It's a year later and I thought I'd update. Quick 411: they're not delivering themselves but are available on Grubhub, Doordash and Uber Eats. I ordered again and once again they did NOT disappoint. The order was handled perfectly: well packed and nothing was forgotten. And the women who answer the phone: polite and careful even after FOUR phone calls from me and they weren't even taking the main order. Oh you wanna know about the FOOD? Well YUM. Just YUMMMY! The chicken which I had for the first time is PHENOMENAL. It is fabulously juicy and well marinated hot and is almost even better now cold. I have NEVER had such perfect juicy delicious white meat. I'm a dark meat girl but this is MWAH! The skirt steak (asked for rare and got ... RARE!) and ribs still delicious. Grilled shrimp mmmm and even the RICE is great. The sweet potato fries: a little chewy, a little dry, perfect. Even the bloody lightly grilled PITA bread is delicious! And do NOT forget to get you some of their homemade potato chips. Absolutely ... I'm running out of adjectives. Perfectly crispy, lightly salted, a little thick a little thin. If for some reason one app is missing something, you can call and give your card and they can charge and add an item to the rest of the order. (Ubereats was missing the potato chips and I didn't want to miss them.) I will be moving this place up in my rotation. Not cheap, but honestly worth EVERY penny. If you're in search of the perfect pastrami sandwich, drop everything and go here now--the meat is tender and smoked wonderfully, and we found it to be better than the famed offerings at Katz' in NY! Ordered a pastrami sandwich. A little greasy, a little bit of tougher fat ( I know pastrami has some fat) and they can do away with the smokey BBQ flavor and go just with the traditional pastrami sandwich. Overall it was OK but not good enough for me to hustle back. Threw the sweet potato fries in the air fryer for a few minutes and they crisped right up. Fries were good. Stopped in for a bite at lunch time. Got a good look at the butcher counter - prices are at market level for prime beef (not the cheap stuff here). Ordered the prime steak sandwich on the logic that Steak is clearly what you buy at this shop. The problem that I find with most steak sandwiches is that the beef is too tough to enable you to clearly bite through. You end up dragging a too-big-to-chew bite into your mouth and have to sit there for a moment gnawing. Or worse it's overflowing out your mouth and making your date reconsider her past decisions. Not the case at Pete's. The sandwich is assembled with two thin (quarter to half inch) deep pieces of meat running the length of the bun. The tender beef and the multiple pieces enables you to cleanly bite through. I feel like this is the process improvement the steak sandwich has needed for 30 years. Now - this is a steak with cheese sandwich but definitely not a cheesesteak. Served with fontina, some miscellaneous aioli, greens, pickled onion and potato chips - it deserves the name PRIME! read more

Tried Pete's Meats takeout for the first time tonight. Pretty mad at myself that I haven't ordered from here before! Meat and veggies perfectly grilled; great tacos and sandwiches. First time ordering from here.. I initially wanted their pastrami sandwich but they didn't have it yet. It is like a 2 week process to prepare so I decided on the prime steak sandwich. The flavors in the sandwich are excellent and compliment eachother well. It just tasted very fresh! The only complain I have is the amount of meat. When I hear the name Pete's Meats, I imagine an overload of meats for a sandwich. If they can do this, this is a best seller for sure! We have purchased meats and pork chops that were very good. We decided to order in and give it a try. The roasted chicken was pink inside. when I called I was told it was brined and this pulls the color from the bones. My wife and I ordered take out here tonight and it was excellent. The food is extremely fresh and cooked very well and it's high quality. We ordered a burger, chicken tenders, Mac and cheese and fries and it was all excellent. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the service is great. Everyone greets you when you walk in and they make sure you are taken care of. Went in a few weeks ago and bought some meat from their butcher counter and they have a great variety and they even have seafood. The cubano sandwich is good, but not traditional in flavor. You don't get that flavor of marinated pork roast. It taste more like a juicy ham sandwich with mustard. I would try it again. Pastrami sandwich was very smokey in flavor, but texture was tough and dry. The pastrami tasted more of an american bbq style and definitely not Jewish deli style. read more

Friendly greeting, nicely displayed store, delicious meats. They sell prime cut meats and also have a grill/bbq. The employees are so nice they greet you, give you time to peruse the store and take it in and if you have questions they are more than happy to help you. Bought their kabobs and sausage to grill at home, meat was good quality. From their kitchen we tried ribs, skirt steak, and wings. This place is fantastic. Not only are they reasonably priced, their portions are 'healthy', the place is unbelievably clean and they have a great selection of meats. Their staff is super friendly and very professional. The app had an "issue" with its pickup time. The food was ready earlier than the suggested pickup time. We were called to inform us that it's been ready for a 1/2 an hour. On our way there, we got a call telling us they were going to make us a fresh order. Been waiting to hit Pete's Meats for a few months now! My wife and I finally got there today 7/2/21! Well it met and exceeded all expectations. Place is a great addition to the local food scene! We live about 25 minutes away and will be headed back frequently! We had the lobster roll, the pastrami (made in-house).....and then after meeting the very congenial owner, Pete himself....he had us try the ribs. The lobster roll was very good....real attention to detail and presentation. But presentation is certainly only one component of great food...the others for me are great, fresh ingredients and most of all TASTE! And Pete's food TASTES GREAT! The pastrami is smoky and super flavorful.....the ribs the same way. The intensity of flavor is just stunning. And you know that doesn't just happen! It takes trial and error to get food to taste just the way you want it to taste. Pete himself said he worked on all the recipes in the place with his team. Congrats because this place is the real deal. I also picked up a few different types of steak to grill over the weekend! Can't wait.
