Cute kitties not for sale....
Leeza D.

The litter robot is one of the most amazing inventions ever. I am cat sitting two of the cutest Scottish folds ever and needed litter for the robot. I was able to get a litter refill for $8.50. I also picked up some gourmet kitty food and toys here. Easy parking. Service is slow as there was only one cashier and a long line. Please come and create your own adventure.

i had such a great conversation with one of the workers i totally didnt catch her name, darn! BUT. she does have an eyebrow piercing which is what drew me in in the first place. she was so helpful with finding me vegetarin dog food even though i wanted vegan dog food. pretty sure they only sell it online. oh well! 10/10 experience, must visit again.

The Petco store itself is great and I love the selection there. The only reason I'm giving the location a more negative review is because of a recent grooming visit we had that was a little lackluster. For $100, my dog came out with hair still in her eyes, a choppy body, and uneven legs. I had to go back to get the hair cut away from her eyes--something I had explicitly asked for. I've never seen my dog have such a bad haircut and am kinda aghast, honestly! It looks like only parts of her body were cut and others weren't. Super expensive and truly a hilariously bad haircut. I don't know!

Worst haircut ever. My sweet long haired dog, absolutely ruined.

I took my dog here for a haircut and grooming and they absolutely botched her. We wanted a trim and for her to get a sanitary cut, and they quite literally shaved my dog, except for her head and tail when I picked her up I actually was dying laughing because I had never seen such a horrible haircut in my life. When we asked for a refund based on our dissatisfaction, they said the only way we could get a refund was if we never came back again... Granted we would never want to come back again after these results! Don't go here, protect your pets, friends.

Honestly, does it even look like the dog just came from grooming at all?

Honestly, does it even look like the dog just came from grooming at all? I brought both of my dogs in for grooming and paid for the extra face trim. I specifically requested that the hair around their paws be cleaned up. However, when I picked them up, there was no visible trimming done on their faces, paws, or belly area

this poor dog...

THIS PLACE SUCKS.... If I can give this place zero stars, I WOULD. First of all, customer service sucks, SOOOO impolite, took FOREVER. Second, they cut MUCHHH more then we asked for, she got shaved between her eyes, and hair is cut unevenly... now she looks like a rat, and when we asked the manager for a refund, she was soooo sassy... I hate this place, don't go and was your money.

I wish I could give them zero stars. We have been taking our dog to various Petco grooming centers for years, but our recent experience at Culver Irvine was awful. The staff behaved aggressively towards our dog right from the moment we handed her over. They charged us for a full grooming package, which was supposed to include anal gland expression, but they didn't perform this service and didn't inform us about it. When I asked about it, they claimed that our dog didn't allow them to do it and tried to bite them. This is impossible because she's used to having this done monthly, and we've never encountered similar issues at other Petco groomers or our veterinarian's office. After reading other reviews, it appears that this might be a tactic they use to skip their responsibilities and return pets to their owners sooner to accommodate more clients. This is ridiculous and unacceptable behavior for a professional grooming service.

Great experience! We have an 8-year-old rescue Golden…read moreRetriever who developed some habits we wanted to correct and weren't able to do on our own with traditional training. A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. I have my freedom back, and Cash is happier and more relaxed because of it. If you're struggling with separation anxiety, behavioral issues, or just want a better relationship with your dog, I can't recommend Brad enough. The impact has been life-changing.

Watching Instagram and YouTube videos won't give you a well-behaved dog. Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!

While it's understandable to feel upset when receiving negative feedback, it's important to reflect on the reasons behind my review. I noticed that during our initial interaction, you made a comment about my background that many found to be a stereotypical and racist remark. In fact, I saw that you previously posted video footage of our encounter on your Instagram, but you removed it after receiving backlash for those comments. This indicates that others found your remarks concerning as well. I want to emphasize that my intention was never to harm your business; rather, it was to share my experience. Thankfully, I have since found another trainer who practices positive reinforcement, which aligns much better with my values and my dog's needs.

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.
