My visit at the Pinole PetSmart was disappointing due to the service I received from Patricia. I clearly explained what I wanted, I didn't want my dog fully balled. She mentioned there was a lot of knots yet her whole appointment was only 40 minutes got a call right away that she was ready. The lack of professionalism is disappointing. Definitely not going back.

This is the injured my dog suffered while getting groomed at this Petsmart location. Stay away.

They injured my dog, didn't tell us, I've written a letter to the corporate offices with no response. Don't take your dog there.

Been coming here for years, monthly to get my dog washed and groomed. They do such a good job. Top dog treatment package and nail grind will run you about $70 but totally worth it. 5 stars.

There all full of shit now. I had an appt scheduled 3mo in advance for my dog and I get a text not a call a text that my appt was cancelled so I call and ask why and was told the groomer is out on leave. Ok fine so I noticed that there prices have increased since my prior booking of my cancelled appt. And the manager refused to honor my original price of $59 on an appt they had cancelled. So now it's my problem and I now have to pay the price increase of $69 to reschedule. Horrible customer service! I would also like to mention I have had my 13lb yorkie for 9yrs and NEVER! Have I been told by a groomer until my last visit that I will be charged an extra $12 mixed breed fee" wtf is that? He's a yorkie with no extra effort needed to groom him! What in the scam is going on here just ridiculous and uncalled for. Do better PetSmart Grooming!

We all had different ways of how to train him and it was causing a rift in the family. I was turned down by some trainers until I came across Jonathan Wong's page. He was local, he was fast to get back to me and he was willing to give us a chance after everything I told him. Kody still has a long way to go and I will continue with Jonathan as his trainer, but it is night and day after three months of training with Jonathan. He was dog and people aggressive, to the point we had to avoid them entirely. We can now go for walks, albeit we move opposite of any dog and can keep walking without any barking or pulling. He was always actively pulling on the leash and bad at recall. He is loose leashed now and responds with recall with our daughter. In the end I had to get use to the idea that Kody was a crate or muzzle dog when it came to large crowds or people in our home. I felt awful but Jonathan was so supportive and positive as I came to terms with it. I hope as we continue to train with Jonathan and Kody builds his confidence that soon things might change for him. Jonathan has such a kind soul and so encouraging when it comes to both us and Kody. I cannot thank Jonathan enough for what he has done for us. He left solid foundations for us to grow on. Kody is such a sweet and smart boy, and we always want the best for him. Jonathan truly is the best.

I realized how stressed I felt taking them to a vet boarding place, where my fur babies sit in a jail cell mostly isolated from people and fun. Bonnie interviewed my dogs and assessed whether they were a good fit and could get along with other dogs. Bonnie made sure to send me pictures of them at rest and play, while we were away, which helped us relax and have fun, too. They have a great yard with fenced in areas, which allow for separation if needed. I think most of the time the poochies run and play, and then crash at night from a long day of fun. They really know dogs, and I was impressed at their compassion and humor while also keeping a watchful eye on how the dogs interacted with each other. We had already tried multiple trainers, different techniques, and even followed our vet's suggestion to try antidepressants--but nothing was helping (in fact, the medication only made things worse). The moment I spoke to Kathy on the phone, I felt confident she truly understood the problem and could guide us in the right direction. And she absolutely has. Over the past year, Checkers has made tremendous progress thanks to Kathy's knowledge, patience, and the clear guidance she gave us. We followed her suggestions carefully--even switching vets based on her recommendation--and the results have been life-changing. Earlier this year, we had to travel out of the country and trusted Kathy to board Checkers. During that time, he developed a beautiful bond with her partner Dan. This was nothing short of amazing, as Checkers has always been fearful of men. Watching their relationship grow has been such a gift. With Kathy's help (and the influence of her own two balanced dogs), Checkers has learned how to be a dog--something I once thought might never happen. He now participates in pack walks and can even run off-leash in the fields, something I couldn't have imagined a year ago. If you're struggling with your dog's behavior and feel like nothing is working, do yourself and your dog a favor and call Kathy. She and Dan have changed our lives, and I am endlessly grateful for the care and dedication they've shown to Checkers and to us.

He had such a severe issue with lunging at other dogs during walks that I became incredibly concerned he was aggressive. As a result, I started avoiding other dogs altogether and kept him out of the dog park because I was convinced he was dangerous. To address this, I decided to try their pack walks, which focus on different training areas--including leash reactivity. After a few pack walks, I saw a huge improvement. Enzo did great, and there was no leash reactivity at all! That success encouraged me to invest in formal training, so we enrolled in the four-week program with Zoe. The program included two to three training days for Enzo and one for me each week. After just a couple of weeks, I noticed an immediate change--starting with significantly less leash pulling, which was amazing. But what Zoe really did was build a solid foundation and give me the tools I needed to continue working with Enzo. Make no mistake, training takes effort, and you have to put in the work. However, after feeling so anxious about walking him before, my stress level has dropped significantly, and I'm actually enjoying our training sessions using the skills Zoe taught me. Enzo and I both still have work to do, but the foundation has been set--it's up to me now to continue his progress. The transformation has been incredible. He's like a different dog! If you're looking for quality training, I highly recommend Urban Training Dog.

The way it works is you purchase a token at the cash register (I think there's a usual deal of buy 3 get one free). I believe 1 token is about 20 minutes total of wash/soap, rinse and dry. They've got 5 bathing stations and one of them has its own wall that's convenient for those dogs that just can't be too close to another dog. They supply you with everything you need - each station has it's own water hose that includes the shampoo (3 different options), they also supply extra shampoo if you need it, aprons, and clean towels. The staff keeps this area very clean and are pretty quick to cleanup the stations after people leave to get it ready for the next person. It's probably busiest during the morning and there could be long lines but so far I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes and luckily my dog is more patient nowadays. There is also an emergency button that can be activated in case a dog decides to get slippery and escape the tub! I haven't seen it used (thankfully) but I think it's designed to ensure all doors are closed so the dog can't get out of the building. My interactions with all the staff at different occasions have all been very positive. Whether it was a question about baths, food, supplements, first aid, or treats they have all just been helpful, very knowledgeable, and always friendly!

Over the last few weeks, things escalated to the point where she began attacking our other dog whenever someone came to the door or a package was delivered. During one of these incidents, my husband was accidentally bitten while trying to break up a fight. That's when we realized we needed professional help -- fast. It had gotten so serious that we had even begun discussing the heartbreaking possibility of rehoming her, simply for the safety of everyone involved. That fear, and the emotional pain that came with it, weighed heavily on our hearts. But after just one session with Gusty, that painful thought is now firmly in the past. Enter Gusty. In just one session, our lives changed. The nuisance barking stopped entirely. Our dog no longer jumps up on us when we walk through the door, even when she's excited. Her nipping and playfully aggressive behavior has been replaced by belly-up submissiveness and endless kisses. She's calmer, more docile, and truly feels like a different dog. What impressed me most was that all of this happened while my four-year-old son was in the background, constantly needing my attention. Gusty was incredibly patient, understanding, and focused throughout. She clearly cares deeply about what she does and wants nothing more than to help dogs and their human family. During our next sessions, we'll work on leash training and eventually help our dog learn that she doesn't need to be so protective of our son. Based on what we've already seen, I have no doubt that training will go just as smoothly. I can't recommend Gusty enough. She's a life-changer -- compassionate, professional, and absolutely amazing at what she does.
