    Amazing people ... super Awesome

A few months ago our Transmission on our car that we brought brand new in 2016 finally gave way. My husband had found them, I am not sure how or if it was recommended by another business. But, we like the fact that they are Family owned! When we met them - it was just the right feeling you are in good hands! I love their decor - some are super funny. They were communicating with my husband at all times, finished as they said they would, and very honest people. So hard to find these days and very happy we found Petes Transmission. I also enjoyed having a chauffeur everyday..Ha!

For 1150 they will half ass a trans rebuild th350, still caked it dirt, rtv metal shavings piss poor just like the owner.....just go to a REAL TRANSMISSION SHOP! GARBAGE!

Petes rebuilt the transmission in my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, I had intermittent problems with it which I took to them during the first year under warranty, they said they were unable to replicate the issue. A couple months after the warranty was up the transmission went out. I had to pay to have them rebuild the transmission again and the same exact thing happened just after 12 months. they were always polite but I am now paying for my 3rd transmission rebuild in 3 years. I am using a different shop and would not recommend using Pete's based on my experience.

5-Star Review Deserved. Read On!…read more Let's start with taking my Crosstrek to the Subaru service department. They suggested many repairs totaling $16,000. No! I do realize that the dealership service department charges more. However, the deceitful aspect is that many of those repairs they suggested, I knew, were not needed. Lies! After a quick conversation with the management at this location, we brought the car in to have the transmission looked at. After the initial inspection, the manager told me they would need to do a teardown to determine whether the transmission could be repaired by replacing parts or whether it would need to be replaced with a certified, warranty-backed rebuilt transmission. At that point, I showed the manager my paperwork from Subaru and asked if any of those items needed to be replaced. He immediately said, "No, those do not need to be replaced." That is the entire point of this review. He could have said yes. He could have pointed out things before I even handed him the paperwork from Subaru. He did not. He stuck to the issue that I already knew was the problem. Five-star review! We are now two months into the transmission replacement, and the car runs better than it did before. The price we paid for the replacement was excellent. Because of the honesty, integrity, and quality of the work, I would recommend anyone come to this location and trust this manager and his crew. They have earned my business for the rest of my life for any repairs they can perform on the cars I own. Mike, is knowledgeable, honest and kept his word through the entire process. His crew did an excellent job.

I had a terrible experience with AllState Transmission and would not recommend their services. I…read morewas charged extra for storage fees on my car, but when I picked it up, the part they supposedly fixed was still not working properly and my transaxle sign popped up before I even made the car home. When I brought this up, Nicole was extremely unprofessional and told me I was "lucky" they would even fix it without charging me more for the new parts they had to replace on my transmission--despite the fact that the part had failed and should have been properly repaired in the first place. To make matters worse, when I asked for an invoice showing the corrected repairs, they refused to provide one, leaving me without proper documentation for my records. This is completely unacceptable. I paid for a service that was not done correctly, was overcharged, and was then denied basic proof of what was (or wasn't) fixed. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund on the storage fees considering I was charged more than what I was told and for the car having not been completed correctly in the timeline under which I was informed and billed for. Had to leave work multiple times for their mistake but was told I was lucky to have a fixed car, which I am, but some good customer service would have been nice too. I would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. A reputable shop should stand by their work, treat customers with respect, and provide clear and accurate invoices. And customer satisfaction is supposedly their 100% priority but Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Five-Star Review for Allstate Transmission…read more Allstate Transmission is exactly what you hope to find in an auto repair shop--family-owned, honest, and fair. We have an early-2000s Ford Thunderbird, a very special vehicle that has been in our family for years. We initially brought it to a large corporate repair shop in Cave Creek and were quoted $3,500-$4,500 for transmission work. That estimate didn't sit right. After doing extensive online research, I reached out to Allstate Transmission and spoke directly with Nicole, an owner. She clearly explained the inspection and repair process, set realistic expectations, and even walked me through a worst-case scenario that came in at just under $2,000. We transported the car to Allstate and were extremely pleased with the transparency of the estimate process and the consistent communication throughout the transmission rebuild. The transmission carries a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty, and when we picked up the car, it shifted and ran like new--no leaks, no issues. After living in Arizona for two years, it's incredibly reassuring to finally have a shop we can truly trust with our vehicles. Integrity, common sense, and quality workmanship--thank you, Nicole. You run a great shop, and Allstate Transmission comes highly recommended.

He was on time, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. He explained everything in a way that made sense, didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary, and made sure the job was done right. I am giving two stars because of the only positives: they scheduled my inspection within a few days…read moreof calling and Justin, the technician that arrived, was very nice. However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
