Onion rings are amazing! Crispy and delicious.

Wow! I can't believe I had never eaten here before. With my family now vaccinated against Covid, we can visit in Peabody. We have dined together 3 times so far this summer. That's more than the past 2 years put together. All three times, we have gotten food from Pete's A Place! And we'll probably go there next weekend too! Everything at Pete's is delicious. We have tried the pizza, subs, salads, and my favorite- the roast beef! All meals are overflowing with quality ingredients. You can order one meal and have enough food to eat for 2-3 meals. Portions are huge! The onion rings are crispy and delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

    Large Pepperoni Pizza

Great location being next to corkscrew liquors so I figured I'd give them a shot. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and the chicken kabob wrap for pick up. Food was ready in 15min and hot when I arrived. Pepperoni pizza 2/5: Crust had more of a buttery, cakey, taste rather than a bready, yeasty, flavor. Red sauce was terrible, no notes of basil and it didn't pop with fresh tomato taste, just a sweetish/sour note that I wasn't a fan of. Cheese was simply average mozzarella and the pepperoni lacked spice... Chicken kabob 4/5: Great recommendation by other user! Lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and crispy. Chicken was good quality and had great grilled char flavor. Caesar dressing tasted good too and rounded out the flavor profile nicely. Their chicken kabob wrap is solid and the food isn't bad. Just pizza isn't my style and I'm unsure how anyone could get excited about it. There are much better options for pizza in the area like Frankie's and flying saucer IMO.

Saturated oily pasta, that's supposed to be Alfredo sauce.

Few weeks ago I ordered a Broccoli Chicken Alfredo Pasta, which was terrible made and nasty taste, we couldn't eat the pasta, just pick the chicken and the broccoli . See images please! Call today to talk to the manager, and when I told him the order was placed some time ago he stared laughing telling me so you call this long after? He so disrespectful! I said, yes! Because at 10:35pm the restaurant was closed and I sent images to the driver to prove what I got, then the "manager" told me that I wasn't suppose to talk to the driver about it. Really? I have to prove it right the way, correct? He is unbelievable rude. He didn't apologize, instead he was insolent and offer me $5 dollar discount on my next order. Also, I'll report this restaurant to Peabody Board of Health.

My fiancé raved to me about this place after visiting it during the day at work, so we decided to visit for dinner and get some "famous steak tips". We came from Lowell, so we had a 30 minute drive ahead of us... my fiancé called to place our order and was put on hold (which was just putting the phone down) and listened to the girl take three other peoples orders before we hung up and tried again. We spent just about $40 on two steak tip and rice plates, a waffle fry with bacon and cheese, and 2 cokes. The only thing that I'd say was worth it was the fries! Not to mention they had a terrible attitude.

    THE BURNT PIZZA

I called and placed an order for a small cheese. Specifically asked them NOT to burn the pizza. This is what I got when it came. I called and the guy said to send him a picture. he called back and was very rude and said this is how we cook pizza. He was so rude!!! I will not be going here anymore!!!!

    A perfect chicken kabob wrap

This review is long overdue. Having lived in downtown Peabody for numerous years, I've consumed dozens of Pete's-a-Place's chicken kabob wrap. Having moved away, I still stop by whenever I'm in the area for lunch. Pete's-a-Place deserves this 5 star review solely for their Chicken Kabob Wrap. It's as close as you can get to a "perfect dish". A warm, slight toasted flour tortilla is filled with (always fresh) lettuce and tomatoes for the perfect crunch, perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken and then finished with their homemade Greek dressing and lots of Feta. I highly recommend anyone who likes a kabob wrap try this place. It's by far the best chicken kabob wrap I've ever had!

Sorry couldn't help it. I ate it before I took the pic. Chicken kabobs wrap

The small pizza is small like a personal pan pizza not much for sharing. The pizza was kind of under cooked and soggy.

IThe bar serves 12 draft beers, beer cans/bottles, wine, and cocktails. After a drive on a foggy evening, I stopped in at Trade House for some late evening food and to catch the Celtics game on TV. I took a seat at a high top table next to the bar. The server came over in a couple minutes after I settled in. I requested an ice water and immediately placed my food order. For a starter, Fried Calamari ($16 plus tax) served in a bowl had flash fried calamari rings & tentacles with a light coating, very tender to eat with lemon wedge for zest and a pomodoro sauce for dipping. For dinner, the Southern Fried ($17 plus tax) was stacked with lettuce, tomato, red onions, thick crunchy fried buttermilk chicken, pimento & pickle chips on a toasted bun. The side of thinner cut golden fries was salted and firm, ketchup cup on the side. I very much enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich with the crisp fries. After I was done, the server dropped off the check, which was $35.31 with tax and before tip. Overall, a great tasting fried meal in a noisy pub, NBA finals on TV, and adequate service.
