This is the closest location to my house, so I feel that I frequent them pretty often. Their staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and we once spent ~20 minutes with an association who told us the best dog food to buy for your money. I also take my dogs here for grooming quite frequently, and although they hate it, I am always very pleased with the results. Neither of my dogs has ever been nicked or injured during their grooming sessions here (which has happened at other places, due to carelessness) so I trust the groomers with my dogs - who can be quite a handful at times. read more

Just off the driving route from work it's convenient for me to stop here. This location never seems overly crowded so I'm usually in and out with food and treats for my "girls". The staff always greats you when entering and let's you know they are there if you have any questions. read more

Took my dog here last month to get a grooming. Was not satisfied at all! My dog was not completely dry after I had picked him up! How can you miss that? He looked like he had been brushed, but his fur coat was still damp! This has never happened to me at any other Pet Smart location. I love to bring my dog here! Just signed him up for some beginner training sessions, the cashier was so nice and even pointed out that there were lots of coupons available in their new puppy booklet that would end up saving us a lot of money. Ended up saving us almost $40 between his food and training! Thank you cashier! Also they sometimes have reps in from the food companies and our favorite food brand Blue Buffalo's rep was extremely helpful in explaining the food differences. read more

They don't like cats here very much. I adopted a cat FROM THAT SPECIFIC STORE, and every time I take him, they will not take him because "they have dogs in the back" even though the front was empty. I just needed his nails clipped. He's a kitten. I've tried on a Monday, Friday, and Saturday. A tall girl with short hair and piercings everywhere was rude last time I went, and blew me off completely. I hope she was just having a bad day because I would not trust my pet with her at all. read more

I purchased some New Beginner puppy classes here and have had a little confusion the past two weeks on when the classes start. I have been meeting with Alexandra the pet trainer the past two times and she was nice enough to reschedule the private classes due to the initial confusion. She works very well with my 7month old Shiba and I. She gives clear concrete examples on how to train your dog using positive reinforcement. Every time I have come into the store the employees have been very responsive and helpful on all my questions. They will even give you coupons to save a couple of bucks once in awhile. I defiantly recommend the puppy classes it's been a huge help in trying to train a pretty stubborn but love able breed of dog. read more

I always used to to to this Petsmart for grooming. Lately though their service has been awful. I went in for an appt and all of the groomers looked so unfriendly. None of them had a smile on their faces. Non of them showed a pleasant personality. I paid for their furminator treatment $93.00 and when I picked up my dog, they didn't brush her out good. She still had loose hair sticking out everywhere. So disappointed with this service. I will never come back to this location for grooming anymore. They are terrible at their job! read more

Absolutely worst Petsmart ever. If you are there to buy fish, good luck. Never anyone around. The two times I went here, I had to wait 10min. for someone to come out. When I realized no one would, I had to yell through the back door to get someone. The cashier just stared at me instead of paging someone. Also you will wait in line forever. If the cashier has a problem, you might as well take a nap. No one will come to help. Lastly you can never get out of their parking lot without waiting at the light for at least 2 cycles. read more

Beware! I bought a puppy from Adopt A Rescue Pet which were set up at this Petsmart on August 30, 2014. The puppy tested positive to Parvo and became sick 5 days after we got him. He passed away on day 12. It was heartbreaking not to mention expensive with vet bills and cremation plus cost of puppy is over $1000. Worse part is we can't get another dog for at least a year because of the parvo in the house which is impossible to get rid of and highly contagious to other dogs. If you adopt try to adopt one that already has his shots also do not let them give puppy shots and neuter surgery on the same day. I would like to see Petsmart in the future not allow young puppies into the store to be adopted unless they have had their first two rounds of puppy shots. Which if owners follow the schedule correctly they would be 14 weeks old with all shots and waiting the two weeks after second shot since it takes two weeks for shot to protect them. read more

The grooming department is awesome, always taking care of Nola's shedding issues. The people at the front are very sweet and you get to know them quickly. I recommend going there for everything, as long as you get a perks card, things are very reasonable. They even email me coupons for stuff I actually need. read more

I've left a review on Google as well just because I want to let everyone know about the new bather they have. I've seen a lot of negative reviews about the grooming salon about how rude they are, and unfortunately I agreed but didn't have any other choice since this petsmart is so close to me, but they have a new bather named Christy and she was so polite and gentle with my dog when I brought him in last week! I watched her for a bit while she trimmed his nails and she was so gentle and never forced him like I've seen ALL the other people working there do. Even when I spoke to her on the phone she was polite and was genuinely concerned about my phone call. Every other time I've called I've been treated like a burden. Unfortunately she can't groom yet, but she can service everything else. Before I left I made sure I got her name so I can tell everyone who has been going here that there is hope again! To be honest I've always taken my dog to Petco however this place is much closer to my house. My dog hates baths and we decided to utilize a grooming service to avoid it. She's been groomed before at Petco numerous times and afterwards she's usually just happy to see us. As most dog owners know, dogs are extremely good at sensing "vibes." We went in and my dog was literally trying to escape the entire time, trying to run towards the door. Never happened before however this time was different. We had to leave and come back due to her vaccinations being done the day before. We came back and the same thing happened, she was whining the entire time because of how stressed she was. When she got home after picking her up it was even worse. She would flinch when we tried to pet her, and she hid underneath our bed for 2 hours. She was a completely different dog. Being an overly active German Shepherd, she can be a lot to handle. However if there are individuals there who cannot understand that dogs are like children and don't know any better, or who have different energy levels, I don't think that grooming is their calling. I won't be going back after how my dog was acting after the service. read more

We have been buying our cat and dog food here for quite some time. Being avid animal lovers, we always check in with the kitty's and play with them if we can. Recently, the last two times we've been here in fact, the conditions that these cats have been living in are absolutely deplorable. It appears as if the company that usually cares for them have taken an extended vacation. The cats are filthy, there is feces all throughout their cages including in their beds and it looks as if they haven't had any care in weeks. Overflowing litter boxes and worse. They charge a ridiculous price for these poor cats already and now they are filthy and not even "marketable." You could find a younger, cleaner, "cuter" kitten at the shelter for less money. Shame on you Pet Smart for allowing this to happen! It takes 20 min for someone to go back there and clean the litter boxes and straighten things up. At least give these poor cats a chance so that they don't have to spend their entire lives living in a pet store. read more

The grooming department at the store is not the brightest or most professional. I made an appt online for my dog. About 20 minutes laters, I got a call from an employee saying their online booking system was wrong and they were actually booked for the day. She was able to get me scheduled for the next day. About 2 hours later another employee called and said "are you sure you're even scheduled at the right store?" Literally that's how she started the conversation. I said yes. She then said we you cancelled an appt last July and told us you were at the wrong store....I told her I didn't even have a dog last year. Needless to say I cancelled my appt. If they can't manage to take care of customers over the phone, how can I trust them to take care of my dog during grooming? Who knows what would happen read more

I've been taking my dog here for about a year now because I take her to banfield pet hospital (great service there by the way) but lately I am just so disappointed in the grooming salon. At first, they were friendly and they would call me every three months to see when I would be bringing my dog back in. The last couple of months though, they're unhappy, unfriendly, inattentive, and just rude. I call to schedule an appointment and they claim they're all booked up but their website says otherwise. I don't feel like my dog is welcome anymore and something about this place isn't right. 10/10 Would not recommend. read more

My puppies first grooming experience a nightmare!!! Came to get my malshi puppy groomed for the first time and she came back nothing like we had asked! My puppy is half Maltese and shihtzu so her breeds coat is that of a shihtzu. We told the groomer that we wanted a "teddybear cut" and even pointed to the picture of a Maltese with the exact cut on the wall. The groomer told us that she would do that cut, however nearly 3 1/2 hours later we come back to find our puppy sloppily cut.. The groomer had shaved down all of her hair around her muzzle! That is not a teddybear cut! Any groomer should know that a teddybear cut requires you leave the length of the muzzle around and round out the face around the jaw line. She then left all her hair around the body long and cut her legs very thin at the bottom. My poor puppy looked absolutely awful. The groomers reasoning was that my puppies hair needed to grow out evenly so "she" decided to shave her muzzle down. Of course my puppy had plenty of hair around her face and muzzle to be able to wear a "teddybear cut" .. I was livid. I ended up buying my own pet clipper set and shaved her down more evenly, however her face now looks like a poodle, and now it will take months to grow back! She also had knicks from the clipper on her stomach, and long patches of hair randomly around her mouth. Absolutely ridiculous ! I will never have my dog groomed there again!!! read more

I went into petco to purchase some food and toys for my dog, and the women that helped me gave me excellent advice. Everything that she told me to get my dog loved!!! At the same time I was buying stuff for my dog, my husband was buying new sharks to add to his fish tank. The guy that helped him had so much information. He was able to tell him what other fish could live with his sharks, what to feed them and what kind set up he would need to make sure his tank was healthy for his fish to live in. read more
