We usually don't have anything bad to say about this pet hotel but our last time was very concerning. We have two Shih Tzus that are always together so we specifically told them not to separate them but they did. They were there for 5 days. They put my girl dog in the back with other loud dogs barking so she was alone and traumatized. They didn't pay attention to them because when we picked her up, she was covered in pee and throw up and was not herself. Her leg was also messed up from her licking it and came back with ulcers in her mouth which made it painful to eat.They also gave us the wrong blanket back which shows that they didn't pay attention. Their excuse was that they have new workers but that's not an excuse. Never again. read more

Conveniently located, well stocked, very organized store. Just popped in to buy dog shampoo - there was a whole rack of clearance items, including soap free, medicated dog shampoos - half off the already reduced ticket price. (A giant bottle of light lavender scented gentle medicated soap cost me 8 bucks). The salesgirl convinced me to make this purchase - good job! Since it was so inexpensive, I added $1 for animal shelter care donations. That's a smart (PetSmart!) way to get donations! They were promoting a reduced dog grooming package too this weekend and there were lots of cuties getting a summer haircut. read more

Had my dog stay with the pets hotel & doggy day care for a few days. When we picked him up he was insanely sick throwing up. He also had poop on his ears, tail, & all over his paws. He was very dehydrated and super lethargic which is unusual for him because he's a husky. He's been home for 2 days now and acts as if he went through a very traumatic experience. I definitely do not recommend having your animals stay with this hotel. read more

Came in for a walk-in to trim my puppy's nails at 10am. Right at the start, one of the ladies had an attitude stating they recommended an appointment. Then she mentioned she would page overhead in 10-15 minutes. When we went back to the salon after 25 minutes, another staff said the lady had paged for 5-10 minutes and thought we had left. We were inside the store waiting, and my husband was even outside their glass door where they could see him. Another lady said to schedule an appointment. I said, walk ins were available online. Another lady responded, "WHEN available" as if they did not want to simply trim my 3 month old puppy's nails. Very rude. I wouldn't come back to these groomers. I'd still visit the store, but not the groomers. read more

Made an appointment to get my french bulldog a bath and brush I was quoted less than $30. My wife dropped off our dog then they called her 15mins later stating our dog was ready for pick up. They kept calling harassing me and my wife to pick up our dog that was Just dropped of like wtf. Then when my wife gets there the bill was well over $60. On top of that my dog wasn't even fully cleaned and her nails weren't trimmed. This place is a total rip off Beware!!! read more

I am giving this rating based on the check out process for my dog's recent stay (8/4-8/8/22). At the time of the phone reservation I confirmed the services & the costs for Lulu's stay. I also confirmed there would be a Sr. Discount of 10% applied upon checkout. I stated that my Personal Assistant would be dropping Lulu off and picking her up. She is registered as the Emergency Contact on Lulu's record. I have Mobility issues & was also going to be out of town during Lulu's drop off & pick up. At check out with Community Cashier-375573 my assistant was informed that in order to receive the Sr. Discount the Dog Owner had to be present. My assistant was adamant about the discount being honored. She had MY Credit Card & authorization to act on my behalf. The cashier did finally honor the discount but Stated that Next Time the Owner does Have to be present in order to receive the Discount. I'm writing this so that other Seniors may benefit from my experience. Unless I can be assured in the future that the discount will be honored regardless of who picks up my dog, I may be reticent to use this Hotel again. Monica H was an AMAZING GROOMER! PetSmart is lucky to have an employee so dedicated in making the customer feel confortable during COVID-19 . She followed all the safety precautions when arriving and when getting our dog after the service. I would highly recommend your groomer to all my friends. Gave 1 star because I can't give a ZERO placed a same day delivery order and was missing an item. Ordered on PETSMART WEBSITE and delivered by doordash. Placed a call as I was missing my dog food $44 and was told I had to take it up with doordash well there is no doordash info and I placed the order on the persmart website. So no way to get either a order of the food or money back! Shitty customer service I will never shop petsmart again and I have been a loyal customer. Do the customer dirty you lose business... There was no consideration for other customers while the lady spent like 7 minutes doing a consultation with a single person who had questions about dog camp and wasn't even a paying customer. The prices are higher (comparatively) for dog food, supplies, Pets Hotel & grooming. I keep coming back to this location for dog food because it's convenient, well stocked, clean & organized. The employees are helpful and courteous. There is a wide variety of dog food & treats. I have always found the dog food to be fresh & my dogs have been healthy. My kids enjoy looking at the pretty cats, birds, critters, fish & accessories. We've left our dogs at this location's Pets Hotel & we won't be doing this anymore. Our dogs weren't happy & the hotel is pricey. We were nickle & dimed for every service. Like a separate fee to walk our dogs & a seperate fee to have our dogs interact with other dogs, etc. The prices also varied on the type of boarding kennels & rooms (some with cameras). We had dropped off our dogs well groomed at the hotel & with their own dry food. Unfortunately, our dogs were too sad to even eat. The hotel caretakers contacted us to let us know that our dogs wouldn't eat their food and we authorized for them to feed our dogs wet food for a separate fee. The wet food ended up upseting our dog's tummies a little. It would've been a good idea for the employees to give us an option on the type of wet food especially if we paid for it. When we returned to pick up our dogs they were super stinky but happy to see us. read more

You know, I really don't understand your hiring process here. when I see horrible people at your cash register, then it's like seriously do you not know how to hire people? I came in here literally tonight is November 22nd. I rushed over here to buy a carrier for my pet and just decided on a leash. Your cashier ALEX already has a horrible attitude with his other customers and when I get to him he puts my phone number in and doesn't even start ringing up my items he just says "what?" Like ??? Whatever I get past this, and I notice I got the wrong card out of my wallet. I tell him I'll be right back my car is right out and he says "well we close in 2 minutes soo" I say "well can't you just wait we have an ongoing transaction my car is right out" and he just shrugs and says "I'm just saying" so I just left. A blonde old looking lady working the night shift was ringing us as we were paying for our dogs food for $60 my boyfriend takes out the wallet and almost hands her the credit card instead of the debit card then switches. This lady has the nerve to say, "oh you really need to use another card to pay for that much" ... since when do we have to explain ourselves to a cashier of what card we will use to make OUR PURCHASES WITH OUR MONEY THAT WE MAKE. I have a yorkie poodle and it's hard to find a groomer who can give him a short cut, especially around his face. Sun did an amazing job on his haircut and made him feel very comfortable! Highly recommend her. Will definitely be coming back :) read more

I would not recommend PetSmart grooming services to anyone at this location. Took my goldendoodle in for grooming and made an appointment with Alyssa Rae M. Showed them a photo of how I'd like my dog's hair to be. When I picked him up, there were razor burns/nicks on his nose and chest areas, and patches of bald spots on his legs. His nose had some reddened areas/dried blood. They claimed he was severely matted. I understand they couldn't follow the photo and grooming was difficult because he was matted, but 1) they never called me to inform me of that, and 2) we've had to get him cut really short at other places, and the results were much better than our experience at Petsmart. We used the Petsmart Pets Hotel for a quick 6 hour visit on August 6. We booked a private suite because our dog doesn't do well with other dogs. The service was fine but about a week later our dog had two strains of kennel cough and was not doing well. She recovered after antibiotics and a big vet bill. I mentioned this to a friend who told me their dog also got kennel cough after staying at the same place. The vet told me the Bordetella vaccine can only reduce the chance of a severe case of kennel cough- similar to the Covid vaccine. I figured since she didn't come in direct contact with other dogs she would be safe. However, the space wasn't thoroughly disinfected and she ended up sick. read more

I bought my puppy to this location to be groomed. His type of breed his hair grows very long very quickly and can get matted easily. I knew I did not want him to be shaved yet though, I simply needed a puppy haircut with his body trimmed with scissors. Which is EXACTLY what Petsmart shows and advertises online. I brought him in and immediately had a bad feeling. The girl I booked for seemed annoyed she had an appointment and would only trim his face and paws. She said puppies don't do well with the clippers/shears. I explained that's fine because I don't want that, I just needed his fur trimmed a little bit with scissors (again exactly as advertised). She said they don't do that. Apparently they either are too lazy to do what is advertised on the website or it's false advertising. I then asked how long it would be and she said 3-4 hours, which was longer than online said for a full haircut. I left him at first but knew based on the initial interaction it was a terrible idea so I went back in and got him. Maybe he would have been fine but there was no way I was risking it after the initial interaction. read more

We booked an appointment for our dog to get grooming services and upon my arrival they said there wasn't anyone to do a wash and there was 3 groomers there and kept looking at each other asking who wants to do it! Then they asked one girl and she asked what kind of dog and they told her Frenchie and she rolled her eyes in front of me! Sooo unprofessional and the worst experience ever. So I booked my 1 year old chocolate lab his first ever grooming appointment. He is the sweetest boy ever and would never hurt a soul. I walked in and the lady asked if this was his first time getting groomed and I said yes. She came over to come grab him and my dog was scared at first. My dog definitely thought he was at the vet. She gave him less than a minute to warm up to her and she goes ooooo I see it in his eyes he looks scared. Then just shoved her hand in his face and he gave her a little growl. Automatically she goes nope I can't do it. You have to go somewhere else he is mean and dangerous. I would never bring my dog somewhere if I knew or thought of him to be aggressive. DO NOT use the grooming salon here!! I've always taken my dog here for grooming (had him since he was 3, he's now 11). There were some great groomers here in the beginning, then they got a new staff. First, they shaved my dogs face, he's a Havanese and now I find out that they haven't been trimming his nails, which is standard with grooming service and which they also claim that they did every time on the pawgress report I received. So the nail grew and curved and got embedded into the pad of his paw!!! Poor guy! I woke up to his crying and blood all over the floor and him. Rushed him to my vet for them to remove the embedded nail from his pad. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if you love your animal DO NOT send them to the salon here. My mom and I stopped by here to prepare for a big event with 10 guide dogs in attendance. We loaded our cart with various dog toys, foofie sprays, poop bag holders, and more. We ran into Stipe (I hope I'm spelling his name properly, I know it was nothing I've seen before). Stipe assisted us with finding and recommending products that we would have bypassed (we were buying Pet Head spray, and he was eager to show us the holiday special scents). We ended up falling in love with the Apple Cobbler scent and added a few to our cart. When it came time for us to check out, Stipe was also our cashier. We ended up spending way more than planned, but were really happy with the way Stipe treated us. You don't see such accommodating customer service nowadays. Stipe's manager, if you're reading this, this man deserves a raise! read more

He spent 7 nts at the hotel and i could not be happier :) i have had a bad experience a couple yrs ago at a different pet hotel (not petsmart), and that made me not want to board Bubba with anyone but family. Really like the Doggy Daycamp + Boarding here at this location -- the staff is always friendly and my dog seems to be happy to go in and he's in a good mood when he comes back home! I feel safe leaving my dog here and have peace of mind that he's taken care of when I am away. My location for day camp and beginner dog training classes. So far day camp has been a good experience everyone is so nice and treats my pup like there own. The classes with Pat have been great so far I have learned so much in such a short period of time. UPDATE! Just called the store manager and she could care less about my complaint. She said she'd forward it to the grooming manager and hung up. ALERT MANAGEMENT! The worker Tressa/Tessa in the grooming salon and Vanessa are completely rude and unprofessional people working in the grooming salon. I dropped my dog off for grooming in the late morning and was told 2 to 3 hrs. 12:30 and 1:30 roll around and nothing. I run errands and continue to wait. I then get a call at 6:30 by Tressa or whatever her name is and she's yelling at me saying she's called me and my mailbox is full. I'm like no it's not my phones right here and I haven't gotten a call. She then says yes I've tried and I say my phones right here and it's not full. She then says she's called my grandma. My grandmas 80. I don't even know her number. How could she call my grandma. She just wants to scold me and be rude. I tell her I'm going to come get her. My boyfriend then gets my dog and the women proceeds to scold my boyfriend. I immediately call and get their names. HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES PETSMART! They clearly lack customer service and are arguing with the client. They should be fired or replaced. read more

I don't normally place a review on a place but this one I felt I should. I have not been so disappointed in a pet boarding place as this one. I dropped off my two dogs, an 11 year old shih-tzu and a 1 year old chihuahua at 7am at this pet hotel for the first time. Let the front people know that my 11 year old is partially blind and can get scared and defensive if he feels threatened esp if he does not know who is coming for him. But eventually he will feel better once he is used to the environment. With that said, I get a call from a Michelle at 5pm that same day only to tell me I need to pick up my dog because he is "too vicious". While in the meantime, I am miles away on vacation!! After I told her there was no way we can pick him up because "we are on vacation, hence why we dropped off my dogs at the pet hotel!" She tells me to find a friend, neighbor, or relative to pick him up. In the meantime, I am now stressed out because if I had a anyone to pick him up and care for him, I would not have brought him there, so she tells me to call her once I find someone. She proceeded to leave me several messages that evening last message at around 930p to again tell me to get someone to pick up my dog! I asked for a video or picture of my dogs, and instead of trying to get me to understand what is wrong she tells me they cant do that. We are supposed to trust a place that have supposedly trained employees that know how to deal with animals and this place obviously does not, at least not the employees that worked that night. Not to mention her communication skills needed improvement. I called the next day to check up on my dogs and I guess it must have been a more experienced shift bec they apparently had no problem getting him out to walk. They said he was initially nippy but he eventually was able to be lead out and they mentioned nothing about me having to pick him up and that he and my other dog are doing fine. I spoke to the assistant manager and he even said the dogs are fine. Overall, I gave them 4 stars for the employees that knew how to deal with my dog patiently and ZERO stars for the shift of employees, esp this Michelle, that worked that night Aug 1st that made me feel stressed out!!!! Spent too much at this place only to make someone feel unrelaxed on my vacation. My poor dogs....they were obviously happy to see me and my kids. I booked foe my dog to stay at the hotel, enjoy a session of play time and booked grooming . The grooming cancelled my appointment for grooming claiming they close at 5 when my appointment was at 4 . I told them my dog was in the hotel and they then apologized that they would not be able to service him. The 2 offices do not communicate . It was a lot of holding time and discrepancy's . Second they did not feed him as directed . The canned food was not even opened .I will not bring my dog here again . read more
