An outstanding breakfast experience. The hospitality shown by ownership and staff was heartwarming. The avocado toast with pouched eggs and blueberry tart was carefully put together with attention to detail. Dough is flown in from Germany and baked onsite. The coffees were best ever from a local roaster. Come hungry and order everything!! Quaint cafe ambiance transported us to Europe.

Went here for a Saturday morning breakfast. A quick break from the newly returned Farmers Market. This was my first time but my wife has been before. Lots of seating. More outside (street and courtyard) than inside. We both had the breakfast sandwich and coffee. I had a large. Large is large! The sandwich was very good. There are a lot of choices for the bread you can have. We had croissants. The owner - Marika, brought our food out to us. She is so nice. After eating the sandwiches, I ordered a "fresh out of the oven" piece of Raspberry Strawberry Pie. Excellent! Sorry, no pictures of the food. I was so hungry I wasn't thinking. Next time.

Awesome family business that welcomes you in and provides fresh, flavorful bites. The croissants are always so fresh and as a sandwich with egg, ham, and cheese is fantastic. Love the coffee and cold brew. So appreciate their friendly service and it feels good supporting the local business instead of the big chains.

Absolutely lovely little cafe with the sweetest staff. Everyone is kind and attentive. Coffee is always very hot. The blueberry cake and bagels have been our favorites so far.

We come here every time we visit our parents in Fort Myers! The German couple that owns it is the absolute cutest and kindest. Support this awesome local business! When you walk in, you'll be greeted by their bright and airy space - and big smiles! The woman owner and her team are always an absolute joy and radiating energy. It's contagious! I loooove that they offer gluten free options! Gluten free bread for your breakfast sammies, gluten free rotating pastries, etc. I had GF banana bread this last time and it was great! My family members LOVE their breakfast sandwiches. Whether you get it on a bagel, toast, or get lucky and have one of their pretzel pastries - you'll love it. Customizable and SO affordable! Their beverages are awesome too. I've had matcha and chai here, but the real winners are their cold brews and iced lattes. The iced pistachio cold brew is unreal! I love their diner-style tables and chairs, and we always sit in the al fresco patio area attached. It's one of my favorite stops in DTFM every time :)

Get the Dubai chocolate cake! The frosting is some of the best I've ever had. Such a cute spot in downtown fort myers. Not sure how I've missed it after all these years. Great selection of different coffee drinks. Huge muffins and sandwich selections. Lovely people at the register.

Very nice, sweet lady took my order. I ordered the Lye Triangle and a decaf Americano. The coffee was hot and tasted great. The triangle was sort of a cross between a pretzel and scone with no sweetness. The coffee shop was like a diner very clean and bright. I will definitely come back especially to try more pastries. Wait...I could help myself, I went back for the Blueberry Cake and it was wonderful!

Service was exceptional, I believe it was one of the owners the lady was very sweet and you could tell really cares about her store, customers, and her craft. She had a fresh German cheesecake and said she couldn't sell it just yet because it would mess it up. It needed time to sit, she wasn't willing to make a quick sale because the item wouldn't be as she saw fit. I tried the Tiramisu/caramel iced coffee mix which was good and just sweet enough with barely any cream added. Their base coffee taste was good. I also tried the vanilla and strawberry ice creams which were very good as well. The store has a happy vibe. Would love to come back if I was in the area again.

Every time I'm in town this place is a must! It's run by the sweetest German couple who are always so welcoming and kind when we come in. They have incredible pretzels that can be used as buns on the breakfast sandwiches and some amazing pastries. The coffee is delicious and I tried the pistachio one this time because I love anything pistachio and it did not disappoint. They have a cute patio off the side perfect to enjoy the morning with a little food and coffee.

It was awesome! This is an amazing little find downtown fort myers. Inside/outside seating, friendly/helpful staff and good eats. Loved the brick walls and seating area. I had a gluten free avocado toast and a cappuccino. I am definitely going back. Very nice!

make your own sandwiches, chai latte, and pistachio cold brew

super cute place with great food!! the sandwich i got was so delicious the croissant bread on it was so yummy! I got the chai latte too and it was really really good. Better than any chai latte ive had at starbucks or anything. The two girls working were also super kind and welcoming and had a great positive and bubbly attitude. They delivered our food to us in the outdoor seating and it was super cute! Overall loved this place.

    Bacon, Onion Quiche 5 stars

Very loud, sound reverberates. Not cozy but old-time whimsy. Linoleum floors, brick walls, red/white contemporary ice cream' parlor furniture. Ice-cream looks amazing, will come back to try. Place has good coffee but my caramel latte was way too sweet. Cashier/client need to voice requests when ordering coffee anywhere am learning...( 1/2 pumps of sweetness. The homemade Onion Bacon Quiche I had was phenomenal!! I read that they offer Whole Cakes for sale! Offer made-from-scratch delectables like muffins, regular and small cakes...a few other items...lovely little establishment. Recommend visiting

Since there is no more ice cream there is no reason for me to go back. The menu is very small.

Not just okay, but the kind of coffee that gives you the boost you need to get through the day. And if you plan to stay, the space matters just as much. It should feel welcoming and comfortable, with enough room to work, meet, catch up, or simply slow down for a while. What makes the story of Chocolattés even more meaningful is where it began. In 2003, Chocolattés opened inside HealthPark Medical Center, a place where most people probably don't wish to spend their day. Yet, one cup of coffee at a time, they found a way to uplift visitors, staff, and families during some of life's more difficult moments. Over the next 12 years, Chocolattés expanded to all four major hospitals, bringing that same experience to even more people. Today, with two locations in Southwest Florida, that story has evolved into something you can enjoy outside the hospital walls. And the coffee? This is craft coffee in every sense of the word. Their beans are roasted in-house, and there is almost a science behind how they create each cup. You can tell there is intention behind what they serve. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but I think Chocolattés is one of those places where you can justify it whether you're treating yourself to a really good cup of coffee or need something a little extra to get you through a long day at work. Our go-to orders? I always try a Mocha at a new spot - the taste did not disappoint! Really delicious and well made, I have a few "special order asks", oat milk, half sweet, etc. And the barista did well. 4/5 due to price. I paid nearly $11 for a mocha that I pay $5 at Dean's, within the Luminary downtown (which is organic coffee) and even Starbucks is $8 something. Too pricey for local coffee when there is lots of new competition out there!
