Long time PetSmart customer but a very disappointed one today. Bought my usual varieties of cat food and decided to buy some Tiki Cat Born Carnivore Broths since they were on sale. Buy 4, get the 5th 40% off, Mix & Match. Sale tag showing this on all flavors. I get to the register and double checked to make sure the discount was taken. It wasn't, so I asked why. The young man said it's not on sale. I said the tags on the shelf say different so he reluctantly said I'll go check. I didn't want to hold up the long line so I asked him to just remove them. I went back later took a picture and brought product to same cashier and showed him the picture. All he could say is "these aren't considered treats". Of course I replied "then why are there sale tags under every one of these Tiki Cat broth items and most other similar products in this treat area? All he could say is "someone put the tags up wrong". This is false advertising, deceiving to the customer and frankly dishonest. If the customer isn't paying attention they're paying full price. I didn't buy them. Good customer service would have been getting a ManagerOD to handle it. So if you think you're getting a sale price at PetSmart, you better double check at the register! Posting a picture of the product and the sale tags. Might seem like small potatoes to some but it all adds up these days when everything is so expensive!

From what I saw, they have 9 female guinea pigs for sale. 3 of them have visible bald spots on the top of their head, which was concerning, but it looks like they're crested. They even have 5 in the same enclosure, but the igloos look decently-sized. They have another guinea pig that is the only one housed alone, but it doesn't have a sign. The hay looks very dry/brown, and as someone who recently started getting into guinea pigs, I feel that they need more enrichment in their living space. As expected, all or most of their cages on display have bars on them, which I despise. I was going to buy some chew toys for my cavies, but most of them are made in China. They do have a BOGO 50% deal going on though. They appear to have reasonable prices for hay, but some of it looks like it might be collecting dust. They only have one type of plastic bowl without a water bottle attachment. The wobble teaser looks cute, but the price isn't. I do like the brands they carry such as Full Cheeks, Oxbow, and Vitakraft. Also, I discovered a new one called Field + Forest by KAYTEE. The millet clusters look interesting, but I wouldn't buy half of the products here because in the ingredients list, there are either oils, preservatives, or foods they shouldn't eat like potato. A little disappointed, but hopefully, they have guinea pig items on clearance in the near future. I'll probably find more luck online though. They did have wheatgrass/catnip near the registers, which reminded me that I want to try building a garden to feed my guinea pigs some natural plants.

With the tampered proof band and no retaping box lmao

Great location and easy online pick up process. Friendly customer service and no shady business practices. All petsmart's location take notes. Crazy how I have to say this like it's eBay but product matches description. Cough cough Buena Park lmao.

A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. I have my freedom back, and Cash is happier and more relaxed because of it. If you're struggling with separation anxiety, behavioral issues, or just want a better relationship with your dog, I can't recommend Brad enough. The impact has been life-changing.

Working with Vladae will!…read more We've been working with Vladae for about four months with our now six-and-a-half-month-old Golden Retriever, Coach, and it has been one of the best investments we've made. What sets Vladae apart is that he doesn't just train dogs, he teaches owners how to build a lifelong relationship with them. Every lesson leaves us with practical tools, clear direction, and the confidence to continue the training every single day. Because of that, the progress doesn't stop when the session ends. Vladae has an incredible ability to understand dogs. Watching him read a dog's behavior, body language, and mindset is genuinely fascinating. He knows exactly how to communicate with each dog in a way they understand, and it's clear this comes from years of experience and a deep understanding of canine psychology. He's also one of the most invested professionals we've ever worked with. Throughout the week, he encourages us to send videos, provides thoughtful feedback almost immediately, and is always available to answer questions or jump on a call if we need guidance. You never feel like you're figuring things out on your own. He truly cares about both the dogs and the people raising them, and he always follows through. Every recommendation Vladae has made, whether it's training tools, techniques, or daily routines, has become an essential part of Coach's development. We trusted the process from day one, and the results truly speak for themselves. (See the videos! Coach is only 6.5 months old in them.) Our puppy is happy, confident, well-mannered, and genuinely loves learning. We receive compliments on his behavior everywhere we go, and we owe so much of that to the foundation Vladae helped us build. We also had the opportunity to work with Erica, who trains alongside Vladae, and she was absolutely wonderful. One session with Erica is included in the program, and it was incredibly helpful. It's clear she shares the same passion, knowledge, and dedication that make this training program so special. Vladae brings unmatched energy, professionalism, and passion to every session. He genuinely wants every dog and every owner to succeed, and that level of commitment is incredibly rare to find. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and is committed to setting both you and your dog up for long-term success, I can't recommend Vladae highly enough. Coach has become an incredible puppy, and we're excited to continue into adult school because of the foundation he's helped us build. We're so grateful we found him!

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)

We trusted Hudson Training Facility with our dog, Blaze, and unfortunately our experience ended in a way no pet owner should have to go through. Before dropping Blaze off for a two-week board and train, I had met with Noel and specifically informed him that Blaze had previously broken his front leg. He had fully recovered and been cleared by the vet, but I wanted them to be aware of his history. He informed me he would keep an eye on him and make sure he did not do any strenuous training with him. During the first week, I received videos and updates showing his progress. Then I received a call from Noel telling me there had been an incident and that Blaze was not putting weight on his leg. When I arrived, I was told that Blaze had fallen off the grooming table while Noel had reached down to grab something from the floor. The whole story just sounded fishy to be honest. The fall resulted in Blaze breaking his leg in two places. Joseph (owner) sent me to the vet that they deal with and their doctor told me the break was too severe for his expertise and that Blaze needed a specialist. The vet I went to later explained that the severity of the injury was consistent with the height of the fall. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled afterward. The owner initially downplayed the injury and said it was probably just a sprain and had the nerve to remind me about the liability waiver that I signed that waives ordinary negligence before we even knew the full extent of the injury. He even mentioned not going through insurance. What the contract does not waive is gross negligence, which is exactly what occured. Joseph ended up going through his insurance but I ultimately had to pay nearly $12,000 upfront for Blaze's surgery and treatment. I could not receive the settlement until Blaze was fully cleared which lasted months. That financial burden was incredibly stressful and could have been devastating for many families. I also requested an injury report and a written statement explaining exactly what happened, but I never received either. To this day, I still do not know exactly what happened. To top it off, when I picked Blaze up, he was dirty, his paws were dry, his nose was chapped, and he looked poorly cared for compared to when I dropped him off. Accidents can happen, but this felt preventable, especially if you are a professional training facility. The lack of accountability, communication, and documentation, is why I cannot recommend Hudson Canine Kennels to other pet owners.

During our initial phone consultation, Andi was incredibly honest and genuine. After learning more about our dogs, she felt that Kiki was the one who would benefit most from formal training and suggested that we could apply what we learned with Kiki to Coco as well. We really appreciated that she didn't try to upsell us on training for both dogs when she easily could have. That immediately showed us how much she genuinely cares about helping dogs and their families. At the time, Kiki was about six months old and was extremely reactive to just about everything in the outside world. We were looking for someone whose methods aligned with our values, and we loved Andi's positive reinforcement approach. Kiki completed Andi's six-week program, and the growth we've seen has been incredible. What sets Andi apart is that she isn't focused solely on teaching dogs tricks or obedience commands. She truly cares about each dog's emotional well-being and how they're feeling throughout the process. We learned so much--not just about Kiki, but about ourselves as dog owners. Andi helped us understand how our own behaviors and responses can shape our dogs, which was eye-opening and incredibly valuable. Of course, the work doesn't stop when the training sessions end. It takes consistency and ongoing practice at home, but Andi gave us the tools and confidence to continue building on Kiki's progress. The effort has been absolutely worth it. One of the best parts is that we were able to use many of the same training methods with our older Maltipoo, Coco, and she learned and benefited from them as well. Andi actively encouraged this, which we really appreciated. The program focused on comprehensive obedience, off-leash reliability, recall, and behavioral modification, all through individualized and consistent training tailored to Ringo's specific needs. They took the time to understand Ringo and worked patiently to help him build confidence, improve behavior, and develop reliable obedience skills. Even after training, I continue to bring Ringo there for daycare and boarding, which says everything about the confidence I have in their team and facility.
