My little guy was great during the wash. After I tried to take him around the store but he was being bratty. I had to clean a few of his messes. At that point I just brought him home instead of getting a treat. The service was great. They showed me how to use the tub and they had doggie soap for washing. They also supplied dry towels. They have a dryer, I've never tried one with my little guy so I didn't bother to use it. It made it much easier than washing him at home.

They are still hand feeding and we were set to out of town for two days leading up to our pickup date. Our family all went to meet the baby and my daughter spent the time bonding with it after school every day. We were out of town Sunday and Monday. Arrived on Tuesday after school to pickup our bird and it was gone. We were told the owner brought a few to Valrico store and he asked me to text pictures of our bird and I did. He said the bird is not in Valrico. It's gone so pick another bird. They won't admit any wrong doing. They said it could have escaped the cage and is somewhere in the store (perhaps dead as it hasn't been fed). Maybe it was stolen (there are cameras). No one looked concerned for the health of the bird at all. No looking around the store. No looking at tapes or reporting a theft of a bird worth a couple hundred dollars. Just it's gone. You can pick a new one or get a refund and leave. I spoke with the owner George on the phone as he was at Valrico and he was rude and could not explain where our bird went. Diana was so nice taking my payment and was so nice when we came to visit the bird after school was all of a sudden cold and filled with excuses on what could have happened to Twixy over the phone. Not only did they not care about my daughter being absolutely devastated she wasn't going to be able to bring her baby bird home. But Diana's husband was there when we arrived and had no idea that we were picking up our bird and was not prepared to train on hand feeding at all. He spoke English just fine until he got on the phone with the owner and his wife, Diana Then it was Spanish telling them we were crazy among other things. This business doesn't care for the welfare of their birds or their customers. Our bird is either dead somewhere in the shop, stolen, or that they sold it and just won't admit it. We got our refund. If you bought our cockatiel (photos below) on 12/15-12/17 at the Valrico or lutz location we would really love to buy our baby and bring it home. Reach out please. The office texted earlier that day asking if she could come at 2:00pm instead. She said she would try. Unfortunately, rain and traffic delayed her, and she arrived at 2:10pm. The waiting room was empty and exam room doors were open, but she was told they could not see our dog because she was "late" for the earlier requested time and their schedule was completely full. They offered to reschedule for the next day. As a worried pet parent, that was incredibly frustrating and upsetting. She immediately called Banfield Pet Hospital (PetSmart). Even though they were fully booked, the receptionist kindly checked with the medical team. Within 30 seconds, he told my wife to bring our dog in. They were clearly very busy when she arrived, but you would never know it from the way she was treated. The entire team -- from the front desk to the vet tech to Dr. Gupta -- showed such kindness, compassion, and professionalism. They took their time, answered her questions, and never made her feel rushed or like she was a burden. As upsetting as her experience was at Vetco, we're incredibly thankful it led us to Banfield Animal Hospital of South Tampa. They earned a new client that day. Thank you PetSmart. Shame on PetCo!

He then proceeded to show her that he was not okay with that. After that we got sent out as if it was my dog's fault. I understand safety is top priority and I would never push anything on anyone, but to have such a bad attitude toward me for no reason is just very unprofessional and unpleasant. I've been taking my dogs to pet smart for grooming for over a decade and not once have I ever encountered someone like this salon leader. You can tell she is just an unpleasant worker and doesn't have the love for dogs. Also if this helps emphasize my statement more, I have never written a review in my life. This is how bad and heartless my interaction with the salon leader was. It costs nothing to be kind and considerate. You never know what others are going through.

My animals are my family, and thankfully they're always healthy and well cared for, so this was terrifying for me. The moment I arrived, Loren exactly what to do and truly helped save her life. It took some time to get the bleeding to stop, and we were both scared at first, but thanks to Lauren's gentle, calm, and caring nature, she pulled through. Even sweet Coconut came over, seeming concerned because I was so upset. Anyone who has birds understands the real bond and connection you have with them. I've been taking my birds to Lauren for grooming for the past few years, and every single one of them is comfortable with him because he is always so patient and gentle. I will never take them anywhere else. Loren could have easily turned me away or sent me somewhere else, but instead he stepped in and helped us when we needed it most. When I went to check out, the item rang up full price. The associate Kassidy tried to help but couldn't adjust it, so she called the manager, Isaac. That's where things went completely downhill. Isaac walked up to the register already curt and dismissive. After showing him the clearly posted BOGO signage, he still refused to honor the sale, saying corporate ends promotions in the system 15 minutes before closing. The signs in the store did NOT reflect that, and his tone made it clear he had no interest in helping or even communicating respectfully. His mannerisms, professionalism, and overall attitude were unacceptable. The customers behind me even commented on how rude the interaction was. I ended up purchasing Fromm dog food as well, but I returned my entire purchase. After this experience, I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. As a pet owner, I expect basic respect and accurate advertising. Our hard-earned money shouldn't be taken lightly, and this location clearly doesn't value its customers. Isaac should not be in a leadership role if this is how he treats people. This was enough to lose my business permanently.
