This place is a CASH only establishment. There is an ATM inside if in case you forget though. I only had their Belgian Hot Chocolate and I am very pleased that they made it just the way I expected. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We ended up staying to chat for 2.5 hours There are a few bakery items which pairs well with coffee. They played music and is as quiet as their customers make it. There's also street parking available on both sides and the meter runs from 10am-6pm that takes coins and card. I would definitely love to come visit again and inquire about their "witch is in" sign.

I've been here a few times now and have been happy with my coffee. Recently, I ordered the Cloud 9 iced latte with oat milk. It had the perfect combination of chocolate and coconut flavors, and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet. My Fiancé had the Witches Brew hot coffee and thought the flavors of caramel, chocolate, and hazelnut was perfectly balanced. Although the quality of the coffee is satisfying, I took a star off because they're cash only and they lack obvious signage upon entry for this.

Delicious coffee, fast friendly service, convenient location and hours, comfortable seating. My only gripe is that none of the pastries or desserts looked appealing. Also, it would have helped if they had been labeled - it was annoying to try to guess what they could be, and i didn't want to ask about every single one. So I ended up not ordering any at all. It's fun though that they have a used book shelf . My cell phone had died so I picked a book off the shelf to read while sipping my coffee, and ended up buying it. Good variety of fiction and non-fiction. My find: "How to Raise Kids Who Aren't Assholes".

Great coffee drink selection, you will want to try everything. We have the Warlock and the Witches Brew. Both delicious. Made with DaVinci Syrups. The shop is small and kind of an underground feel, very eleclectic. Love the espresso drinks!!!!

My partner and I made a weekend trip up to Middletown to look at apartments - he's moving for a new job and we wanted to check out the area. Middletown is much quieter than what we're used to (NYC), but I am a big fan of the suburbs. I was expecting a small town feel, and was rewarded with just that. It was one of those quiet beginning of summer weekend's when the university is out of session and the college town returns back to tranquility for a bit before the rowdy co-eds with their macbooks and sweatshirts ramble back in. Outside were three older women outside enjoying the sun and laughing at some fond memory. Inside it was quiet with the Rastafarian baristas taking it easy. It definitely smelled a bit musty inside, but I liked that natural trait to it. The tea selection was vigorous - from a company called "Republic of Tea". The prices were also not variable - just $2.50 per teabag, $4 for a two teabag bundle. The inside was adorned with photographs/pieces of art against purple walls. Cartographer aficionados will find joy with the bathroom walls - adorned with random maps from all over, my favourite being a winery/brewery tour. Overall, I liked the place and am excited that my partner and I will be spending slow weekends here trying out the many teas.

This is one of my absolute favorite cafés ever! During non-pandemic times, they feature local musicians every so often throughout the month, and usually have a bustling atmosphere. They also feature art by local creatives (which can be purchased) on their walls and shelves. It's an edgy and eclectic vibe.

I love all the unique artwork & window paintings, it's so unique inside!

Klekolo is such a unique coffee shop. The decor inside is very artsy-hippie-ish so it's right up my alley. They have local artwork & crafts displayed for sale & funky furniture for seating. The menu has a lot of different flavored coffee options, which isn't really my thing, but all the options sound delicious if you like your coffee sweet & flavored. I'm more of purist when it comes to coffee/tea, so I picked a yummy peach green tea from their tea wall, which is packed with tons of different types of tea canisters to choose from. I was so happy to find out their hours are different than most coffee shops in the area. They're open till 10PM weekdays & midnight on Fridays & Saturdays! So if you're a night owl or are looking to have tea/coffee after dinner in Middletown it's the perfect spot.

We came upon this shop a bit by accident but it was a happy accident. Note - it is cash only but they quite cleverly have their own ATM. The space is kind of funky and the big draw for us was the wide selection of tea. Brilliantly, tea is charged by the bag and not by the size of the cup (the way tea should be charged in my opinion). The man working behind the counter was helpful in suggesting tea that would fit our tastes. It seems like there was also a wide selection of coffee and other beverages for a variety of pallets. I would happily come back here to try the pastries which looked particularly appetizing. Great tea and good vibes.

    Do you take ApplePay?

HI sorry we do not take Apple Pay we are cash only. There is an atm and 2 banks right near us.

How are the prices? I'm usually into iced coffee but I don't see the prices of drinks on the pics of the menu.

small thru large , large $2.50, most large latte, $5 I think $3 or less for a large iced coffee. Go check it out for your self.

Probably one of the coolest ice cream experiences that I've had. For those who don't know, Nitro Cream & Crumbz makes there ice cream for you on the spot using Liquid Nitrogen blenders. It essentially freezes the mix on the spot. A cool process that yields much creamier ice cream (that I read and in person confirmed). This isn't just your typical ice cream scoop and plop experience. During the experience, cool smoke from the liquid nitrogen fills the area as they stir your selected ice cream flavor. The process of the employees adding the ingredients is done all within your line of sight for a full investment into your delicious treat. The flavors are FUN and the end result is visually appealing to eat. I myself got the HOLY CANNOLI which had Riccota vanilla ice cream, crushed cannoli shell, dark chocolate and white chocolate chips wrapped in a spongy bubble waffle. It was delicious and creamy (as you hope from doing your homework on Liquid Nitrogen ice cream ). The staff were extremely friendly, bubbly even and helped explain popular options for a first time Nitro ice cream eater. Best part of this whole thing is having so many other great flavors left to try on my next trip. Highly recommend and prices are VERY reasonable (some might argue a little low for the experience you get).

Today a group of Yelpers met here before our street clean up and had our breakfast outside. They had options from the bakery window such as donuts and bars, muffins to breakfast sandwiches and bowls. It's located near Main Street in downtown Middletown. The shop is cute and service was exceptional. CRB sells desserts, baked goods, bread and made to order cakes. Although I posted a pic of 3 year old Lila's birthday cake, it was not my cake and I wasn't invited to the party. Lila apparently didn't think I was cool enough. Maybe next year. Very cool cake though. I would want one of my friends or family members to have a cake that cute. I also did not have one of the Super Bowl team color cake push pops. I tried to order one, but they were only displayed for pre-sale. They looked great though. We did order a turtle brownie, a salted caramel bar, a blueberry muffin, a churro bar and a loaf of rye bread. Our family split a number of these things. I thought the brownie, caramel bar and blue berry muffin were all terrific. The bread and churro bar didn't really connect for me. The bread was not what I would call a traditional rye. It was denser and seemed a touch pumpernickelly in flavor. CRB had other breads that looked good though. The churro bar didn't remind me enough of a churro to warrant the name and there was a dense cheesecake type layer that needed more of an identity. Overall, there was more great, than not great though. I would definitely recommend Cake Batter & Roll if you're in Middletown. They have some tasty desserts and they can make gorgeous stuff. Four Stars

I was excited when I saw Tswirl Crepe open as the South End of Main Street lacks much of a dessert scene. Tswirl Crepe offers Japanese crepes with their crepes made out of rice flour batter. They also have healthier options including lunch and dinner options with tuna, salmon, beef, chicken and vegetables. I got the banana chocolate crepe, which was good. It had a combination of whipped yogurt, chocolate custard chunks and granola topped with chocolate sauce and slices of bananas. Tasty! However, the crepe was also about $10, which isn't cheap for that type of item. However, the quality of the crepe was good, so that the price more palatable. The service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was very crowded. Altogether, Tswirl Crepe is a nice, new edition to Main Street in Middletown and I'll likely be there again!

First thing I noticed was their sign saying most of the sweets are handmade, customized, and one-of-a-kind and you can really tell. Everything feels unique, not your typical copy-and-paste dessert spot. Let's get into the drinks because that's what brought me in I tried the Singapore rose with kiwi boba super delicate, floral, and lightly sweet. It's one of those drinks that feels refreshing but still has flavor. The kiwi boba gave it that little pop of tangy kick that made it even better. I also tried the dragon fruit tea with passionfruit boba; this one was giving tropical vibes all the way Light, slightly sweet, and really smooth. The passionfruit boba actually enhanced the tea instead of overpowering it, which I loved. And can we talk about the options here?!
