Whoever is training this staff deserves a big shout out because these employees go above and beyond. They take the initiative. They make suggestions. They cheerfully show you where the product is located and share their knowledge. Whether it's locating that one thing you need that they don't have, or locating more than what they have in stock and having it held for you until you can pick it up. They will even special order product for you and call you when it arrives. So nice to have great customer service. I drive over 200 miles just to stock up here. You can't beat their prices. I need this place back home. Free dog wash! For reals? We took our dogs down to hang with my MIL and they were in dire need of a bath. We found this place close by and were pleasantly surprised to see that the DIY dog baths were free. The employee was exceedingly helpful and we managed to wash all three of our pooches with minimal fuss. Shampoo is provided, but I would bring your own towels as none are provided and our dogs hate dryers. We managed with some paper towels, but definitely bringing real towels next time. Of course, I had to buy something to support the store and ended up blowing close to $100 on toys, treats and grooming supplies (lucky dogs). It's actually kind of genius to include the free wash as I would have never spent that much without it. I will say I don't believe they carry the dog food we purchase back home so I can't speak to the food selection, but everything else was plentiful and we will certainly be back the next time we're in town. read more

Huge huge huuuuge fan of this place! Came here a while back when my friend adopted her puppy to get some items since they had to fly back to Denver. But recently I came in here to grab some items for my dog. First of all, this place is pretty big. It's the old Blockbuster Video (remember those?!) that I used to go to all the time when I was younger and lived in the area haha. I decided to head here before heading out with my dog. She is very anxious and I know they sell some CBD treats. Twiggy and I came in and were welcomed immediately. It was so nice. We walked around for a bit and I also found here some peanut butter treats. She is a very picky eater and she loooved these! I also asked the girl at the counter to help me find some CBD treats which were right at the front and she directed me to her favorite brand for her own dog. I got both items and checked out. It was that simple and easy! So nice. They have so many items here for dogs. Treats, clothes, leashes... literally everything you can think of. They even have dog grooming in the back which is so nice, too. I definitely will be getting all my dog supplies here from now on. Great service and a great variety of items! We went here to give our dog, Zoe, one last bath and try to pick up some treats to try to get her to eat. We forgot his name but a male employee there was very helpful. He gave us some samples and Zoe actually was willing to eat it. This is by far my favorite drop while home visiting family and friends. My girl Emma is like a kid in the candy store with all the sniff action she can get and all the fun treats, toys..anything the goodest girl can ask for. They had the cutest little photo prop opp available & Emma was able to take a load off her paws from all the fun she was having sniffing, saying high to the friendliest staff and other pups that came in too. It's definitely a must stop & sniff all the goods for your fur family member. I will say I was HIGHLY disappointed as we were checking out there was an aggressive dog behind the counter w/ the employees.I understand pets are welcomed in but it's an uncomfortable feeling when you hear a deep growl coming from behind the counter as it was obviously an employees animal that should not be allowed or condoned by the owner of the store and should speak to the employees about the dog's behavior as a situation could arise. For this reason I removed 2 stars as my dog is a service animal & being placed in that situation was totally unacceptable. He's an 85lb pitbull and some people at pet stores (or in general) can be apprehensive sometimes due to the breeds bad reputation but everyone here has always been so welcoming and so loving towards him, which is great because he loves a new hand to give him ear scratchies. I appreciate that so much, he loves love! We get his orijen tundra kibble for about 15-20 bucks less than at petco and order his orijen freeze dried patties for him here for about 10 bucks less. 25-30 bucks in savings might not sound like a ton but when youre spending 180 every 3-4 weeks it sure helps!! Their rewards program also gives you 60 dollars off every 500 dollars (Its also usable at smaller discount increments, i just always save up the points) which helps an extra bunch. We generally love Dog Supply Outlet and have had great experiences at other locations (hence the 3 stars) but our visit to this specific store was disappointing due to an interaction with an employee named Taylor. When I asked Taylor if they had the new Open Farm puppy food, he went on a lengthy speech about how sweet potato, chicken, beef, and other proteins could be good or bad for puppies. He even claimed that puppies don't need puppy food and can eat anything, just in larger amounts. Having consulted multiple people, including my vet, I know this statement is false. Taylor then asked if we use grain or grain-free food, and when we said grain-free, I felt very judged. He kept pushing us to buy something else, and when we chose our usual product, he walked away, clearly annoyed. To make matters worse, Taylor was Googling information right in front of us by asking Siri, which felt unprofessional and showed a lack of expertise. He continued to talk about how you should feed your puppy based on the desired adult weight, which is also incorrect and shows a lack of understanding. He kept emphasizing his supposed expertise in the field, stating he's been doing this for "x amount of months/years." We value accurate information and a non-judgmental shopping experience, neither of which were provided by Taylor. While we still appreciate Dog Supply Outfit overall, this particular visit left us frustrated and disappointed. We live a lot closer to this location however after the discomfort i felt, we will be making the drive to the Valle Verde Location. read more

We also bought a few different bully sticks and collagen sticks for our puppies, and as I mentioned, the two ladies working worse very helpful and informative. one thing that I really love about this store is they have a fantastic do it yourself dog wash station with shampoos, containers, removable shower nozzle to assist in getting your furbabies really clean with clean with nice, wide steps that go up to a door that then opens up into the bath stall. And, it's free! You just have to bring your own towel. We will definitely be utilizing that frequently! read more

They give points for free dog gear and even have a bag count so when you reach an amount of purchase you receive a free bag - Amazon doesn't provide that. I think is very cool that they offer a free station to wash and blowdry your buddy and they even do free nail clipping? Sign me UP! My mom had seen the location last week and I thought it was too good to be true. I drove by today and there doors were literally wide open and welcoming. They stated they were still in soft opening and will be fully open in July but this shop is so clean and pristine and organized ... I would honestly use the word beautiful. They also let me know that they will have the bath station and nail trims ready to go in July too. I walked in and was able to easily find the food for my dogs. I behaved and didn't get any other toys (but I absolutely looked!) or treats. When checking out, all of my previous points and food bag rewards had transferred. The two gentlemen that assisted me also gave me samples for my dog. My dog was thrilled! This is an amazing addition to the Inspirada/Anthem area and I can't wait to support them as their business grows! read more
