Robert the Manager is doing an AWESOME JOB on a Friday night. Clean, happy, everything available, everything working, checked prices for what was more convenient for me when I asked without hesitation and with a line building. He graciously took care of me without making me feel rushed and he checked up on customers in between lines. I went for my Grandsons birthday party and everyone was so friendly. Our party host was so cheerful and had such an amazing attitude! The sad fact is that I really liked the variety of games and the fact that there was so much my 4yr old daughter could do and enjoy. That being said... And this is a big "that being said"... I got two slices of sausage pizza from the buffet yesterday and I got very sick. I vomited in the middle of the night and was on the toilet every 15 mins from 9pm to 11am today. I was halfway through the second slice when I noticed the meat was rancid. My first bite was fine, my second bite tasted a little like a smelly armpit smells; and the third bite tasted unmistakably like rancid, bad meat. I immediately spit it out and told my daughter to stop eating. This must be fixed immediately. I went back to warn other customers; but that pizza was already eaten. I wonder how many parents and kids are spending their Xmas break (which is hard enough on parents) sitting on or, God forbid, bent over a toilet. I've literally never in 40yrs had this happen to me. This PPP looks brand new and not too busy. I have never been to PPP, so I can only compare it to my hometown Chuck E Cheese - which is also fairly new. It's cafeteria - like dining, plenty of seating in long rows and booths. No stage or general show. Overhead the commons area there were three screens with sports. Not that I enjoy having one responsible parent completely distracted from their kids. Less games and less prize selection. Games are varying prices (unlike CEC), but they are updated games. When you're in a pinch to find a place for a kid's birthday, look no further. We decided we were going on the same day we actually went with no issues. I've been to this location a couple of times and can't really complain about much. Granted, our party was pretty small compared to most kid's parties; It was just some close family. But my daughter had a blast and that's what counts. With only $5 worth of tokens she was able to be occupied for about an hour; mostly runnin' around in sheer glee at everything to see and play. She even won the strength contest where, if you hit the sensor just right with the mallet, but not too hard, you get 250 tickets!! I know, most of the toys you get here are huge ripoffs you can just buy for less than the amount you spend at these places, but it's more about the experience for the kids. I haven't had Peter Piper Pizza in 40 years. There just aren't many PPP Store's around. I ordered two single topping pies. One with original crust, the other thin crust. Both with extra sauce. Both pizzas were really good. I couldn't tell much difference in the two crusts but they were both good. PPP is much better than the more well known pizza chains. The pizza though I feel a little so-so about. I love my pizzas extra super duper cheesy with just the right amount of sause and toppings. They perfected that... BUT the pizza did taste like salt. I thought it was just ke but I overheard others their for the party complaining of the same thing. I've been to this location several times and have not been disappointed so far. The pizza always comes out crispy with the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce. Can't go wrong with my personal fav, the Chicago classic with a side of ranch! The buffet is ok but I think the quality of pizza is better on non-buffet hours. The staff is always friendly and there are arcades for the kiddos. The best thing about this location? Its always empty! Back in EP, you were lucky to find a PPP that wasn't jammed packed with a long wait time. My only gripe is that I will soon be moving to Austin/Pflugerville and this is the closest location.
