Love this place! We went there after our son's graduation, with a party of eight, and they were able to accommodate us with no problems. Great beer selection, great food, and a very laid-back atmosphere. The Mediterranean food is excellent, but there's also American food (burgers) for the less adventurous. We were there for over an hour, and the staff was constantly checking on our needs, without any pressure to scoot us out the door. Check it out! read more

Honestly great service the bartender was working alone and she was able to handle the whole place by herself. My biggest issue is with the owners or whoever is in charge of scheduling, after encountering probably the sketchiest man possible who was casing the place. My husband and I were extremely worried for the safety of the female staff. This man was lingering at the bar and attempting to make conversation but it was obvious he was just there watching the lone female bar tender. He also didn't order a drink and set up a chess board to play against no one. It didn't sit well with us so we expressed our concerns to the staff. We have noticed that this is a common occurrence at this particular bar and we figured we would express our concern. This is unacceptable and honestly ridiculous. Until the owners/management can put the safety of their employees first we won't be back . read more

Giving this place 4 stars because they're on their way.... DRINKS were amazing ! My fiancé and I had 3 mojitos each ! Best we have had in awhile. Hummus plate was incredible- we got two !! But the burgers were dry and missing several of the ingredients listed on the menu. Not sure if the cook was having a bad night? They were supposed to be bacon with a jam and pretty much were just dried bacon cheeseburgers. Was bummed because everything else was incredible ! read more

Brand new spot in Santa Barbara. I was expecting American Ale which I still got with the classic burgers but the Mediterranean twist is really unique to Santa Barbara. Really so confused at why this has high ratings. My husband and I went based off the ratings and the original restaurant that was there. Such a disappointment and left us feeling sick to our stomachs all night. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because the bartender/server was very kind. Drinks were good but when I went back to use the bathroom, I saw the chef eating with one hand and cooking with the other. I tried not to think about it too much. However, when we were served our food, a thick black hair was wrapped in my food. The waiter was very kind and apologetic. Nothing was comped though. Because he was so nice, I decided to be patient and wait to see what the food tasted like regardless of my experience up until that point. Sadly the food was very bland and did not have much flavor (we got shawarma sliders, hummus and one of the burgers). Like I mentioned we went home and felt sick all night. I would caution others to let this establishment get its feet on the ground for longer before trying this. However, I know I won't return. read more

We came here expecting a great mediterranean dining experience. We both ordered the Shawarma Sliders. Today's 'meat of the day' was chicken and each slider had THREE (I counted them!) very, very small pieces of chicken....perhaps 1'x1'. The rest of the sandwich consisted of LOTS of bell peppers. We had to ask for the garlic sauce and there were no farmers market greens anywhere to be seen. One of the sliders my friend got had a HUGE black hair in it. We mentioned it to the waiter and he simply said "I'm sorry about that". No attempt to remedy the situation. Probably won't be rushing back. read more

Came to Foxtail for an afternoon cocktail and was not disappointed by the delicious menu I was presented with. Me and my friend wanted to go to Joe's for a strong drink but we saw that there was a line to get in, so we decided to go to American Ale. Little did we know it's now Foxtail so we decided to check it out. We ordered some long islands and they weren't as strong as we wanted so we asked the owner for more alcohol in our drinks and he willingly poured us more alcohol. Tried this place on a whim and was so impressed! The concept is kinda random...craft cocktails and Mediterranean food...but the vibe totally works. The hummus was good but you could probably pass on it. I ordered the Kofta Bowl for my meal which was basically the equivalent of a Greek burrito bowl and I loved it. So many good creamy sauces, pickled veggies and lettuce, amazing saffron rice, and small lamb patties on top. Will definitely be back! read more

We went in for a quick drink before heading to dinner at another restaurant, but quickly wished we could change our reservation. The owner is extremely personable and the place has a great vibe. Was in a few Thursday's ago to check out the new spot. Was very surprised by the unique ora and the very chill vibe. Tried out the PB&j burger and to my surprise was absolutely blown away.
