The people here do not take care of their fish!!!!!! I have been to this location 4 times and each time I was shocked at the state the fish were in. I thought it was possibly how all the petsmarts treat their fish (still not right) until I went to a different location in Arlington and saw that they had significantly healthier fish. I went to purchase a Beta fish at this location and discovered all sick and dying fish. Every fish was in GREEN water. I planned to rescue a beta and called out my concern to an employee who reacted rudely and passive aggressively to me. She told me that I could not purchase the fish since I called out that it was sick and even agreed that the water was green. EVERY fish was sick with fin rot and living in disgusting water. I was appalled. It is Petsmarts job to take care of these animals. When I went to check out with other items I saw her and a cashier employee talking and looking right at me. When I asked to speak to a manager because I was upset with the conditions for the fish, he said he did not have a phone number for a manager and said he was actually one of the managers. I find it hard to believe that they are actually taking the fish in the back to "heal them." The blatant disrespect the employees had for me--a concerned person-- and their own pets was shocking. I have attached a picture of the healthiest fish I saw at the store (still does not look well) and the fish I took home. You can barely see the fish In the disgusting water. Don't even bother. I hate this Petsmart sooo much. They stay opening two hours late and closing up to 2 hrs early. I've had this happen to me at least 3 times Like i get it if you can't run the store, but update your f*ng website or at least the hours on the door. I'm having to spend an extra 30min of my time driving to another pet store so that my dog can eat. Not to mention once you get there the cashiers are rude as sh*t. Like damn all i'm asking is for you to ring my order so i can pay - bare f-ing minimum and i'll get an attitude like i'm asking them to go above and beyond. Don't waste your time time or gas money. Don't go to this store on a Thursday or Saturday. There is an old lady that acts like she works there but actually is just a vendor for one of the brands. She followed me around judging all the things I was looking at for my new kitten and discouraged me from buying some items I was interested in and gave me misinformation about the availability of other products I was looking for. Luckily conversation with the cashier at checkout allowed me to mention and complain about her and the cashier apologized profusely and pointed me in the direction of what I wanted. I hope they ban this lady from coming back, a Manager was told and so crossing my fingers because other than that I really like the convenience of this store and they had pretty much everything I was looking for with easy acc. The cashier definitely made up for my experience so I would advise other shoppers to just avoid Thursday's and Saturdays, go any other day. ***Update*** Found out that vendor is no longer serving this location so 5 stars for listening to your customers PetSmart! Really disappointed after doing their walk in services- Pet has fleas and got their topical application. After a number of days and having residence sprayed completely, pet still had fleas. Went back in and they said give it a few more days. Fleas still there after also buying their fogger and shampoo. $100 wasted. They were terribly sorry though. Dropped my dog off this morning for a bath, which included nail trimming. I got a call from Micah, stating my dog was done, but she could not do his nails because my dog was supposedly "jumping off the table and trying to bite her." She suggested I take him to a vet to get sedated for a nail trim. Excuse me? First of all, that is not likely of my dog at all. Secondly, I have taken my dog there before for a nail trim by the same person, Micah, and she had no issues then. Third, what doctorates program did she complete to make such a grand suggestion for a frkn nail trim? The girl ringing me up for the bath suggested I return when there are more workers in case she needed help with him. So did my dog not get a nail trim because of staffing issues? The worst grooming salon I've ever been in. Waited 20 minutes to get checked in. &There were seven other dogs in line with us. Finally got to the front and they had booked us for the wrong appointment even though I had gone over the specifics multiple times when I called in to make it. Groomer choked my dog out trying to quickly take her with her. This is not the first time any of this has happened. The groomers never listen to you want and take 4-6 hours. I reserved my dogs grooming appointment on a Monday for the following Thursday. I was sent an email offering me to do a pre check in online as well as curbside service so I didn't have to go in the store. I was approaches by a grooming tech named Sommer... she was EXTREMELY rude, disrespectful and very unprofessional! I had to then park and go inside the store even though I opted for the PRE check in and curbside that's the website promised days before. I will not be returning to this store because she made me and my dog feel extremely unsafe. I don't believe she should be caring for animals with her nasty attitude. When Misty the manager tried to talk to her and tell her she needed to stop yelling she even yelled at misty her own manager!! In front if so many other customers!!! Extremely unprofessional! It's a shame she is allowed to work around animals with a nasty attitude like hers! I will not return! Horrible customer service and terrible people skills. read more

If I could give 0 stars for this grooming department I would. These people put a shock collar on my dog during a nail trim without my permission. If you are going to use a shock collar on someone's animal you need to consult with the owner first. I kept wondering why he had severe anxiety each time I took him there to get his nails done, finally the tech told me she used the shock collar on him. He's a French bulldog who has never bit someone in his life, it is natural that he would have anxiety with someone clipping his nails but not enough to shock him. He's a nervous, hyper, 3 year old pup and when we pick him up his haircut is always perfect and he is very happy. He has previously seen other groomers at this location and they never did as good as a job. Ask for Jeff, but book plenty in advance! He's always booked far out, and for obvious reasons. It is disappointing that we had such a strange experience that soured our taste for this store. We live nearby, so we enjoyed the convenience of proximity. At our last visit, a representative from Blue Buffalo kept awkwardly stalking my wife and I. She eventually approached us to give unsolicited advice and proceeded to pet our dog without asking permission. This would have been fine but after thanking her for the advice and excusing ourselves to another section (basically our polite way of trying to definitively end the interaction) she returned to awkwardly stalk us some more and try to sell us on some Blue Buffalo pet food. With that, my wife and I are done with this store due to some strange solicitation by third party sellers. read more

Leslie is AMAZING! She is extremely detailed with her work! She's professional, sweet and is truly the only person I will allow to take care of my fur baby! The trim is consistently perfect! I have had constant issues with the grooming salon here. From garbage haircuts to incompetent employees. Zero communication when it comes to trimming my dog on things that should be called about. Specifically, booked an appointment through the PetSmart app, the person the app auto-assigned me to just so happened to call in sick to work, so instead of assigning someone else, they cancelled the grooming. I brought my puppy to their grooming salon and was told he would receive a puppy cut. The woman explained she would be lightly trimming around his face, paws and behind. When I picked him up she had completely chopped off all of the hair around his face. It looked like she had given him a full buzz cut. But because puppy cuts don't include a full body cut, they left his hair on his body long and his face completely shaved. I called and asked to speak with the manager and informed him I was unhappy with the cut and per the groomer and my conversation didn't anticipate my puppies face being cut so low. I asked if they could trim his entire body so that he looks like he has an even hair cut and was told it would be an additional charge. As a first time customer who received exact information on what to expect as far as a "light trim," I am disappointed that the manager wasn't understanding and so defensive. I never spoke badly about the groomer who groomed my dog, just explained what I was told was going to be done wasn't and would like him to fix the situation.
