    I have been going to PetSmart for about 2 years now. I became a pet parent during the pandemic, and knew I needed a trustworthy Pet stylist for my maltipoo. I checked a few reviews, and Booked with Kalvetta. There's tons of parking. Appointments are affordable, easy to book, and Kalvetta does an amazing job at communicating if anything comes up. Kalvetta is very professional and diligent with my pup. She's extremely patient and tends to his anxiety while he is under her care. I have also referred a friend that left her original location to have her dogs serviced by Kalvetta. I give Kalvetta 5 stars If you book with Kalvetta i highly encourage getting two appointments on the calendar... she's popular and her slots fill up quickly My biggest issue is only with the store. I believe there can be a better method to cleaning up pup accidents that occur in the store or in front of the store. There's always limited assistance, so if you have a question prepare to wait. Often times the pharmacy is more attentive. The wait times in line are pretty long, as there is always only one associate checking customers out, in which pets become irritable.

    I'll only speak for this location. I saw this coming but didn't follow my gut instinct. I drooped my dog off at an appointed time, and they took more than four hours to call me to pick her up. I had to call them to ask when she would be ready. They let me know that I could be there in 45 minutes to pick her up. When I arrived, the groomer that normally takes care of my dog apologized and stated that they were overbooked and understaffed. Now on last Friday my dog had a 12 noon appointment. I had to call them at 5 o'clock and they said that she still was not ready. So I grabbed my keys and headed up there. On the way they called and stated that they could not finish my dog because she was acting unruly and snapping at them and that they were only able to partially shave her. I call BS and truly believe because they are and have been over booking appointments and being understaffed that whoever attempted to groom my dog was most likely irritated and being rough with her. Why do I say that? Because on Monday afternoon I took to another groomer who she has never been with before and they groomed her to perfection with no complaints about her behavior or anything. It was even suggested that I give my CBD gummies to calm my dog down because she was all of a sudden such a problem. No petsmart I believe you are the problem. No worries you all will never get the opportunity again.

    Rescheduled grooming appointment for today, email states 7am for both of my dogs. Get in about 7:15 but was told I have to come back at 8am because on her screen it says 8. Wasn't even given an option to leave them, was just told I have to come back at 8. I didn't like her tone at all and didn't want her servicing my dogs and I don't plan on coming back to this PetSmart grooming.

    I like coming into petsmart to look and I like their deals of buy one get one 50% off but other then that, the prices are a bit pricey.

    Please DO NOT send your dog here! We had a life altering experience with Canine Obedience College…read morethat nearly cost us our young puppy's life and severely damaged us both emotionally and financially. Our healthy 7 month old golden retriever puppy, Oliver, was dropped off on the night of Friday, August 13th for their 2 week "bootcamp" program to attempt to correct his typical puppy tendencies. By Monday August 16th, just 3 days later, Oliver was rushed to the dog 24/7 emergency veterinary by Canine Obedience College where Oliver was fighting for his life. Oliver ended up staying at the 24/7 emergency vet for 8 days and was treated for heat stroke which developed under the care of Canine Obedience College. Months later Canine Obedience College has taken no responsibility for the incident described below and has simply stopped communicating with us after attempts to come to an agreeable conclusion to the incident.We cannot express more emphatically how disappointed we are in Darryl, Lisa, and Canine Obedience College as a whole for what they have put us through and the financial damage they have caused us. Please do not put your dog at risk by entrusting their well being in the care of Canine Obedience College. Upon being notified by Canine that Oliver was rushed to the emergency vet we scrambled to get there as soon as possible that night. We were absolutely devastated and shocked when they brought Oliver into the room to see us on a stretcher, unable to move or lift his head, and barely able to open his eyes. Oliver arrived at Premier soaking wet, latterly recumbent (unable to move), non responsive, with skin lesions, critical dehydration, and severe hyperthermia (dangerously overheated body). During Oliver's roughly 72 hour stay at Canine boot camp the only communication we received prior to the night Oliver was hospitalized was "Did good." and "He is a cutie! Seems a little nervous right now. Drinking a lot of water." after asking twice how Olver was doing. What they neglected to tell us was that Oliver did not eat the entire time he was there (except a few treats) and that he had been vomiting since the second day in their care. Not only did they not disclose the events leading up to Oliver's near death to us, but they did not follow up on Oliver's status after the first couple of days or if Oliver ever made it home from the hospital. Oliver was treated at Premier Veterinary Orland Park with every possible solution and treatment they could provide until Wednesday August 18th, when the medical team recommended Oliver be transferred to MedVet Chicago. MedVet is like the Northwestern of animal hospitals, at MedVet Oliver had the best possible treatments he could receive. He had been seen by every specialist in the building, tested for every possible underlying cause (all negative), and received around the clock care. Oliver had his ups and downs at MedVet, but he began to attempt to eat and drink a little bit by his 3rd or 4th day onsite. From there he slowly began to be able to sit up, stand, and even walk with all vitals improving. By Tuesday August 24th, 8 days after first arriving at Premier emergency vet, Oliver was discharged to home care on 8 different oral medications, 2 ointments, and a couple of IV bags if needed. Needless to say it was a long couple of weeks of at home recovery. Oliver was diagnosed and treated for suspect heat stroke causing multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. After all of these events unfolded and Oliver was home on a track to full recovery, we sent an email of the entire situation to Canine and asked for compensation for Oliver's medical care. They ignored emails until days or weeks later and multiple texts/emails were sent asking for a response. They finally responded asking for more info from the vets and we provided them with all of the reports, diagnostics, and invoices. They then referred us to their insurance company (tacit admission of guilt), who denied their claim as they did not have insurance coverage for this. They then immediately said it was not their fault and would not compensate us in any way. To this day, Canine Obedience College has not responded to our multiple letters sent over a month ago, emails, phone calls, or texts. While legal action has been contemplated, we are a young couple trying to save up for our first home and cannot afford the risk of potentially losing even more money. We cannot express more emphatically how disappointed we are in Darryl, Lisa, and Canine Obedience College as a whole for what they put Oliver through and for the financial damage they have caused us. Please do not put your dog at risk by entrusting their well being in the care of Canine Obedience College and please feel free to share Oliver's story so we can help prevent this from happening to other dogs going forward

That is the most important part the WHY. So much knowledge. Bolt and our family can not thank you enough for this. They are now our number one trainer and boarder. I would not trust my dog with anyone else.

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. My wife and I chose to train with the Sit Means Sit team in may of 22. Kerry and her teams training program was exactly what Buzz and I needed. Just 7 months later, I can confidently take my dog anywhere and know that he will be focused on me when told. Sit means Sit gives us the opportunities to socialize and reinforce the training with their group classes. Buzz also loves his additional 'change of leadership training' that allows him to get used to day camp with a one on one trainer without me being a distraction. I can now confidently leave him at day camp. Best of all, my 9 year old niece practices training with buzz when she visits. Kerry, Sarah, and the Sit Means Sit team has helped and continues to go out of their way to make Buzz a great dog.

Don't hire this woman, unless you want to pay her to harass and verbally attack your law-abiding neighbors, while torturing your dog with an e-collar. In front of the owners, she purposely let their dog CHARGE at my dog and I, before zapping the dog to stop. Walking on the sidewalk, I saw the off-leash dog and waited for them to go into their house and avoid a confrontation. The woman (I didn't know was a "trainer") and I locked eyes, she knew I was respectfully, waiting to cross. However, I didn't realize she was planning to let the dog BOLT towards my dog. She let the dog run at me, across their lawn. She then proceeded to verbally attack me for being upset about it. THIS IS NOT OKAY. I understand they were on their front lawn. But the dog was not secured and an e-collar is not a leash. And of course, how would an innocent bystander know the dog was going to get shocked and turn around. But I should have known, because before this, I heard a dog crying in agony down the street. Obviously, he's not trained. She's just going to torture your dog and call it "trained." Do not pay this woman. I don't care if you're a trainer or not, you don't let a dog run at anyone!!
