    Cheap-ish cat litter at Petco

I like Petco but I usually prefer Petsmart. I find Petco to be have a bit more cluttered look and perhaps more "scented" compared to Petsmart. But here I am and I decided to pick up a few treats for the felines and canines that I have back home. The shop also offers stuff for other types of pets including birds and fish. The store is organized and the prices are clear. A helpful clerk was able to help me with one of the items I'd purchased, even though I think that she was heading off on break. Ringing up my purchase was quick with no wait.

    valentine's day you!

Here is what we asked for

I came in to get my yorkie a haircut. When I arrived, I pulled up the pictures to show to the groomer exactly what we're looking to do. We probably spent 3 minutes talking exclusively about exactly how we wanted it cut. I explained that all we wanted on his head was to shape up the bottom of his jaw and trim around his eyes. The rest of his head we wanted to be completely left alone. She proceeded to do a hack job on the top of his hair, Completely trim his whole face, and left a bunch of random lose Hairs that are four times longer than the rest of his hair around his ears. Luckily the manager asked how it looked when we arrived, but there's no way to undo the fact that all of his hair was completely cut off. She even understood what the problem was immediately and said "oh, so you just wanted a regular Yorkie cut." Yes. That's why we brought our yorkie in and showed a bunch of pictures of yorkies. Unfortunately I had already paid before picking him up, but there was no mention of satisfaction guarantee or a refund or a discount. She simply said that next time we bring him and make sure she was the one that cut the hair instead of one of her employees.

We have three cats that see Rachel, Dawn, and Dr. Houlihan. For those reviewers giving negative reviews because they can't be seen... human doctors are the same and can't accommodate every new patient immediately (especially if they're good). Why don't you book an appointment for the future, come in, and then leave a fair review? We had to continue seeing a vet we did not love until we could get our cats in here. Again, well worth the wait. They are accommodating, fair, and compassionate. I love the parking lot which is rare in Birmingham. The walk to the door is a few feet from your car. It's quiet inside (unless there is another verbal kitty patient). The techs and doctor sit on the cat's level (the floor). They really make them feel comfortable. More than one pet parent can be in the room which is important to us. You can even hold your kitty and take them back to get blood drawn or nails clipped. We never feel rushed or like a number here. Grateful to have our pets as patients here.

I highly recommend coming here. They even sent us home with a few toys all in all probably the best experience I've had at a vet.

Back when I lived on a 40-acre ranch in Northern California, I had plenty of space and other dogs around to help with the process. When my wife and I were fostering dogs in Michigan, she fell in love with a Miniature Pinscher mix named Obi. He was different from any dog I'd trained before, and without other dogs to help with training, it was a challenge. We needed Obi to be able to travel the world with us and assist my wife with her PTSD. Within six weeks, Fred from The Dog Wizard trained us on how to make Obi an incredible companion. The transformation was night and day. Now, Obi walks calmly by our side unless given the 'free' command. He accompanies us to stores, ignoring everything and everyone around him. One of his biggest issues was reacting to other dogs on leash--no longer a problem! Recently, we visited a crowded cider mill with hundreds of kids running around. Obi stayed calmly by my feet, unaffected by the chaos. Kids asked to pet him, and I explained he was working. I can't say enough good things about Fred; he's like family now. What he did for us truly means the world to me."
