    The spread - IG @bougiefoodieboi

We went here for Sunday brunch at 9:30am and it was not busy at all. We made reservations just in case, but it isn't necessary as even by 11am when we left, there were still lots of tables. This is a welcoming breath of fresh air when a lot of brunch spots have hours long waitlists or need to book reservations weeks in advance. This brunch spot features large portions at good prices, though now it is okay prices given they surcharge extra 40 cents per egg so each dish will cost $1-2 more so it can add up. We got the breakfast burrito, pork belly sandwich, pork belly hash, and steak and potato. The breakfast burrito is pretty large and hearty, with a good amount of eggs and potatoes. The pork belly sandwich has lots of sauce but the pork belly is still fairly crispy and hearty. The salad on the side was okay. The pork belly hash features crispy pork belly with a boat load of potatoes, along with spinach, caramelized onions, and roasted bell peppers. There was probably 8 pieces of pork belly so it is okay portions compared to a very hefty amount of potatoes. I love the flavor of the pork belly and how nice they made the egg over easy. The steak and potato was okay. Steak was overcooked though it was still tender. Yet again there was a hefty amount of potatoes. We also got nutella bomboloni which is a fried donut. They do it differently as the nutella is placed on top. The bombolonis I am familiar with have stuffing inside and optionally sugar outside. This was a bit sweet but it was fairly low commitment as it was $3.50. Service is decent as they check up on you a few times. I wished they gave less ice for water as the water refills were iced water too, so each refill you get less and less of actual water as ice accumulates in the cup. Food-wise, if you like the greasy spoon type of brunch spots here, then you will like it. I am more a quality over quantity person, so this was just okay of an experience for me. They just stuff lots of breakfast potatoes to make the dish filling, but in itself you are not getting that much more value than any other sit-down restaurants.

My best friend visited from out of town for a week & we ate at LucaBella twice in that timeframe because we loved it so much. The buccatini pesto with burrata is fantastic! I also love the eggplant. My best friend got the bucatini with meatballs & has already mentioned multiple times that we'll be going to LucaBella the next time she's in town. Our server was great & remembered us the next time we came in (it was only a few days later- but still!) We sat on the patio & it was very nice when the sun went down- Glendora village is quiet at the north end, so it was relaxing. We'll definitely be back

Flavor 3.5/5 - I've been here a few times, and the dishes are pretty good. Nothing stood out to me to bump it up to 4 stars, but I wasn't disappointed either. Price 3.5/5 - The prices are pretty fair, considering the higher-end nature of the restaurant and the portion size. Quality 3.5/5 - Some items are listed as organic, and their recipes are pretty good. The quality of the cooking oil is unknown. Service 3.5/5 - The service is standard for a higher-end restaurant. Ambiance - Business casual, clean, Italian.

Great salad! The portion size was just right, with a nice balance of balsamic dressing that complemented the fresh leaves under the steaks. The space between tables felt comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. It wasn't crowded at all when I visited around 11:30 on a Saturday, which made for a really pleasant dining experience.

I've always loved Luca Bella, the environment is casual/classy, amazing servers that are courteous and food that is so amazing. The chef is great! It's in a perfect spot in downtown Glendora. Sitting inside or outside, you'll love it! Breakfast, brunch, dinner, I recommend it all!!

I'm fortunate to live in a suburban community outside of Los Angeles, situated in the foothills of the northern San Gabriel Valley, with a great restaurant just under a mile away -- only minutes from my home. I frequently dine at Luca Bella Fine Foods, which offers an excellent dinner menu. I'm also impressed by the wide array of equally delicious options on their weekday lunch and weekend brunch menu. Let me not forget the front-of-house staff at Luca Bella. They are attentive and make their guests feel welcome and appreciated, which simply elevates one's dining experience. Do yourself a solid and partake in a terrific meal at Luca Bella Fine Foods in Glendora. Drop in or make a reservation on OpenTable. Your taste buds and your belly with thank you! Here are a few truly delectable entrées from their dinner menu I've enjoyed over the last few months (including an ol' standby ) ... roasted half chicken : roasted potatoes, asparagus, italian salsa verde [01 08 2025] eggplant parmesan : crispy eggplant, tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, shaved parmesan, served atop bucatini pasta [03 14 2025] chicken milanese : italian breaded chicken cutlet, stracciatella mozzarella, dollops of basil pesto, drizzled balsamic, served with wild arugula salad (red onion, teardrop tomatoes, bacon pieces, shaved parmesan) [03 19 2025] luxe burger : special ground beef blend, caramelized onion, cheddar cheese, wild arugula, applewood smoked bacon, topped with an over-easy egg, and a schmear of aioli on a brioche bun [02 19 2025]

Really decent food here! Prices are decent, salads are a little expensive. Service is attentive and flexible. Nice inside, feels like a decently fancy restaurant inside. Nice outside seating too. Plenty of parking in the area.

We chose Luca Bella to celebrate both my cousin's and my birthdays, so I had high hopes that it would satisfy our taste buds, but none of us were impressed. It was disheartening, to say the least. Not to say that the food is bad; it just sort of breathes mediocrity. We got the sausage alfredo and the mushroom alfredo, but the alfredo sauce itself was kinda bland. My cousin and his wife augmented their alfredo with the steamed ham, but that was unremarkable. A couple of us went with the chicken parm, which actually was a solid parm. However, the pasta and tomato sauce that the chicken parm sat on was forgettable. The last dish on our table was the rigatoni bolognese, but my cousin was the only one to eat it. He said, "It was all right." Now, although the food is not something I'd return for, this experience had some positives. The service was fast and friendly, and they even gave us birthday tiramisu to share for the table! It was a sweet gesture! I also love how quaint the area was where Luca Bella was located. You get such a small town feel, seeing all of the local shops and restaurants. Plus, this time of year, the street was decorated so festively! If you're in the area, then come support a small business! It's not my choice for food, but it could be yours!

We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine. The tall trees outside the spot are cute to look at as well. We ordered half sandwiches and half side salad the pear berry one. And half garlic fries. We did the kitchen sink sandwich and the pork belly sandwich. Everything was so amazing! Highly recommend and would definitely visit again to try more items.

Half a short rib sandwich, bacon wrapped dates appetizer
    RoseMary F.

Follow me for a delicious, nutritious, appetizing and cozy dining experience. It is a real treat at Luca Bella, which is a small family-owned restaurant near the foothills of Glendora. I love and simply cannot resist bacon-wrapped dates, which were very delicious and satisfying. I wanted to try the Jalepeno chicken sandwich for lunch, but decided on the Short-rib grilled cheese instead (I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into slow-cooked Short ribs). They did not disappoint, the sourdough bread was toasted and filled with a generous portion of meat, topped with Pico de Gallo, Cheddar Cheese and Chipotle dressing. Even though I had the half-sandwich, with fries (or your choice of soup or salad), there was enough food leftover for a second meal. They do serve beer and wine, but no hard liquor. I love Daou winery and happy to see it on the menu. They are open Tuesday-Saturday for lunch and dinner, and for breakfast/brunch on the weekends. Plan on a visit to Glendora, arrive with an appetite and don't forget to tell 'em Rosemary sent ya!

The patty is smashed just right, with crispy, caramelized edges and a juicy, flavorful center, while the melted cheese blends perfectly into the beef. The bacon adds that extra smoky, savory crunch, which pairs insanely well with the subtle sweetness of the Hawaiian bun. It creates that perfect sweet-and-salty balance, with every bite hitting a mix of juicy, crispy, and soft textures. The toppings stay simple and fresh, letting the flavor of the burger really shine. I had it with a side of tater tots, which were crispy and satisfying, but honestly, I feel like the sweet potato fries might've been the better move. That slight sweetness would've complemented the burger even more and taken the whole meal up a notch. Overall, it's a standout burger--simple, flavorful, and done right. Service was okay, although the cashier seemed to be going through the motions and wasn't particularly engaging. The restaurant appeared clean at first glance, but I did notice a few food safety practices that I think are worth bringing to management's attention. While handling ready-to-eat (RTE) food, employees should change their gloves and wash their hands whenever they leave the food preparation area or touch items that could contaminate their gloves. During my visit, I observed one of the cooks, an older gentleman, step away from the line and use the drink dispenser located in the dining area. Afterward, he returned directly to food preparation while still wearing the same black vinyl gloves. I did not observe him remove his gloves or wash his hands before resuming work. I've included a photo showing the location of the drink dispenser for reference. Later, I noticed a chef from the restaurant across the street stop by and hand food to the same cook. Rather than seeing the food taken to a designated employee area, it appeared to be placed near the cook line. If observed correctly, this could increase the risk of cross-contamination if proper food handling procedures were not followed. On a positive note, I did observe the front-of-house staff washing their hands appropriately as they transitioned between different tasks, which was good to see. Overall, this isn't a bad place to eat, and I enjoyed the food. I simply hope management takes a closer look at these food handling practices, as following proper glove-changing, handwashing, and cross-contamination prevention procedures helps protect both employees and guests.
