Came by boat while staying nearby at Vieras from Sacramento. Awesome place. We went two nights in a row, first night just had appetizers and drinks are the bar, second we went for the prime rib. Great food, excellent prices, good service. Be aware of sitting at the bar. Several regulars are rude and usually fairly intoxicated, even prior to coming into Peters. First time visiting Peter's Steakhouse and had a great table at the window. Danny was our server and made us feel very welcome and special. We had the prime rib which is what they are known for. We've since moved far away, but if I get a chance tge few times I visit I always try to stop by and see Danny and his dad! It's a crying shame if you go there an not try any of the prime rib dishes ! Btw,... if you ask, he has been knows to make a killer breaded salmon sticks that are off the hook great and I had to say the whisky breaded pudding- I wish I knew how he does that ! Had a nice little lunch here one day and decided to come here after our wedding! We wanted to take pics in Isleton so we decided to have lunch here as well. I also love the Asian decor that they have in the restaurant. It's super cute. They were really nice about letting us go upstairs to take some pictures on their roof too. Might be a good place to hold a private party sometime. The first time I came in, I had the steak sandwich. This was very good. I would totally have this again. Hubs got the fish and chips and those were pretty tasty. The crawdad sando was also very good. Don't think you could go wrong with any of the sandwiches here. Nice place with a homey feel. Restaurant advertises being open until 4pm for lunch. My wife and I stopped by at 3 pm and the place was closed. Was told by an employee that "the workers needed to eat lunch". I've NEVER been to a restaurant that closes completely down so the staff can eat. What a waste of a drive. read more

We started w/ the crawfish cocktail appetizer & it was as good as we remembered. My husband & i shared the Ribeye. We ordered it medium rare but i think it came out more medium. Also the menu states that its 14 oz & even though i know thats the weight before cooking it seemed a little thin to me. For $49 I'm expecting a perfectly cooked thick steak. Aside from that the flavor was on point so it was seasoned well. We regret not getting the prime rib though. We saw a few of those come out & they looked amazing! & thats what Peter's is known for. Our girls got the prime rib french dips w/ fries. One loved it, the other not so much. I tried it, it was just alright. The aujus is good & the fries are perfectly crispy. Ambiance is classic. The owner Offered us a set price lunch of either prime rib sandwich; fish sandwich or chicken sandwich. It came with soda or coffee and salad. I opted For the prime rib sandwich. I brought my New Jersey fiancé here for a great dinner in September. It was a Tuesday--normally in restaurants you can only get Prime Rib on the weekend, that is not true here!! We knew the waiter -who is the son of the owner--when we wanted to share a meal he suggested the secret menu!!! I am all in on SECRET MENUS! We ended up ordering a 3 POUND hunk of delicious Prime Rib to share. Added a soup and a couple of drinks. Our bill was way lower than most fine eateries and was fantastic!! My guy is a BIG eater and we finished it all!! If you are in the area stop by for a great lunch until 4 p.m. or splurge for the excellent Prime Rib--you will not be disappointed!! The Food is really delicious here and the service is usually great however we had a waitress that was a character which made the experience a little weird, when we ask for napkins she quoted how much they cost per napkin, when we asked for an extra straw she said she only gives straws to people who wear lipstick and she put them in our glasses with her hands, unwrapped. Our community had a special bus tour to Isleton and Locke and over 60 of us had lunch here. The service was happy, helpful, and generous, and the food was excellent. Everyone had a great time; fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, and prime rib sandwiches were our options. All came with salads and great fries served home-style. PETER you are a person of your word those Prime Ribs was one of the best we ate for a long while and my salmon was cooked so perfectly! we also enjoyed your homemade Chocolate Brownie with coconut pineapple ice cream and that bread pudding with the whiskey sauce, awesome!.
