Just from one swipe with a brush

I have two huskies I bring them in every three weeks maybe sometimes will go a little longer. They always come out sparkling clean and ready to go. I took them both in yesterday to get a bath and good brush. I always do the furminator plus package. First of all I've never really cared when I hear employees constantly complaining because sometimes we all have bad days. This was the worst I've ever heard them talk normally they will laugh it off. I could tell these people were not happy. They weren't really rude at all but everyone was clearly miserable. I dropped them off at 1:30 normally they get them done really quickly. I told them I couldn't pick up till after 5. They said it was fine! Normally after I pick up my dogs they barley shed and they smell amazing. Not yesterday. It was my fault for not noticing it sooner they were shedding even worse then when I brought them off. They smelled like literal feces. They didn't say they had any accidents so I'm not sure what happened . But it is very obvious that they were not brushed or blown out. I call to see what we could do and I was hung up on. Just not okay. I even tipped the girl before I left. I come in all the time and I'm just not understanding why I paid all that money for them to come out worse then when I took them in. Updated: After look over my male I Started looking over my female and notice her ear is bleeding. She has a bunch of dry blood and I tried to look at her ear as close as she would let me but she cries when I touch it. Her ear was not like this before she went in. I looks like some sort of cut on the inside of her ear. I got a moment to call back in today and they told me someone would reach out tomorrow. Hopefully someone does. I will never be going back to this place seeing how they handled this situation to begin with. I don't know what happened after I dropped them off. But this really is just not okay at all.

Ninth Street Barking Lot - Tired pups getting picked up from day care

They told me she rolls in poop--something she's never done at her regular daycare or at home in 10 years. Regardless, I'd probably rather they just take the coat off of her that soak her trying to get it off in freezing temperatures. But what hurt my feelings the most is that they had my 19 lb dog completely isolated, which they confirmed when I asked and only even know because I live nearby and saw her all alone when I walked to pick her up. They said it was bc she was "too aggressive with the hose," and had to be kept away from them. Which again, it was freezing--why is that even an issue? She's a jack Russell & definitely hyperactive but I feel like people who run a business taking care of dogs would understand that without trying to shame us for it and blame that for their own poor care. It bothers me that if I hadn't seen it and asked them, I may have continued to pay them money to be unkind to my dog. I may be spoiled by her regular daycare where then genuine care about her, but it was an awful experience. And not for nothing, with the exception of one woman who was 40ish with a ponytail, all of the staff was actively rude and acted like you were annoying them by walking in the door. And their website is TERRIBLE.

Now his baby brother Walter the basset goes too and he LOVES it. The boys always come home happy and tired. Your staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. An especially BIG THANK YOU, for taking care of our boys while I'm in CA on a crisis nursing contract. My husband has been left alone with our two crazy dogs. If it weren't for you he'd be crazy too! For anyone looking for the best doggy day care in town you've found it! It's Ninth Street Barking Lot. Best staff, best service and very reasonable pricing.

    Fur Lab

Extremely Disappointed with Fur Lab - Time to Find a New Groomer…read more I've been taking my dog to Fur Lab for the past two years. Our very first appointment was fantastic -- the groomer did an excellent job, and I left feeling confident we'd found a solid place. Sadly, that groomer left soon after, and things have gone downhill ever since. Despite being promised multiple times that my dog would be seen by someone familiar with his breed, every appointment since that first one has been frustrating and disappointing. At one point, they completely forgot to groom his undercarriage. When I brought it up, the only fix they offered was to drive all the way back in so they could "squeeze him in." The correction was rushed and looked choppy at best. At our most recent visit, I specifically requested a new groomer with experience and was told that would be arranged. Instead, they booked the wrong service -- after two years of the exact same grooming request. Although this was noticed at drop-off and supposedly corrected, when I came back to pick him up, they hadn't even done the updated service. The one thing I emphasized -- deshedding his double coat in the middle of summer -- was completely forgotten. And again, his undercarriage was untouched. I pointed it out at pickup, only for them to do a rushed, patchy job. I called to speak with the manager -- not in, of course -- and passed along my frustration to the front desk. But at this point, I'm done. Fur Lab has wasted my time again and again. Their trims and baths don't come close to the quality of our previous groomer in Texas. Now I'm stuck looking for a reputable grooming facility in Oklahoma. Bottom line: Avoid Fur Lab. There are far better options out there.
