The last time I was there, the gal working upfront at the register, seemed really mad for some reason. She scoffed or huffed and rolled her eyes when I would ask for something or ask a question. It just really seemed like she didn't want to be there. This most recent time, I was only given the shampoo and not the conditioner for the self wash that I ordered. Once I started the wash, I realized that one was missing, but couldn't very well leave my wet dog to go ask. I also thought they might've stopped offering conditioner and maybe they just only had shampoo...When I mentioned it at the front desk, there was no apology or offer of a small discount. Instead, the person at the front said "well, if you would have told us, we probably would've given it to you." Not a huge deal, but it just bugged me the way she spoke to me.

However, the last 2 times I took…read moremy multipoo to Pet's Earth, once to Papillion and this time to Bennington, I've had a less than satisfactory experience. Both times I expressed my dissatisfaction after the groom and asked for assistance in fixing the problem. The time at Papillion they offered to groom him at a later date at no cost. I was not able to make it in due to a family move. Next, I took him to the Bennington location and, again, he came out looking like a first day groomer had groomed him. I took him back in today, a week later. The groomer was obviously not happy about having to fix him and said, she didn't have time to bathe him, (that I should have told them I wanted that!) what's more, she didn't really know what more she could do for him. When I asked if she really thought this looked like a dog who had just been groomed a week ago, she defiantly said yes. I was incredulous and tried explaining he was all choppy, he didn't even look like he'd been bathed the last time, nor had his ears been brushed out. The manager tried to be an intermediary, but ultimately took the groomer's side. At which point, I just shook my head and said I'm done and left. I have 4 standard poodles and a multipoo. I think a more courteous congenial attitude toward fixing the problem was in order before losing over $500 every 6 weeks to groom my crew! I was calm, explained what was wrong, and did not get angry. But I was frustrated and stupefied why they couldn't just shape him up and make him look fresh and well groomed. She's knowledgable, compassionate, respectful, and resourceful. Gabrielle, since she's in a large van (her mobile grooming station), is really able to focus in on your dog and just your dog (maybe she does cats too -- if she does, this is even better for cats). Gabrielle is also wonderful about telling you about any issues or potential issues that your dog might have. Both our dogs have been super excited to see her. The fact that she comes to your house so your dog doesn't need to go into potentially stressful sessions is such a bonus. We also scheduled a teeth float only to be told after the vet arrived that it was too hot and they only do floats in the fall. They did refund the farm call charge but only after I complained, and it ended up being a wasted visit as I'd never have scheduled it if I'd l known they wouldn't float her teeth at that time. The final straw is a letter they sent to their clients today and also posted on their FB page that essentially states they have expanded beyond what they can safely handle with their current number of vets and will now prioritize and provide care based on completely non-medical factors such as whether you own a trailer or whether you're a regular source of income for them -- sorry, I mean "existing client". Basically, blackmailing people to spend more money there so you have better chances of getting emergency care for your animal. They're now making their poor business choices our (and our horse's) problem rather than making the simple and obvious choice to hire more vets when you have more clients. I expressed my concern about the policy change and the fact that they don't appear to be hiring more veterinarians (and I was far more polite and restrained than I'm being here) and rather than addressing my concerns professionally, my comment was deleted and I was blocked from their FB page. So, they're now getting a different solution to their problem -- we will no longer do business with Nebraska Equine and will encourage others to find a vet who actually has animal care as their top priority instead of money and convenience. Maybe losing some clients will help relieve NE's evidently overworked vets.

Chris is so patient and kind. She seems genuinely happy to see them when they arrive. If she notices a sore or anything unusual she lets us know right away. We really appreciate how punctual she is. When she says they will be done at 11 they are done at 11. Thank you for everything you do and the love you show Bosley and Gus.
