Had a terrible experience with manager David, he yelled at my daughter for dropping "trash" on the ground out of a cart and then laughing at him, but she did neither and this man kicked her out of the store... she's 15. This guy needs to be fired. She just wanted rat food but the bag was 2.5 Lbs for 8$ and it's 9$ for a 5 Lb bag of the same food at Petsmart less than a mile away. Incredible pets is far better too. Pet Co is not very easy to work with for what you'd think would be simple. For example, I called to book a grooming appointment for my small dog since Pet Smart was booked and they needed her rabies certificate which was normal. I told her I had a print out of all of her shots from her vet with the date given and how long they are good for but they would not take it. Why not? Their response was "well, we aren't Pet Smart. We are Pet Co." Wow. Needless to say I won't be bringing my business there again. It should not be this difficult. read more

Would not recommend this location. Have been here a few times for grooming over the past several years. While never greatly satisfied with the results, always tipped the groomer and returned for additional visits. The pricing was reasonable, the customer service was good and the results were acceptable. The last visit and groom, however was not acceptable. My fault, did not thoroughly check out my pouch before paying. Once at home, the bad cut was obvious. Just thought is was unfortunate, but not enough to call and complain or to not go back. However, they sent me a survey asking for my feedback. I gave an honest review with specifics as to why I was not satisfied. I was thanked for my feedback. Called this week to make an appointment and was informed that due to my poor review they could no longer see my dog. A Manager came on the line and explained it was not the review, but the dog was old and very agitated at the visit. I do not believe this reason as the dog is old, but was no history of being agitated at prior visits. Very poor customer service and mediocre grooming services. read more

I took my dog, Porter, here for his first ever grooming appointment. I had gotten good recommendations for this Petco from friends and family. I booked an appointment and brought in his vaccine records. I was a few minutes early to the appointment, the groomer was still finishing the dog before me, obviously no problem. I sat there as my appointment time came and went, 5 minutes past my appointment the groomer checked me in and asked me to wait another 5-10 minutes for the other groomer to get back from lunch. Okay, sure no problem. Almost 25 minutes past my scheduled appointment time I called the PetSmart literally across the highway. They said if I came over right then they could take care of my dog. I got over there and was checked right in and Porter was immediately taken back to get started. I was also pleased with their work and will be going back to PetSmart for any follow ups. The woman at the Petco groomers was nice, but obviously overbooked and overwhelmed. What is the point of making an appointment if there aren't enough groomers for those appointments? Super disappointed in the way they seem to operate their grooming salon. read more

So disappointed with petco.I bought my daughter a7$ gold fish today and not even 3hrs later the fish is dead. My daughter was devastated,i called petco to see if they will give me a replacement the girl on the phone said i would need to put the dead fish in a bag,and bring another bag with some of the tank water in it but that would have to be tomorrow because they were closing.i asked if i can take a picture of their dead fish the girl was very rude said no we want the dead fish. there was no way I was going to keep a dead fish in the bag around all night with my upset daughter crying about it its pretty sad that Petco is willing to lose a customer over a $7 fish read more

I've been in to this location a number of times within the past two weeks. Each time I enter the store I end up leaving disappointed. First off we can talk about the lack of customer service. On the most recent experience, I stood in the aquatic section for literally 30 minutes, going back and forth between all of the tanks. I was searching for the appropriate fish for my tank but this was extremely hard at this location due to numerous dead fish in many of the tanks. It must be known that I was not approached once for any sort of assistance. Due to this, I will not be returning to this location. read more

I absolutely love this Petco. All the employees I've met have always been in good. Kaylan is so patient and calm. I can tell she knows her stuff. She always has a smile on her face! She's like a walking ray of sunshine, no joke! She helped me train my corgi and he is stubborn but she helped me through it with expertise. I also want to give a shoutout to Miranda in the grooming department who is basically the dog whisperer. She is very patient and caring as well with my corgi. She grinds his nails instead of just trimming them because corgi nails are brittle (she knew it and recommended it) today she gave him a bath, cleaned his ears, took care of his nails, blow dried him, etc. and I can only imagine he must have been a squirmy puppy at times. I'm sure being a groomer is difficult yet she handles it with such finesse and with a smile every time. She makes it seem effortless. I envy her corgi whispering skills. As for the the cashiers, I don't know them very well but all the cashiers I have ever come across have been very knowledgable as well as helpful/truthful. I always leave this location with a smile on my face, and it helps knowing my furbaby is in great hands of people I can trust. I'm not sure why this location has such a mediocre Yelp rating, but in this day and age of so many pet stores with grooming mishaps I feel like this place is a gem, few and far between. We adopted a large hyper dog the other who had never walked on a leash before. On our way home, we had to stop by petco to pick out some new food and toys for him. I also had my 2 year old with me. I was really dreading trying to manage a 2 year old with a brand new dog so I walked right up to the check out area and asked for help. The staff (especially Mike) went above and beyond to help us get what we needed and even help us out to the car. My veterinarian recommended diapers for my dog, so I passed up the local pet store for Petco, thinking a national chain would have a bigger and better selection. I went into the store and went up and down the aisles looking, not one single employee was around to ask. I finally found the shelf where they were kept, there was not one single product, not just the size I was looking for, but an empty shelf of all sizes! I walked up to the cashier and asked if there were any in back, and was told that they haven't had any in awhile! I drove over to incredible pets an found my diapers. What's the point of having a big chain store if they never have what you need. read more

Everyone is always nice and friendly and it's really clean. It's a smaller one so they don't have as much as other locations but it's great having one locally read more

We love their grooming center! We bring our large German Shepherd, male, dog to Jordan and she does such an amazing job with him. He sheds A LOT so we always do the option 2 grooming pack with the de-shedding treatment and our dog comes out smelling fresh and clean, plus his coat comes out super shiny and beautiful. Jordan and the rest of the staff there are always polite and extremely helpful. We do not trust anyone else grooming our dog because this Petco does such an amazing job! read more

I went to them to get a fish for my friend's birthday. The fish person was not helpful and was kind of short. He questioned me about my tank and when he found out the size he told us that beta or maybe one molly would be OK. My friend does not like betas, so we opted for one small neon green fish. It was alone in its tank. He refused to sell it to me because it had to have two, he would not sell me two because he determined my tank was two small. Mind you the fish was alone in its tank. She really wanted a fish so we got the only kind of fish he would sell us a molly. There was also dead fish in the tanks. DO NOT GO HERE! You may not be able to buy the fish you want. read more

Do not take your dog here for grooming. They mistreat the animals. Time is more important than caring about the animals. My dog had bloody toes from a nail trimming and was very upset. I watch other dogs be handled with out patience and care. Under staffed, not well trained and not good dog people. read more
