First service went pretty well, they replaced a Turbo under warranty for my daughters Sonic. Decided to take it back due to some misfire and oil burning and after this time I will never have her take it here again. They have no loaners available and take forever to do diagnostics. They are extremely difficult to get ahold of and from talking to them over the phone seem to want to just run up the clock for more money. Had daughters car for a week and did basically nothing, didn't check the plugs, coil pack, cylinder compression etc. Said they cant recreate the problem. Code showed what the problem was and that it happened. Its a 1.4L Turbo, takes all of 30 min. to check everything I just listed to rule those out. Daughter is stationed at NAS and has been unable to get a rental due to her age, makes it pretty difficult for her to get back and forth from school let alone get around after. Seeing all of the negative reviews for service I now see why. EDIT--Daughter picked up car and they charged her $130 to plug in a scan tool and do nothing else. If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely unacceptable from a Chevy dealer to not be able to diagnose their own vehicles. Probably the easiest motor to work on as well. I would be fixing this myself if I wasnt across the country from her. read more

Extremely Happy with Pete Moore Service Dept! Our advisor Rhett Arnett exceeded our expectations. He quickly worked us in for service, and communicated with us every step of the way. They were able to repair an issue with our 2023 Corvette that we have been dealing with for over 8 months! beware! I just got off the phone with some woman in service. she was pretty unhelpful. nasty to be honest. I was trying to get my vehicle in for a service on the suspension/ steering and had a day scheduled but was told they would need it for a few days. seeing as that's out only vehicle I asked about a loaner. well, I was transferred to another woman who was less helpful. here's what I was told, the appointment date is a "drop off" date, not necessarily the day of service. it could be DAYS before they even look at it, not to mention the time to do the actual repairs. I've never heard of this before, lol. so then I asked about a loaner and was told they only have 7 and they are booked for a month, that this was how they do it. another lol moment. ok, at this point I decided to take my business elsewhere, which is what I recommend to whoever is considering taking their car there for any real repairs. what a joke. should be named Pete Less. Was told it would cost $4,000 ( from Pete Moore) Took it to have it looked at somewhere else and was not even close to what i was advised by Pete Moore Chevrolet. Took my truck in for service on Monday, today is Friday. Not one call back from the dealership service department after two calls. Called back this morning and got another voice mail. If they don't have it ready today I am going to go get my truck back. Be careful when receiving routine maintenance by the Service Department. I went in for an oil change and they came out with four other items that I needed to have done immediately. One was for a front end alignment. I took it to a reputable alignment business in Pensacola, only to find out that I did not require an alignment. I was not charged for this service, but would have most certainly had been charged by Pete Moore. Don't hesitate to get a second opinion and be skeptical when they tell you other services and required. read more

I purchased a set of brand new tires for my Escalade and decided to have them perform a front end alignment on my vehicle. 5 weeks later the inner tread on my tires was severely worn on a brand new set of tires. I went in to buy a used truck. Drove it, was ready to buy it. Not in a hurry so left while he decided what my trade in would be. Buyer beware!!! They have internet advertised prices but when you go in to purchase the car they will tell you there was a glitch and that is not the real price!! In the words of the sales manager Dennis "you don't believe everything on the internet, do you?" as his reason for not honoring the internet price. Fun fact: after assuring me they knew nothing about "the glitch" and were working very hard to get it fixed, 8 hours later it's still there trying to bait someone to come in and be fleeced. Very poor communication. Made an appointment for my car. Brought it in at the correct time. Was told 2-3 days or so for a diagnosis. Multiple calls after 5 days and never returned call. Finally was told maybe another day or so until diagnosis. 3 more days with no return phone calls. If I could give zero stars I would. My car was sitting at this crap hole for 6 weeks where they were supposed to fix absolutely everything wrong with my car. I get the car back and the floor is completely SOAKED and newly rusted, smelling like mildew and mold. they told me the rust would have happened before BUT due to the car being there for SIX weeks the rust formed from being there. AND I have a headlight out. Im extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. I was without a car for over a month and not much to show for it. Quoted me a week for repairs, 3 weeks later with no fixes confirmed they got hit by a storm that blew a garage bay door into my car. Totaled the vehicle, but they continued to "work" on the vehicle before the adjuster came to inspect it. Informed me their insurance would cover it and 3 weeks later when I called to follow up was told it's not their claim to make. Had to file my own claim, taking the insurance hit cause they wouldn't do ANYTHING to help. THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY TO FOLLOW UP WITH. They sent the bill to my insurance company for the original repairs $3,800 that were not authorized after the damage happened. Have had no contact or update from them. Working with a lawyer to try and recoup some costs but this is the absolute worse place of any BUSINESS I have ever seen. Avoid this shop and avoid Marilyn if you're forced to go here cause every call she ever made was bad news of them messing up (ordering a bad part) or a flat out lie. She said there was no need to call my insurance. She finally offered a rental car after refusing to give me one on the original request, but then could not figure out how to get it set up with their contract (didn't try before giving up). Spent over $1,000 on rental cars before giving up and just ubering everywhere. DO NOT GET YOUR WORK DONE HERE. read more

July 21, 2018 I took it into Pete Moore and had one of the best customer service, auto repair experiences of my car buying life. Fast forward July 21, 2020 the handle broke again and the trim became loose. No worries, I took it back to Pete Moore expected good the same great service. My service rep ( Christa) was wonderful but that is where the praises stop. The parts where order 07/30/20, arrived 08/06/20. I was told to have my car there 08/10/20 at 8am. As of noon 08/12/20 my car had not even been looked at. I received a phone call 08/13/20 stating the the tech was "catching he'll" with my convertible top because apparently he had never worked on one. (I was over the impression that "dealerships "'any employed certified trained technicians, silly me) Finally I was called 9:30am telling me that my car was ready. Upon arrival I discovered that my ignition key had be broken and a new one was cut however no one bothered to program it to the car so that you could actually crank the car with it. Well I let the top down and drive my car home where it has been in the garage until today. While washing my car I discovered that the sensor which prevents you from opening the the truck when the top is not fully up or down no longer works unless the top is down so I cannot open my truck when the top is up. I went to the bank and got a cashiers check for the remainder of the balance and then when I showed up to finish the sale, the salesman tried to get another $1000 dollars out of me for my trade in. Plus they had only been authorize to fix problem they put on a thirty dollar air filter I didn't ask for and charged me. They charged 150 for a part which could of gotten cheaper online. Then tell my son it's the law to charge a set rate for labor. I'm getting really tired of service company saying it's the law. If you have a set law then you better have it posted. Outstanding Service! My husband is in the navy and was in Pensacola for school. I flew down for graduation so we could drive back to Virginia together. The day of his graduation a check engine light came on. Pete Moore was able to squeeze us in and provide us with transportation so that our only night in town wasn't ruined. On Friday Sept. 13, 2019 I had an appointment at 0745 to bring my 2016 Silverado 1500 in because the rearview camera was not working and a recall on the brakes. I instructed the service rep to call me when they checked it out. I called 4 times throughout the day to get an update on my truck and being promised each time they would have the service rep call me back. I finally reached the service rep at approximately 4:00 and was told they had not checked the truck out. I asked why it had not been checked by this time seeing I had a 7:45 appointment. He laughed and said we have vehicles still in the parking lot from Wednesday that have not been serviced. I asked what the purpose of me making an appointment if they were not going to look at my truck. His reply was so I could tell him what was wrong with the truck. I told him I told Pete Morning service department what was wrong with the truck when I made the appointment. I told him this was totally unacceptable and poor customer service especially that had to call 4 times to get information. I sent my son to Pete Moore to pick up the truck at 4:45 and when he arrived, they would not release the tuck until the recall was completed. Took them over 9 hours to do a 15 min. recall. The service rep also told my son they could not find anything wrong with the rearview camera. But as my son was leaving with the truck he put it to reverse and the camera was not working and when he showed it to the service rep. the service rep let it slip and said oh we know that, " We have a print out showing it doing that" . Hmmmm Imagine that..... I have bought 3 trucks from Pete Moore over the past few years and If this is how they feel about their customers, they will not have to worry about me buying or servicing another truck with them. Let me start by saying I work a full time job as a teacher and I have a part time job after school. They wouldn't order my new side mirror unless I was there in person so finally on an off afternoon I went in and got an estimate and went to go order my part. I tell him driver side mirror and right before he finishes my order he asks me again and I tell him driver side. I go back to collision and the lady informs me I don't have to make an appointment any time I can come up there and there will be someone to take of my car. I only get one night off a week and on my one night off I had a booster club meeting. The only way to come in was to leave work early. I get there and the guy is 20 minutes late to clocking back in. 30 minutes after that they inform me they ordered the wrong part. I now have to take another 2 hours off work to come back in on Fri to have them hopefully put on the right mirror, which i still have to pay the labor costs. So I lost 4 hours of pay because they didn't do their job. On top of that I emailed the GM about it and he chose not to respond to my email. They don't care about how their bad business affects the life of their customers. EDIT: Changed from 1 star to 4. The guy in charge of the collision center contacted me and did everything in his power to make sure I received top notch customer service and had a significantly more positive second experience. I was told they did it before i gave consent and now I have a bill. I tried to talk to the GM and he pushed me off to another person. I left that persona voicemail. I purchased an used car from him and then returned to buy myself a new car trading in the Tahoe I had purchased there years back. Took my daughter so that she could buy her car as well and of course, made sure she bought it from Wayne Freeman. Unfortunely, I had to move from Pensacola and I returned to Puerto Rico. I am submitting this survey from my new home in Puerto Rico. Unfortunely, I was not able to bring my new Traverse because I would have been charged too much money to get it out of the port once it arrived to the island. I was not able to afford it, so again, I went to Wayne Freeman so I could sell it back to the dealer. Again, he was amazing and he made this process very easy. I always did my maintenance service at PM service center and there, as well, I was always treated with the upmost professionalism. I had Christine helping me several times throughout the years, but I also would be attended by others. All attendants were amazing. If I ever return back to Pensacola, I can guarantee, that if I need to purchase another vehicle I will return to Pete Moore and if Wayne Freeman is still there, I will make sure he is my salesman. ***UPDATE*** I was contacted by my service advisor Josh at Pete Moore yesterday. He expressed his sincere concern for my recent bad experience from the service department. I am very pleased to inform everyone that he and the service manager were genuinely concerned after reading about my experience on yelp and through there survey. They did everything in their power to make things right. They immediately arranged to have a complete 4 tire alignment repair and premium car wash performed on my truck. Josh also loaned me a nice SUV from their lot to drive while my trucks alignment was being repaired along with a full inside and out detail and wax. I dropped off my truck at 8:30 this morning, they had it turned around and ready for me to pick up in under 3 hours!! My truck drives and turns great after the alignment fix and it has a showroom detail, all FREE of charge. I can't express how much it means to me considering the great lengths Josh and the Pete Moore service team went in order to fix my bad experience. They have more than re-gained my trust and I will continue to use them for all services on my Silverado and highly recommend them to others!!! Absolutely 5 STAR service today!
