While our family loves Petoskey Pretzel we had an occasion to stop by today, 6/4 around 5pm, after placing an online order for 2 pepperoni and 2 cheese sticks w marinara sauce only to discover we had received 4 pepperoni sticks with sauce. Not a big deal but, after we consumed our snack we were still in the area so stopped by to report the order was filled incorrectly. We just wanted to let them know so it wouldn't happen to another customer. The woman who had made the order argued with me that the order was not incorrect. I responded that I knew what my family ate and all 4 sticks were pepperoni. She then turned to a coworker and seemed to place blame that someone mixed up the display of cheese and pepperoni sticks. An absolute must when you are in town! They are sooooo soft and perfectly salted. We first came last summer and it was our first stop when we got to town this summer! Highly recommend! It's one of those must haves. I had the Garlic Parmesan w/ marinara and the Jalapeño Cheddar with Nacho Cheese. Both very very good. However, they do not skimp out on that jalapeño for sure! It's very spicy so definitely recommend that if you're in the mood for spice. The pretzas are def worth it too! Petoskey Pretzel is must do if your in town. They also have more then just pretzels such as, stuffed pretzel sticks, and pizza pretzel sticks. So you can make it a lunch stop. These pretzels are fresh too, there not like that stale shit you'll find at the zoo. Though the problem that you'll quickly run into is seating, though if all the tables are taken up outside, walk through tunnel to the park where you'll find plenty of seating. read more

I'm not sure what all these positive reviews are for. I got the pretzel hot dog ("the frankfurter") and it was really bad. The hot dog was undercooked and also just a horrible quality hot dog. They claim it's from some Michigan producer but it was definitely just a cheap hot dog. The dough itself is ok but I wouldn't call it a traditional pretzel dough - didn't really have any malt flavor. Also I can't believe they charge a dollar for a sauce on the side - especially considering what they gave me was a food service mustard packet that probably costs all of 5 cents. read more

Great product and great folks running it! Wonderful soft pretzels, with seasonal offerings. I tried the original butter, and jalapeño. The jalapeño had a salty, cheesy powder topping which was very tasty. They have multiple dips, which I haven't tried yet. They had a pepperoni and mozzarella stuffed pretzel roll when I stopped in (2 came in an order). This was amazing! Would definitely get these again. I assume the owners were working when I stopped in, and they were friendly and gracious, offering delicious samples. This is a great little spot in downtown Petoskey. I'm a soft pretzel fan and typically can't resist when I see them. It's in a corner just across the street from where you could grab one and walk down to the waterfront. They have all kinds of pretzels and dips from traditional, spicy, or savory. We tried the French toast pretzel with apple and a maple syrup dip. It was mighty tasty, for sure. I will have to check out their pretzels of a more spicy variety next time I am in town. Our lunch consisted of a pretzel-wrapped hot dog and a pair of pretzel-wrapped pepperoni & cheese logs, followed by cinnamon sugar and traditional salt pretzels for dessert. All were fabulous, and our brief wait was soothed by generous samples with an assortment of dips served by the friendly shop-owner. Our first step in the door We knew we would like this place. We were met with the delicious aroma of warm buttery soft pretzels! It's a small front entrance area but it's cozy and welcoming with places to sit and enjoy yourself and a friend while pondering which type of pretzel and dipping sauce and beverage you want. FREE SAMPLES were offered by the friendly staff at the counter which helped us narrow down what we wanted. I highly recommend the sugar and cinnamon pretzel with frosting sauce to dip. We also tried a buttery salted pretzel with cheddar cheese dip which is a winning combination! There must be dozens of different combinations of pretzels and dips. We will be back Several more times as this will be a mandatory stop whoever we come through town. The local/small business vibe is great as well! read more

After drooling over the many varieties of sweet and savory pretzels in the glass display case, we decided to keep it simple and go with one classic and one cinnamon sugar. (I hope they have Windex in the back...I wasn't kidding when I said drooling.) This was the second best decision we've ever made, behind deciding to walk into this pretzel shop on a whim. To choose a favorite between the two would be like trying to choose between your two children who are both just so warm, doughy, and delicious.
