This family owned pizza restaurant is a dynasty! When you sit down and eat here, the table bread taste just like the pizza and something you have to witness in person! This is the type of food you cannot pass up even when you are full, keep up the good work, petrillos team! This picture features Mike, the owner, and his father and grandad in the picture on the wall! Excellent food and great memories is what's for dinner, it's a winner!

We went on Dec 30, 2025. My friend had heard the pizza was good so after a long day the WB studio tours we were starving. The place was packed, long line and phones ringing like crazy. But the two people working the front were doing an amazing and friendly job all things considered. I see comments about the dining area and although there's no table service you can still order at the counter and take it to eat in the dining room. It's really not a big deal in my opinion. Still nice and clean on both sides. Ok so food garlic bread was good soft on the inside and crunchy outside. The fried calamari my friend enjoyed a lot the sauces that came with them had a tiny kick which was good, I just wasn't in the mood for that. The star of the show is definitely the pizza. The meat portions are very generous, crust and sauce are just right and you love to see a cheese pull. It had 3 kinds of meats bacon sausage and one more I can't remember but it's on the wall near the counter. Was able to take some home and pizza holds up for next day leftovers. I would comeback but just order ahead of time to avoid wait 40 mins, but you can have a beer while you wait like I did!

We went to the Glendora location today (December 2025). Petrillo's has always been a favorite in our home. We took our daughter today to show her the place where "mama had her last meal before becoming a mama" and while the food was still great, we were sad to see that the restaurant itself is no longer functioning. You now have to order at the takeout counter and have the option of eating at what used to be the restaurant. I did appreciate that it was clean, still had the same decor, and the music playing was the same but it was a bit sad. I am sure we will be back, but at least the next time we will know what to expect.

Tuesday specials are the best. Large 1 topping pizza for $20 with the purchase of an appetizer. Being it was my first time here I didn't realize the large feeds 6-8 people. When I showed up to pick up the pizza I was surprised at its size. I was able to feed two families with this pizza. I ordered the garlic bread which is delicious and turned it into croutons for a Cesar salad. The pepperoni on the pizza is really good and complimented the pizza perfectly. Delicious food, amazing service, affordable pricing, and plenty of parking. Definitely will be back!

I decided to stop by after seeing they've been in business for over 70 years and after eating here, I can see why. Good ingredients and a solid product. While it might not be the best pizza I've ever had, it's exactly what you'd expect from a long standing staple. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the vibe is your classic plaza style Italian restaurant. If you're looking for a dependable Italian spot or a great takeout pizza, I wouldn't think twice about giving them a try.

OMG EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! Grew up going to Petrillos in San Gabriel. Happened to find the one in Glendora on the neighborhood app. Fresh made bread daily, fresh made lasagna, the pizza, minestrone soup, salad, everything was fresh and delicious! The service was top notch! Friendly and helpful! They packed our leftovers and the owner came out to greet us. This quality and service is hard to come by AND at GREAT prices! MUST VISIT and dine in! They even sent us home with a loaf of the fresh bread!!! We will definitely be regulars and I don't have to drive to San Gabriel for a taste of home. Can't give a better review this place is AMAZING!

1/2 Specialty (Sausage, Pepperoni, Salami, Mushroom); 1/2 Bianca (Mozzarella/Romano cheeses, Tomato, Basil, and Olive Oil).

Petrollos has been in business since 1954. The secret must be in the sauce! We ordered a large pizza (half was the Specialty and half Bianca). This combination will fulfill nearly everyone's dietary preferences. The Specialty can be called meat lovers (Salami, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage), wirh diced onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic and tomato sauce. The Bianca half does not have red or white sauce. The dough is brushed with olive oil, topped with Romano and Mozzarella cheeses, fresh Basil, and Diced Tomatoes. We added the "Sampler" which was breaded Zucchini and Mozzarella Sticks and Spicy Buffalo Wings. If children will partake, ask for regular wings. There was ample food for four hungry adults at a total cost of $57.00 The menu has your Italian favorites: Lasagna, Ravioli, Spaghetti, Fettuccine, soups, salads and garlic bread. The original location is in San Gabriel. Both restaurants have a Tuesday deal, which is $10 off a large one topping pizza. You will like their food and service. Don't forget to tell'em that Rosemary sent ya!

One of the best pizzas we've ever tried. This is their house pizza.

Ask the Community - Petrillo's Pizza

Years ago you served THE BEST calzone? What happened?

    Time changes everything

How could I get a hold of the restaurant when the phone lines are down for both this location and San Gabriel?

Sorry about that. We are extremely busy today. Probably our busiest day of the year. The phone lines are up but they are full. Keep trying and they will let you know when they can have a pizza ready today. Thank you for calling.

When is the sit down restaurant open? I've not seen the sit down restaurant opened for years.

I was told that the restaurant part was only open Friday through Sunday. Call The to-go line and ask just to verify that's still true. We've been to the restaurant within the past four months or so.

How do you order the square pizza is that the large?

    Yes! That’s our large.

Is the Dining room reopened yet?

The dining room is open on weekends from 4PM to 830PM at petrillo's Italian Restaurant in Glendora.

Can you order a cheese and onion pizza or only the specialty or pepperoni pizzas?

I'm pretty sure you could order any pizza the way you want it.

    Do they outside patio?

At this time we aren’t offering outdoor dining. We look forward to serving your dining in needs again soon!

    Is Petrillo's open?

Not the main dining room but their pizza takeout next door is! Just went this past Monday. So good!

    Do they have a website?

Not as such, but they do have a Facebook page.

This month Eddie's is offically celebrating their 41st birthday…read more Congratulations!!! Almost 20 years of my enjoying Spaghetti Eddie's great food & service. I have told many people about my personal experiences here and everyone that has visited the restaurant from my suggestions were impressed with the food and excellent service. I am temporarily living out of the area, but always make Eddie's one of my first restaurant visits when I return home. My favorite food is true Italian recipe based and Eddie's uses some of the finest ingredients and seasonings I've sampled. From main courses to salads and desserts, everything is delicious and obviously prepared from scratch. Visit the restaurants website and sign up for their monthly specials. These limited edition offerings are available all month long and everyone a stand-out in my opinion. Lunch specials are a real value and the quality is never compromised. Many of the staff have been with Eddie's for ten or more years and really enjoy their jobs and wouldn't want to work anywhere else. I read a review of Eddie's made recently by a patron and needed to update my review of Eddie's made several years ago. This restaurant would not be as successful as it has been for so many years without taking good care of their guests. My experience with servers has shown that they will do anything in their power to make your visit a happy one with great food and service to match. Mike, one of the managers that I have become acquainted with over the years would not let anyone leave without their being fully satisfied with their dining experience. This restaurant truly wants to have repeat customers that look forward to each and every visit. About a 15 minute drive east of Eddie's in Glendora are two sister restaurants in the community of Claremont that Eddie has also created very successfully thanks to the expertise of Eddie demanding quality food and service for each and every guest. You can't grow to this level without giving your guest what they expect from a superior dining experience. Eddie's Italian Eatery on West Foothill in Claremont has a menu similar to the Glendora location. This location is only a bit over 20 years old, somewhat new compared to Glendora. The upscale masterpiece of Eddie's is "Tutti Mangia-Italian Chophouse" located on Harvard Ave. in historic downtown Claremont. Fine dining at its best with an elegant setting and food to match. A special treat for anyone wanting the most special evening of elegant dining. It's worth the drive to experience the menu and decor. This location has experienced 30 years of success and is a very popular restaurant in the college town of Claremont. When you visit any of the three restaurants that Eddie operates you will be well treated and served some of the most authentic Italian food available anywhere. I never hesitate to make a 15 mile drive to a restaurant that truly has exceptional food and service.

After recently reading an extremely negative review made appx 2 weeks ago about Spaghetti Eddie's,…read moreI felt compelled to share my own experience--especially as someone who has lived in this area for 50 years and has watched our community change tremendously over the decades. I remember when the Mayflower Shopping Center was thriving and nearly every storefront was occupied. Unfortunately, many businesses have come and gone over the years. But Spaghetti Eddie's is still here--41 YEARS later! That alone says something. You don't remain in business for more than four decades without doing something right. They have weathered years of change, economic challenges, and even the incredibly difficult COVID era. During that time, they adapted their operations so they could continue serving the community that has supported them for so many years. Yes, the shopping center may not look like it did years ago, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this restaurant. In fact, on any given night, you may still have trouble finding a close parking spot because Spaghetti Eddie's is packed! When it comes to something as serious as a food allergy, however, I strongly believe we all have a responsibility to advocate for our own safety as well. If you have a severe allergy, it is always wise to double-check your order before leaving the restaurant. Placing the entire burden on a young employee--who may even be working their very first job--without acknowledging our own responsibility seems unfair. No restaurant is perfect, and mistakes can happen anywhere. But I believe a business should be judged by the overall experience it consistently provides--not defined by one incident or one extremely negative review. My family and I have always felt welcomed here. The entire staff works hard, and we have received wonderful service over the years. And I have to give a special shoutout to Manny! He is absolutely amazing at his job and someone I highly recommend. He recently suggested the mushroom soup with truffle oil--something I probably never would have ordered because I tend to stick with my favorites. I am SO glad I listened to him. It was incredible! And here's a tip: dip the bread in the soup. You can thank me later! Then there's the calamari. I order calamari almost everywhere I go, and Spaghetti Eddie's lightly cooked calamari remains one of my absolute favorites. So, before allowing someone else's negative review to make your decision for you, go experience Spaghetti Eddie's yourself and form your own opinion. Think about what 41 years in business really represents: thousands of customers, family dinners, birthdays, celebrations, first dates, longtime regulars, hardworking employees, and countless memories created around their tables. As someone who has called this community home for 50 years, I appreciate the businesses that have stood the test of time--and Spaghetti Eddie's certainly has. 41 years strong, and there's a reason for it. Give them a try. Order the mushroom soup with truffle oil, get the calamari, and enjoy your evening. Spaghetti Eddie's continues to have my support!

Here's why: Friday @ 12:45p, I called to place a catering order to be delivered tomorrow (Saturday) @ 5:15pm - over $200 in food. Everything was confirmed to be good-to-go. Saturday @ 5:30p as I was finishing the prep for 50 people arriving to our house (25 of them kids), I realized the food hadn't arrived so I called for the ETA. The girl was baffled at the inquiry - there was no such order - she then discovered it had been wrongly inputted as an order for Sunday! She immediately put me on hold to transfer me to the woman who incorrectly inputted my order w/o relaying any of the info to her. So when the woman got on the phone, I had to repeat the info, wait for her to understand & connect the dots, and discuss a solution. All I got was an offer to check with the kitchen and, if they weren't too busy, get the order made. She never apologized, but did agree to "rush" the order. Food arrived an hour later (after our guests arrived). No discount on the receipt, no apology - they did include a container of about a dozen mini-cookies - gee, thanks. not even enough for 1/2 our guests. And, to add insult to injury, some of the ham sandwiches had hard cartilage/ham bone (not sure) in them. Chew carefully I guess. After checking Instagram, I learned they were participating in the West Covina Electric Boba Fest & Night Market. Each pizza is made to order and took about 15 minutes to prepare. I ordered the Diavola, and it came out with a beautiful char throughout the crust that added a delicious smoky flavor. The pizza was perfectly saucy, the crust was light and pillowy, and every bite had the right amount of cheese. I can definitely see the care, love and quality that goes into each pizza.

The server was really nice, introducing and recommending dishes to us. I don't know how authentic their Italian dishes are, but here are some dishes that stood out to me: Orrechiette (9.5/10): a bit on the oily side, but it tastes really good with the Italian sausage and broccolini. Ravioli (9/10): I didn't know you can put beef inside ravioli until today. I always thought ravioli is filled with cheese. Starter bread (9.7/10): It is crunchy and airy at the same time. It tastes exceptionally good with the salted butter they provide. It is also free and refillable Red beets salad (8.5/10): I actually don't know the real name. I just remember the red beets taste really good. Daily special seafood (9/10): Also a bit on the oily side but their ingredients are fresh. I really love their shrimps. Tiramisu (6/10): Not the best tiramisu I had because it is more liquid. The server says they never add rum to it. Prosciutto e Burrata (8/10): I was expecting more from this dish but it tastes pretty basic. Nothing special or impressive.

I would be willing to forgive these things were it not for the declining quality in customer service from the hostess. I have been knowing the hostess, maybe she's the manager/owner too since even before they moved. Many happy memories were had in the previous location and she also seemed in much better spirits back then. Food quality has gone down. The prices are reasonable, however. But you walk in and are asked if you have a reservation. If you say yes, much joy! If you say no, it's like you've created a major inconvenience for them. Myself and wife have sat in the little bench waiting to be seated and we can definitely tell that reservation guests get treated much nicer than walk-ins. My advice is do not walk-in, make a reservation if you want to try this place. The spark is gone and I don't know who's in charge now but there are other better, much more customer service oriented places, around La Verne.
