overwhelming for him. They called me about 15 minutes after I dropped him off to say I needed to come get him because he was too stressed out to be groomed (he didn't bite or anything; they were concerned about his rapid breathing). I appreciated it, because I'd rather bring him come home without being cut than have them push through the full grooming if he wasn't up to it. They charged me just for the bath, which was kind of them. What I didn't appreciate as much was that they refused to work with me to find a solution, e.g., booking another appointment and having me stay to help keep him calm--and I explained I'd be happy to pay in full for both appts regardless of the outcome. They recommended that I take him to my vet and have him "shaved down"--which would almost certainly be much more stressful for him. We have chosen to groom him at home. Much less stress for him, but since we have no skills his new cut is a bit... avant garde. Such is life. If your dog tolerates grooming well, I expect they would be a very good shop.

I am sad to say I will not be returning to Paws on Cherry. I have been taking our Aussie here for…read moreseveral months since we moved to the area. They have always done a nice job. However , since I started here it seems they have a turnover in help and now seem to clearly be understaffed. I was told to drop him off at 8:00 am. He was there for over 6 hours before I was called to pick him up. I was very unhappy and told her this was unacceptable. I had told the owner from the beginning I did not want him kept crated more than needed. If they are taking so many dogs that it takes them this long to get them complete, they clearly should be timing the drop offs so they are not having to crate them over this long of a period. I have never had my dogs in groomers more than 3 1/2-4 hours tops! Her answer was that there were only 2 of them working that day. Clearly they had more than they could handle in a timely manner. I would have preferred to be called and told they were shorthanded and I would have gladly rescheduled. Also I tried numerous times to call when time was ticking by, and they had no one to answer the call. Sorry to say, I feel their business practices have much to be worked out. If time is not a problem for you or your pet, then maybe this is the place for you.
