I wanted to share a recent experience I had with Peter Plumber to help you avoid similar issues. I called them to change a cartridge for my shower, and the technician quoted me $550, which is much higher than the market rate of $250. He explained the higher cost was due to their warranty, insurance, etc. After some negotiation, he lowered the price to $400 after speaking with his "manager." However, after the work was done, my shower was left dripping. The technician claimed it was a valve issue and said it would cost another $1200 to fix. Concerned, I called another plumber for a second opinion. The new plumber found that the cartridge wasn't installed properly by Peter Plumber's technician, causing the drip. After correctly installing the cartridge, the dripping stopped. I called Peter Plumber multiple times for a refund. Each time, I was told I'd get a call back, but this never happened. On my third call, the representative was very rude and refused to issue a refund, despite my explanation that the initial job was either poorly done or a deliberate upsell attempt. Additionally, I noticed on their Instagram that they prioritize upselling. They post about training their plumbers to make $1 million a year by earning $2739 a day, which suggests their focus is more on sales than good customer service. They also send teams of two people, which likely contributes to their high prices. Please be cautious if you consider using Peter Plumber. Horrible and extremely over priced. They were supposed to run the pipes in the wall to the closet next to it and connect a tankless water heater. When I returned from having to go to work a few hours, the pipes were outside of the wall and around the a/c so I would never be able to move it, electrical exposed, no tie downs anywhere on the pipes, no shut-off which is normally installed on the cold line, and the young inexperienced plumber flooded my house twice by not sodering all the joints before turning the water on. Had to pay another plumber to redo the job after being qouted $500-$550 and being charged $770. In hindsight I should have refused to pay and requested a manger but live and learn. I hired Peter's plumbing on June 26th 2023 after I received a water bill from the city of Miami for $1,100. I knew I must have a water leak. They dug a large hole on the out side of my house where the shutoff valve is located. They didn't use leak detection equipment. so the next day they convinced me the leak was inside the house and of course the price of the work was going up to $7500. I had to give them half of the price, so they have $4275. of my money. They made four big holes in my Livingroom. started tearing up my drywall everywhere in my house. A total disaster. They didn't have any idea what they where doing. They shut off my water and I had to move out of my house. I fired them and hired another plumber. He couldn't believe the damage they had done. He had the right equipment and said the leak was outside not inside. He found the leak and repaired quickly. One month later I'm still repairing the damage these people did to my house. We called Peters Plumbing to diagnose a leak we had in our childrens closet. Luis Ortiz came out to perform the inspection. The results were that the leak was coming from our master bedroom toilet. We were willing to move forward with the job. Mr. Ortiz informed us to not use the master bathroom until after the repair was complete. We followed his instructions. Mr. Ortiz left the hose that connects to our toilet unhinged and water began to leak into our bedroom under our wood laminate. We called Peter's plumbing as soon as we noticed the leak. They did not know what to do with an S-style shower arm and flange purchased to lower the height for 5 foot me and my dual function hand held shower head. I asked them to remove a bidet that was only attached to hot water, not the toilet. A new bidet had been attached to a new toilet and worked with it. I had to replace an undermount sink as part of a double vanity. Luis came out to install the sink and charged me $800. He cut himself removing the old sink. He was bleeding all over my house. He needed stitches but he insisted on crazy gluing his wound which didn't stop the bleeding. I saw the sink he brought was not correct, but he insisted on installing it. I let him install it just so I could get him out of my house. I had to clean up his blood after he left. I called the office. They wanted me to take out the good sink and replace it with the same model Luis installed. They insisted that my sink was too old and they couldn't find a match. I had to go and find the sink on Amazon myself. It took me 30 minutes to find it. Peter's plumbing still managed to order the wrong sink. It took them 3 months and multiple visits to get the right sink. The correct sink cost $75, Luis claimed $500 of the $800 I paid him was the cost of the sink. Peter's plumbing refuses to refund the difference or credit back anything. Their justification is that they had to come out multiple times like it was my fault. So in summary one of the worse experiences of my life. I ended up waiting for 3 months and paying $800 to install a $75 sink. Not to mention I had to get a service to clean up after Luis who left my floors and walls covered with his blood. Please do not use these guys. Your just asking for pain. We had a $10k repiping job done on our new home and Luis and his team made a complete mess of the propery. Spared no drywall for repair and patchwork (see photos) and used esentially a table knife to cut into the walls. They did no clean up as well. Luis talks a big game over the phone but when we had a leak a week later from the already repaired drywall he dodged our calls. On top of that they were supposed to repair a broken spigot at the house and said they would come back to repair. After calling them they just ignore the phone calls. Go with another company that will actually take care of their customers especially for such a large job. read more

They did alot of work for us at a Multi-Family Apartment Complex because we weren't licensed to do gas work. They came into the laundry room with saws and cut the pipe and caused a flood - 1 1/2 inches of standing water and then refused to clean it up or acknowledge that they caused it. They even charged me extra to do the work once they evaluated and I accepted the extra charges. They are not easy to reach once you have paid in full and they still haven't completely finished the work, expect to have to call several times to get them back out. read more

I am shocked that this company is licensed to do business in Florida. I hired the company to replace the main water shut off valve to my condo unit. They have now come out 3 times to do this work and have been unsuccessful. On all 3 occasions we have had to shut the water off to an entire 48 unit building and they showed up over an hour late and unprepared on all three occasions. As of their last attempt yesterday afternoon I am in worse shape than when they started, I have no water to my unit, damage to the water heater ground line and have not received a call from the owner even after asking repeatedly to speak to him. I called them for service and the girl who answered send 2 guys the same day but they had the Peter's plumbing shirts on with a truck from a rental company the tag # 23B VTU expired 6/25. The guys went in and I explained to them what the problem was" my shower drain is not draining properly ". They look and asked for $275.00 and I told them no. One of them asked me how much do I want to pay and I said $150 if you can fix it. He call the lady and she said yes. After 30 minutes, one of the guy told me that I had a bigger problem and that's going to cost me $750. I replied " you told me $150 and you were going to fix it and now you want $750?". He said take it or leave it and I said no. Now he said I had to give him $150 and said I'm not paying you for wasting my time. He called this guy name Darren, the area supervisor he said, and he said he was coming. This guy called them back and asked to speak to me and I said ok. He came to my house and I told him I was not paying him a penny but he started to brag how he was going to fire those 2 guys and I felt sorry for them and I gave the $150 just to save their job and I also gave them $20 each because I felt sorry for them at that time.
