I was nervous, but they numbed it so I didn't feel a thing, just slight prick and pressure beforehand! And the nail bed is thankfully not infected, just slight bleeding. Doc applied an ointment, gauze and self-adhesive bandage wrap. I only have to keep it on a week, changing it out every 24 hours! He said nail will grow back in 1 year. The nurses were sweet to our fussy toddler and gave her a teddy bear to keep her entertained while mommy was busy! It doesn't hurt to ask, they had fidget spinners and blew bubbles for her as well! I'd recommend this location, great, professional doctor and staff! I love UC Davis Health, so I'll be back for routine shots, etc! SYOY! :-)

The office is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. As he is a pain management Dr you will occasionally see a person disgruntled for various reasons (usually because they are seeking drugs or have found some small reason to be irate... most patients are in pain so I'm not trying to judge) and I'd imagine that the negative reviews here are a direct result of either of those conditions. First off, as pain management doctors one would think prescribing pain meds would be standard and required medicine for chronic pain patients but not the case with Hendrickson & Hunt, dropping their patients and refusing to treat them and saying good luck trying to find another doctor and good luck dealing with your pain in the meantime, and refusing to provide a referral despite the fact they said several times that they would provide the referral. Very bad service, heartless and callous towards their patients suffering from pain (violates the Hippocratic oath), refusing to treat or help them, and so I would recommend avoiding them.

I have gone a few times for general adjustments when I feel a bit off. The adjustments always seem to get me back to 100%. Recently I went for an issue with my elbow. Between weights and jiu jitsu I get pretty torn up. Dr. M was able to fix this up also. She has the skill and equipment to fix you up. She is priced really fairly.
