Del-Air installed a new HVAC in our home and thought it would be a good idea to wait until the installation was almost finished to tell us that they needed to order parts to complete the installation. They dragged us along for over a week without any way of tracking the parts or knowing when they would be available. Once the missing components were finally installed, the installer told us that there was something else missing. Some kind of safety device. It's still missing. The system was limping along. When it did work, it made strange sounds. We could only control the temperature in one room of the house because of the missing components. Management did us a "big favor" by replacing the outside compressor unit. That didn't last long. Throughout this whole process, the salesman has been friendly and offering to help, but it seems his ability to get things done is limited. Management doesn't seem to care. Last night, during record-breaking freezing temperatures, it died completely. To their credit, they sent someone this morning, but they were perplexed and left without resolving the problem. Supposedly, they are sending out someone else. Given their track record, we're not holding our breath.
