I found the cutest things at this store! I ordered for delivery instead of driving to the store for pick-up. I was on the hunt for some Halloween costumes and toys for the doggies. Found exactly what I was looking for! I ordered two dog costumes and two dog toys, and some shampoo. The costumes are the cutest! One if s chucky doll, and the other is a Jason Voorhees jersey. I can't wait to roll these out for Halloween! The pups are gonna be adorable! The Kong ghost squeakers are too cute! They are great quality too. At least for my little dogs they are. IT seems like they might last awhile. I'm sure they will get dirty fast since they are white lol Ordering for delivery as easy peasy. Long time PetSmart customer but a very disappointed one today. Bought my usual varieties of cat food and decided to buy some Tiki Cat Born Carnivore Broths since they were on sale. Buy 4, get the 5th 40% off, Mix & Match. Sale tag showing this on all flavors. I get to the register and double checked to make sure the discount was taken. It wasn't, so I asked why. The young man said it's not on sale. I said the tags on the shelf say different so he reluctantly said I'll go check. I didn't want to hold up the long line so I asked him to just remove them. I went back later took a picture and brought product to same cashier and showed him the picture. All he could say is "these aren't considered treats". Of course I replied "then why are there sale tags under every one of these Tiki Cat broth items and most other similar products in this treat area? All he could say is "someone put the tags up wrong". This is false advertising, deceiving to the customer and frankly dishonest. If the customer isn't paying attention they're paying full price. I didn't buy them. Good customer service would have been getting a ManagerOD to handle it. So if you think you're getting a sale price at PetSmart, you better double check at the register! I came into the store looking for a birthday cake for my dog and was rudely dismissed three separate times when I was asking where it was located. When I was finally able to find it I got in line and tried to use my discount the cashier sighed multiple times and told me "it's not much of a discount". My husband went to get MeowMix kitten food for kitten because she was out. He noticed the shelf was empty for first he asked a male worker about it and he said yea we have some in the back, and then didn't even go get it. Then he went to ask a female worker and she said yes we have some in the back, he asked if he could get a bag because he only needed one and that the food our cat is on, then she says "I can get you it but it's going to take a few hours before i can give you it" Like at that point just just simply say We have it But i'm too lazy to do my job. From what I saw, they have 9 female guinea pigs for sale. 3 of them have visible bald spots on the top of their head, which was concerning, but it looks like they're crested. They even have 5 in the same enclosure, but the igloos look decently-sized. They have another guinea pig that is the only one housed alone, but it doesn't have a sign. The hay looks very dry/brown, and as someone who recently started getting into guinea pigs, I feel that they need more enrichment in their living space. As expected, all or most of their cages on display have bars on them, which I despise. I was going to buy some chew toys for my cavies, but most of them are made in China. They do have a BOGO 50% deal going on though. They appear to have reasonable prices for hay, but some of it looks like it might be collecting dust. They only have one type of plastic bowl without a water bottle attachment. The wobble teaser looks cute, but the price isn't. I do like the brands they carry such as Full Cheeks, Oxbow, and Vitakraft. Also, I discovered a new one called Field + Forest by KAYTEE. The millet clusters look interesting, but I wouldn't buy half of the products here because in the ingredients list, there are either oils, preservatives, or foods they shouldn't eat like potato. A little disappointed, but hopefully, they have guinea pig items on clearance in the near future. I'll probably find more luck online though. They did have wheatgrass/catnip near the registers, which reminded me that I want to try building a garden to feed my guinea pigs some natural plants. read more

Came here tonight was waiting for 15 minutes to get Josh's attention since he was on the floor and the two cashiers were busy and when we asked for what we wanted he goes well we can't it's too late when we had been waiting 15 minutes then he proceeds to go and talk to someone and says well let's see if I can but we close in two minutes. Then comes back and hands us his tablet to fill out the form for the pet and goes "here fill all this out" in a rudely manner and annoyed voice. We were honestly just gonna leave because one if Josh is unhappy working there then don't two made the whole experience horrible. This is strictly for the grooming service and DIANA in particular. From the get go she came off too headstrong and unwilling to TRY to accommodate any requests. I was first introduced to Cynthia who was going to do the actual service on my dog. I asked her if she could trim 3 parts of my dogs body because I have already been previously told that because my dogs' coat isn't long to be considered for the "bath and haircut" and to just request it as an addition in store and pay the extra. That is exactly what I told Cynthia and she was so willing to do it but then DIANA interjects and says no. She wasn't even going to do to the service so why was she budding in. I have had this request met at the ORANGE location (HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING THERE INSTEAD) and some have even denied the extra charge bcz it's so minimal. I explained this to Diana and she instead continues to tell me no. From the minute I left after dropping my dog off she had a smirk on her face like that's what she was going for??? There were more words said but the takeaway is that she had a snarky attitude and whatever she said goes. If she's the "manager", from what I gathered, she needs additional training on respect, especially on how to communicate with PAYING customers. So you're welcome DIANA, you lost a customer at this location (and I'm sure she's not even going to care) and hope someone higher up sees the other reviews. read more

So I go here to buy pet food and then need to go to the restroom while I'm shopping. I go over to that area, and there are two restrooms. One restroom has a sign that it is out of order. The second one needs a code to open it. I go to the area nearby where cats are on display to be adopted. I tapped lightly on one cat cage to get the attention of the person in the rear area. An old blonde woman barked at me "Don't do that!" I told her that I was trying to get her attention. Then I asked her for the code to the restroom. She told me that the only one that was in use was 'for employees only" and that I would have to go to the front and ask someone to use the restroom. At that point I hoped I would be able to check out at the cashier and drive fast to get home to go to the bathroom. I barely made it home. We all have to go to the bathroom and women especially need to go more often. The woman in the cat section was rude and did not care that I needed to go to the restroom. She will find herself in that situation one day and I hope she doesn't make it to a restroom in time. read more

I took my dog to the grooming on 4/21 around 12pm, then I received an email around 1:30 saying that my dog was ready to get picked up. I went inside told them that I received a message saying that my dog was ready and they said oh yeah it's just gonna be a 20 more minutes and then I told them I'm like well I received a message saying that my dog was ready and I have work in 20 minutes and the lady up in the front was mad and told me that there's benches outside so you could wait, and the guy up in the front was just being rude. The lady was just mad and I'm never gonna come to this place ever again. I do not recommend anybody to come here. The staff is totally rude. read more

The training program at this PetSmart is exceptional and effective, and we are completely satisfied with the program objectives, the enthusiasm of the staff, and the patience of the trainers. My husband and I signed up for the PetSmart 6-Week Puppy class a couple months ago. There was an unexpected hurdle (week 3) that caused our class to be cancelled/postponed for a few weeks, but PetSmart honored their commitment to the training, and promptly notified us of when another puppy class was available for the same day/time. For the makeup course, our new trainer restarted the series to give our puppy enough time to relearn/reinforce the skills that he previously learned as well as to adjust to the change. In addition, she switched to an agenda-focused as well as a clicker-reward system. At first, our puppy was VERY shy and refused to approach our new trainer nor to perform any commands. However, our trainer was exceptionally patient with our puppy (and us) and slowly started to help us all positively warm up to the new ways of learning/reinforcement. During the training sessions, she is very observant and guides us through how to properly react to certain situations. It is clear that she genuinely cares about both our puppy and us. She also showed us how to make training fun! By week 3, our puppy couldn't wait to start his training each week. So far, our puppy has been through 5 classes, and has been doing exceptionally well. He has learned to sit, wait, walk on a leash, focus, come, potty outside, and various other important skills. In addition, he is able to replicate what he learned in class at home! My husband and I are very satisfied with the 6-Week Puppy class provided by PetSmart. This training has not only improved our puppy's behavior, but also taught us very important skills as new doggy parents. We will definitely be coming back! read more

Horrible !!!!! Please do not take your dog here !!! Save your money, do it yourself or take it to petco or somewhere else... I don't ether know where to start. 1- they tuck 4 hrs to take care of him. You will think no hair cut takes that long unless you doing color or something. But to my surprise when I got him they didn't ether do a haircut. They charge me $80 just to wash him. On the end of the day I will pay more the problem wasn't the price was that I had told them when I make the appointment and when I drop him off and again when they call me to tell me was ready.. he got a hair cut right? And they said yes but when I pick him up he look the same so I call to confirm you guys change me for a haircut ? And then they said ohhh NO we just wash him nothing else. 2- They are really opinionated no one no two, multiple employees they talk to you like you are not paying them. I think they need a check on attitude and someone on corporate have to remain them they don't run there on business and they are customer service employees. They talk to you like you are horrible parent is just discussing. 3- There is not communication at all. My dog is 9 years old almost 10 always tuck him to pet co bc was closer. Amazing employees doesn't matter the location. Now I said ok let me try this one bc my vet partners with Petsmart. ( no discounts). This is one of my local petsmarts , one of my go to's . I came in 15 minutes prior to closing time to return a crate and bed that was was too small for my big puppy who's growing quickly. I've had these items sitting at the corner of my door way for about a week and a half due to how busy I've been and today at 8:15 when I checked my phone I saw I finally had time , I quickly checked what time pet smart closed , I saw 9 and said perfect let me put this all in my car and rush over before they close . I got here just in time . I carried both items to the front where I had seen the bald headed manager , I knew something wasn't going to go well for the same exact reason about a year or 2 ago he gave me troubles over a price match . Today I tried to think positive and return what I needed to return . I did have a receipt until well the hot sun bleached it and to save the hassle and squinting eyes I threw it away as it was not even readable ... so I said you know what it's fine I don't need the money and would rather get merchandise credit which is exactly what the PetSmart website states you will receive if you have no proof and I completely understand. Anywho I told him I have a return and put the heavy crate and the bed into the counter , he then asked for the receipt and I said I don't have it sir , he said okay well we can't return this . I said really ? Not even store credit ? Originally he said no and tried to argue after I offered my phone number knowing I don't use it often so I gave it to him he looked it up and couldn't find it , then after proceeded to say he cannot take any returns at this time due to the fact that it's 10 minutes before closing, and any thief can return before closing . It made absolutely no sense because any thief can return something throughout the day not just night time , and if he was implying to me being a thief that wouldn't make sense I'm literally a little girl (teenager ) who can barley carry the crate like yeah I'd totally run out the door fast enough with this 70 pound crate then come back and if anything he can easily check the cameras from minutes ago seeing I just walked in the building with these 2 items . I have been taking my pitbull Maverick here quite regularly over the past couple of years. He never seems to have the same Groomer for very long because they come and go quickly but their service is good and everybody is kind and helpful. They are not getting five stars because all of them refuse to trim my dogs nails. He becomes frightened and anxious and all he needs is two people to hug and comfort him while they are being clipped. I am still paying them to bathe and brush him at the same price because they do not give a discount even though they're not clipping his nails. I have to arrange for a mobile nail groomer to come to my house and pay the extra money to them as well. Not an ideal situation But I find that the Petsmart groomers are very new to their trade and by the time they are well trained in bathing the dogs they move up to clipping and cutting dogs so it's very rare for you to maintain a relationship with the same team member for long. For now we will keep returning but I wish they would be more personable with him and show him the consideration he deserves. He's a lover but does get a little nervous. read more

I had not planned to do this, but after thinking it over for three weeks, I feel the need to share my recent experiences. I have been a loyal customer of a grooming salon for over seven years and have always been satisfied with their service. However, my last three visits have been highly disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested in helping, and their attitude came across as condescending and rude. Despite paying an average of $120 per visit, there was no appreciation for my business. On one occasion, I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, but they refused to take my dog in, insisting they could only take the dog 15 minutes early, which seemed unfair and unprofessional. During another visit, they kept pointing out everything wrong with my dog. On a third occasion, they told me that my dog had some knots and they would have to shave her to get rid of them. I told the associate that it was not necessary and that if she was not able to get rid of the knots, she could just leave them alone and continue with the bath and brush, and that I would deal with the knots later. The associate did not seem to like that and told me that it was not the way things worked and that she was only allowed to shave them or not provide me with the service. I said it was okay, I was telling her I didn't mind, just not to shave my dog. She said no, either she shaved them or she was not able to help me. At that point, the message was clear, so I left and took my business elsewhere. It's a shame that poor training and lack of customer service lost me as a client because I won't be back, and I won't be doing any shopping at this place anymore. Had a very bad experience with her when she was unable to do the grooming on my dog TWO DIFFERENT TIMES!!!! the problem is that she's the only one complaining about it, when other groomers do the service everything is great. Her actitud and customer service is the worst I ever experienced anywhere, she talks to you like she's scolding you for stuff she couldn't do, just a WITCH in every possible way. 10/10/23 for both the groomers and the cashier. Very subpar customer service. So much attitude from the main groomer at this location (female, short Hispanic) whose been here for years. She has a condescending tone when she speaks and scoffed when giving me my dogs report on how she did. My dog is a little timid and you would think these people would have more compassion. This groomer and the other gave each other a laugh about how scared my dog was which is so rude and uncalled for. Now with the cashier when I went to show my QR code to pay she didn't have any clue of what that was. Her scanner didn't work and it made me have to login to my pet smart account again and she started getting anxious and began tapping her nails trying to rush me. I have brought my dog zoey multiple times to the groomers and they have always done a good job and Zoey always walks out a happy dog loving her min. Spa day! I have also signed up zoey to attend there 6 week puppy training classes and zoey has learned so much. Our trainer Brianna is amazing. Shes so great with the dogs and will explain and help you correct a problem you are having with your dog. They offer many days and times for classes and also offer make up classes. read more

I am very surprised at all the poor reviews here- being that I have come to this Petsmart over the past 6 years and catered to all my pets- Dogs, Cats, Leopard Geckos, Sliders, Rabbits, Rats, Fish and Cocktails etc- I also use the grooming salon for rescues and my own pets and also have Wellness plans through the Banfield for my Dogs and Cats. Petsmart as a retailer - employees customer service is generally 10/10 very kind, attentive and proactive if there is a long line or something. Generally well stocked and good sales- always reference the online prices sometimes their website is 1/2 the price in the store (they honor price matching) Banfield- is a GOD SEND. Especially right now with many vet offices short staffed and appointments pushed out very far- I ALWAYS have many options for scheduling and they genuinely care and follow up all the time. Check in is pretty fast and easy. The Wellness plans for under a year are worth it- in the payments itself. Other coats/fees associated are average but simply accessible. The vet here is so kind- she called me personally and we spoke for 20 min on the phone answering questions. The front staff are all very approachable. Training- Don't. They do not know what they are doing here- I use to train dogs at my old job- and the people here are not educated in dog behaviors and I witnessed first hand a horrible lack of attention and correction to two dogs unattended in the pen while two "trainers" chatted away ignoring the aggression and agitated cues from the two dogs. Regardless I will not lower my review to a 4 star for this because I do not know all the trainers commitment at this location. read more
