We ordered two pizzas.as we had guests for supper. When I opened the box after the delivery person left, the pizza was in a corner all mushed together. I tried to separate the pizza but it was too hard as the cheese stuck together It seems like the pizza was carried on its side. I have never received a pizza in this condition before. I called Peter's Pizza the next day and they were not helpful unless I had taken a picture. There was no gracious refund or sorry that it happened. I was very disappointed. I can't afford to have a delivery like that again so I will not be recommending this establishment. read more

Remember when a friend asked you to try something different, like pate or caviar or snails? You're hesitant, reluctant, even afraid. But then you try it, and WOW, it's great! Peter's is like that. In a world full of Greek pizza joints, this one stands out. We've tried Peter's several times and have not been disappointed yet. Their dinners are large and delicious. The chicken kabob is really three pieces of chicken breast, perfectly grilled and seasoned, with an ample side salad and nicely seasoned rice pilaf. It out performs many restaurant dishes, at half the price. Their hot roast beef is the best outside of Billy's in Melrose. The pizzas are Greek, but very good if you enjoy that style. Calzones are perfectly cooked, with a nice char to the outside. We ordered a large tuna sub that could have fed three people! Pure white tuna, loaded into a crusty sub roll, with a healthy amount of lettuce and tomato. They do tend to fill their subs up, which puts them so far ahead of Subway. On top of all that, the place is very clean compared to other area pizza shops. The counter people are helpful and friendly, as are the delivery men. DO NOT give your business to this establishment. By far the most disrespectful, foul-mouthed employees I've ever seen. The bald guy who runs the cooking line screams at the woman ringing up orders in words you can't even fathom. Not only is the environment horrific I have been in there 4 times in the past 2 months, and not once have I seen an improvement. They screwed up an order of ours. When returned and were told we needed to pay full price for a replacement. Honest review, we will never return here again for anything. Don't believe me? I received a new flyer in the mail .I am a business on rte 1 in saugus and me and my employees order delivery quiet often. I ordered a lg meat lovers pizza and was listed for a cost of $15.50. delivery guy got here and the cost was $18.00. I called the owner and asked him why. he told me there was a $1.50 Del charge and tax. I asked him if the Del guy gets the $1.50 he told that was his bussiness very rudely. Well anyways the pizza was the worst tasting pizza I have ever had, Sauce was bad ,dough was bad. cheese and meat were minimal.. I was in the restaurant business for 18 yrs. Rude customer service and bad tasting food will never get your customers to come back and never keep you open for very long.. read more

The employees are far from competent, this is due to the fact that I ordered a chicken finger hot sub off of the hot(as in temperature) menu and received a buffalo chicken sub(separate, more expensive sub) instead. That happened twice. plus the fries are soggier that the sub rolls they serve the food on. read more

I ordered from here two weeks ago. Ended up getting 3 large pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, everything) for my family. It was a resonable price to $35 plus the delievery charge. The cheese pizza was burned and hard as a rock. I ended up calling and complaining. The worker said there was nothing he can do about it since the owner made it. I was highly upset since cheese is the ONLY pizza I eat. Then I ended up giving it another shot this afternoon for lunch. This time I got a medium steak and cheese calzone. I told them to add pickles inside. This time it was pricey- around $16 with the delivery charge. When I got it. The pickles were on the side and it was completely burned. I was beyond aggrivated this time. I didnt bother to call and complian. Neatless to say, it was the worst calzone I ever ate. Next time I'd be getting Charle's Pizzeria in Saugus. read more
