I come to this Petsmart probably once a week to get everything i need for my Pit Bull. Every time i step in the front door someone is ready to greet you. I like being able to go places where people still greet you and have good manners. They always come to the isle I'm at and ask if i need anything or have any questions regarding anything in the store. They have good food for my puppy and plenty of toys to choose from, they also have good Kong besd and plenty of collars and leashes.Good environment and very nice people who work there. For grooming, Ericka is great. She is patient with the dogs, does her best to make sure they feel comfortable with her. She genuinely cares about the dogs and that the job is done right. Today was a nail grinding (but we have done full grooming as well). We have had her work on our dogs many times and will be back! read more

Dont come here to buy fish. Especially feeder goldfish. Service is horrible. Its 11am on a monday and the only fosh dept giy is stuck helping another customer over 20 mins trying get every detail from start to finish for a tank set up. All i need is 5 fish. No questions. I visited this Petsmart to pick up some bullysticks for my doxie. I think it was on a Sunday and there was a pet adoption going on in the parking lot. The store was pretty busy and I saw a lot of employees who were all friendly and greeted me right away. I haven't tried their grooming services, but overall impression of the store was a good one! read more

We took our 2-year-old Maltese named Chelsea to PetSmart for the 6 weeke beginning training course. She, my fiance, and I loved it! Our Chelsea learned so much...thanks to Stephanie, the trainer. It was a great opportunity to bond with Chelsea and a great way for her to socialize with other dogs. She shows off her new tricks to house guests and we are so proud of her! We came in today to return some Hills Prescription Diet cat food that we had bought sometime ago because our cat had passed away. I don't remember the young woman's name, her and the manager Nate were very helpful since we did not have the original receipt. I've been to this PetSmart to shop and to take my furbaby to the Groomers. Shopping: They always have what I need in stock and the prices always seem to be lower than the competition. All the associates are friendly and from my experience have been knowledgeable when I have any questions. Groomers: I took my furbaby here for the first time to get his nails trimmed since PetSmart sent me a free coupon via e-mail when I first adopted my pup. I have no problem bathing him on my own, but nail trimming always makes me nervous. The great thing is, you don't need an appointment for this service and even without the free coupon, the price is reasonable. I wish I could remember the Groomer's name that did his nails. She was really nice and very good with him. She also finished in no time at all, I just sat outside the door and waited a few minutes. I came back about a month later (with another awesome coupon) and made a last minute appointment for a basic puppy bath the next morning. My fubaby is short haired so he doesn't really "need" to go to the groomers but I want him to get used to other people and going to the Groomers in particular just so I know he'll be ok when I do want to drop him off their occasionally. His PetStylist was Mel and she was awesome! She took care of him in a little over an hour. Much faster than I expected for the Groomers. We will definitely be back! read more

This review covers the store only. Ive been coming to PetSmart for longer than I can remember. I have two cats, that are like my children. Ive been feeding them IAMS since they were babies (they are 15 now), and I always like to go to PetSmart if I can. I adopted my male cat from a PetSmart in Simi Valley (15 years ago). I like this location, because the people are nice. Period. The second we walk through the door, we are greeted. Ive experienced this at all PetSmarts. We are ALWAYS asked if we need help. Thats goes a LONG way with me. Also, you can tell the people who work here actually like animals. I am a person that giggles and smiles a lot in PetSmart,,,,I adore animals. Today, we visited to load our kitties up on cat food. This location is always stocked with IAMS. PetSmarts competition doesn't keep good stock, but here,,,,always. I do have a PetSmart PetPerks card. It gives you special discounts and extra money off,,,,like any rewards program. It was adoption day at PetSmart,,they had lots of young puppies. Also,,,lots of cute kitties in the back that need forever homes. We checked out in no time flat, and were done with our errand quickly. This location is clean, has great employees, who seem knowledgeable, and they treat you AND your pet with respect. You cant go wrong!!!! read more

Have never used their pet hospital or grooming services but the store is great. They have just about everything you could need for cats to reptiles. The store is neat and organized. Okay so I've been meaning to put in a review for this Pet's Mart. It's right next to my house so I always go over there for my turtles, fish, and cat (when I still had him ). The employees are always SO helpful. I mean above and beyond. They don't just answer my many many questions with patience, but they also try to contribute even more helpful information that I never thought of asking. Most of the time they know all the answers but occasionally if they aren't sure, they will ask another employee who knows better. You can tell that they all love animals and it's not "just a job" to them. The facility is always clean and it's easy to find things. I cannot run out of good things to say about this place. Price for a basic grooming was better than expected ($32). One girl was kind of rude and tried to up charge me by putting a bigger breed than my dog is. She also lost my dog's rabies certificate. On the other hand one guy(I think his name was Brian?) was very nice and helpful. Overall I'm happy with the experience. read more

This place needs zero or even negative stars. I have been going to pet smart ever since it opened with my family dog. But today at the Buena Park pet smart I came in to potentially adopt a dog. Well I didn't even get the chance to meet a pet or even ask more than one question about the dog. I came up to the person that worked at the adoption agency and you know might not be part of PetSmart employee but they are allowing people like this lady to be around giving attitude to pet smart customers. Older lady colored eyes long salt and pepper hair in a pony tail was the person I approached, it's sad I couldn't even get her name. I had asked her about a specific dog i saw in a kennel and she didn't turn to look at me she wasn't welcoming and she flat out just tells me. She needs to go to a special home. Like okay? Because you've interviewed me? All she did was take one look at me and basically said no. If it's a race thing I don't know but PetSmart shouldn't allow people like that represent them. I really liked this location because it was the closest one to my house, there is always parking, the store itself is huge and always organized. The girls at the front are super nice. And when I want to browse around, they typically leave me alone and I like it that way. Now, it's after Christmas and all the Christmas stuff is on clearance, so I want to pick up some goodies for my pups. I walk in, get greeted by the cashier. Keep on walking towards the toy section, this one blonde girl with shoulder length hair is standing in the middle of the store I'm thinking she going to say, " Hi yadda yadda welcome to Petsmart." I go to walk past her and I say "Hi" and flash her a smile. No hi back. Okay whatever. I browse, find some squeaky toys. Looking up to head to the bowls section, who do I see staring at me... the blonde girl. Okay. Look at the bowls and travel accessories, nothing on sale. Moving on. Going to head to the back to snoop on the cute pups getting groomed, who the hell do I see staring at me? The blonde girl again. Now I'm getting creeped out. And a little pissed off. Does this little bitch think I'm going to steal from a freaking pet store? A store I have been coming to for years? I go to pay for my stuff. Who the hell appears right behind the cashier when I approach!??? That big, blonde, I-can't-be-bothered-to-smile-at-customers girl. Now I'm just mad as hell. I just want pay and get the hell out of there. Honestly, I can't shop at a store that doesn't know how to properly train their workers in some low-key stealth spying tactics. IF YOU'RE GOING TO STALK YOUR CUSTOMERS, AT LEAST DO IT WITH A SMILE AND NOT WITH A I'M-GONNA-GIT-YOU-AND-STAB-YOU-HALLOWEEN-STYLE MAD FACE. We've been in here a few times over the past week to setup a new fish tank. Every time we were there al team members were great! They all knew what they were talking about. All questions if they didn't know the answer they found out. We got 5 new fish, 2 decided they didn't want to join us anymore & they have a 14 day return policy on fish... thankfully and they got us new few to avoid a fish crisis at our house!
