As far as in person pet stores go - I only shop here for my 4 cats and white German Shepherd. Mainly bc their prices are the best with sales and rewards coupons, but also bc the employees are always super duper friendly. I cant say that for other pet stores.. I also consistently use their dog baths, although they have raised the price on using them, it still makes it the easiest and cheapest way to wash and dry my big girl in winter! I also should add that they have a fantastic selection of products - I can only find my dog's food here and its on sale about every 3 months. several times now I've had flying moths? In the food. Today they refused to refund/replace because I bought two bags last time it was on sale and now it's been over 30 days. Guess they won't be getting my little hundred dollars a month going forward. Edit: the manager stood by their product and replaced the bag of dog food with an apology for his younger staff just blindly following the guidelines instead of providing customer service. This is my go to pet store when I need anything. They have pretty much everything and their pricing is good. They have a good selection of chew toys that even the most aggressive dog will be able to chew on for a long time without tearing apart. However, I was disappointed when I came in around 8:30pm to give my dog a bath (she had found every mud puddle in the vicinity!) and was told the bath facilities were closed 'because the store closes at 9'. Sadly, I think I'm done with this location. The staff is always friendly and the store is well stocked, but the dog baths have gotten SO gross. The past several times I've brought my Lab all of the baths and floors have been completely coated in dog hair and they no longer have built in collars or doors to keep your dog safely in the tubs. read more

We been coming to this store for the past couple years to get our dog a clean bath, but for the past 6 months, the dog bath is a totally disaster with broken tools and dog hair everywhere. On 11/17/22 (3PM), my wife came in to give our dog a bath and half way thru the wash, she noticed there were not a single towel and so she alerted the cashier to bring a few inside. After 30mins both my wife and the dog are super wet and NOBODY still come in with more towels. As we are experience cold weather so its very easy to get sick. She went up to the front cashier AGAIN and the shift manager (Louis) came out with the rudest attitude towards my wife and told her "Nothing is guarantee around here" and told my wife to use the air blower to dry themselves(If he said that to me, i would punch his face thru the window) He kept asking her many times "So what do you want?" and he told her he can careless if she write a bad review on him or the store. I had a similar situation 4 months ago and the young chubby green hair girl just ignored me but luckily i had 1 clean towel. Maybe YOU the owner should be on the site more often instead using cockroaches(weed odor) running the store for you. As an Admin of dog owner FB group, I will share her story to all 4000+ members and City of Carrollton Animal Adoption Center to stay away from your store. If you truly want to address it accordingly, my wife would not have experienced the humiliation. Like the other two locations I've been to, this PSP is an excellent place to shop for pet supplies. Nice people, good selection (lowest of the low end to highest of the high end), and other services to boot (like grooming). Peter, the manager, took good care of us and was very knowledgeable on product info I never would have expected him to know off the top of his head. This would easily be a 5-star review of they'd had crickets. This is the 2nd time in... over 10 years, I think?... that I've ever been to a pet store that ran our of crickets. So rare. I'm sure it won't happen again anytime soon, but it just happened to occur the first time we visited this new location. So alas, the spiders will have to wait a little longer to eat... This store is new, clean and well organized. Extremely eager and helpful staff, the ratio of workers to customers has been very high each time I went. Each one as friendly as the next, greeting you at the front door and offering assistance. There is a display of really cute dog treats by the cash register. They offer self-service and full service dog washing area and cat adoptions. They sell bird seed and bulk food by the pound for small animals. You can tell they want to be a part of the community. On my most recent trip one associate (he may have been the manager) asked me what pets I had at home and how many cats I had. He was a little surprised when I only had 1 cat. He said he doesn't normally get that response, the guy he asked after had 5 cats! Great store with good deals, and excellent people. Give it chance when you're in the area. Been here twice, and very impressed with the level of customer service we received. As new dog owners, we were unsure of what to expect going in, but they were extremely helpful - gave us tons of information on dog food, treats, fleas & ticks etc. We were even provided a free sample bag of dehydrated chicken to test out with our dog. The individual attention we received here is second to none! We also used their dog washing facility which was excellent not to mention reasonably priced. I was literally on the way to Petsmart when I remembered that this place opened up. Arrived and immediately asked for a nail trimming. They charge $8 for trimming and grinding. Manager Jennifer was very sweet and very knowledgeable. She took my pups by the bathrooms which was kind of weird but still fine! She likes to have parents help calm the pups down while she clips. She took her time and was very thoughtful with my anxious dogs. Afterward they were offered treats. We walked around afterward and they have bulk treats for all animals which is so nice! All the rawhides are at dog level so the dogs could pick out there own. We bought some pig ears and my dogs couldn't stop until they were finished! Great treat! They also have self dog washing stations for a great price! I will certainly be partaking in that. Can't wait to come back! read more

Just adopted a cute little dog that seems to be a flea magnet so I thought I stop in and see what they could recommend for it. Me not knowing very much about this stuff got a ton of great advice from Eduardo! He was extremely helpful and seemed to care that I got the right product for the job. I was told they matched prices however they refused to match an Amazon price. My Blue Wilderness can be delivered from Amazon for $48.99 or I can go to this store and pay $57.99. I purchase 10 bags annually, I will take the $80 annual savings and will not frequent the store. Took my 125 pound catahoula mix to use the dog wash station for the first time and we were both very impressed. The staff was helpful and friendly and the dog wash area was clean and well kept. I recently bought 2 bags of dog food at PSP because they were on super sale (PSP won't carry it on the floor but I could order it through them easily). However, after using this food for over 6 years, my dogs are now having some real big tummy issues. My vet suspects that my regular dog food brand is causing the problem and wanted me to go on a restricted diet with them. However the dog food brand that the vet suggested was incredibly high! ($60 for a 17.5 lb bag!!!!). I called PSP and they said they would take back BOTH the unopened bag and the opened bag without a receipt for store credit at sale price. DEAL! Not only did they honor their word but Jenn walked me around the store to show me limited ingredient diet food that could be good for the dogs. She KNEW what she was talking about too (I've done a bit of research before I went) and she helped me stay within my price range. She also helped me find treats for my dogs that I could give them as well. I've always like PSP because it carries better quality dog food than Pet Smart, and now I like it because it's customer service is fabulous. Well done. I cant say enough about the staff at this location. I brought my 2 young sons in earlier in the day to pick out two fish. We brought the fish home and put them in the tank. I checked the fish about an hour later at 9:15 PM and they unfortunately were not swimming. I called the store hoping they would answer (they closed at 9 PM) and thankfully someone picked up. I explained the situation and without hesitation they said I could come in and get new fish as my sons would have been crushed to find their new fish had died overnight. It turns out that we had floated the fish in the bag for too long and that is where we made the mistake. Michael and Zachary were so friendly and helpful when I got there and spent the time to get fish that looked similar. Mind you this was after their closing time. They could have easily told me they were closed but understood the situation and showed true compassion to help. You do not find this type of service every day and I am now a Pet Supplies Customer for life!!. Thank you so much it is refreshing to know that care and service like this still exists. read more
