Made an appointment with Christina at 3PM and thought we were all set. Saw that she had some good reviews so why not? We are disappointed in the judgement on our dog. You can tell they immediately didn't want to help us. She had the assumption that he was a biter even though we said he wasn't. We told him he has been to the groomers before and for some reason she misconstrued that and asked, "So you said he's bit the groomer?" When did I even say that??? I came here before with Natasha C. and she was an angel when it came down to taking care of him; even helped us figure out a plan to trim his nails since that's his sensitive spot. Natasha was a splendid groomer but one day we tried to book with her and it seems like she no longer works here. If you're out there, god I wish I could book you again. We THOUGHT we would get the same treatment again, but we were wrong. You could tell my dog was nervous being there, shy, but he never shows signs of aggression to humans EVER. Apparently she said he had his teeth out as if to bite, but, my boyfriend and I were there and never saw that other than him panting from being out for a while. They told us to step out and we observed thinking they accepted him but they waved us back in and turned us away. No clue why, but she said his teeth were out again and by that time we were over it. It's like she so badly wanted our dog to be aggressive. I wouldn't trust her anyways, seeing that they can handle a clearly distressed dog that was in there barking but not my dog who's nervous but not to the other dog's extent. Not one bark, growl, or snarl from our dog. If you're going to be grooming dogs, don't just pick and select the ones you want to groom. So we left and when I checked the app, his groomer name changed to Chloe when I specifically called for Christina. Immediately cancelled. Don't think we'll come back again. Don't bring your dog. I've been with this PetSmart for their grooming service for a year now. Now that Eunice transfered to Glendale, I decided to try another groomer. Big mistake on my part thinking I can trust these people. My dog doesn't do well on collar, and when recieving my dog, instead of picking him up, she just lets him choke. Even then, she still refuses to pick him up. I guess I was too afraid to say anything, and placed too much trust in others. I regret it. My dog came home terrified of my family and me extending our arms to him to give him treats. He won't even take scraps. Also his hair cut wasnt even teddy bear, and there's a lump of fur on his back that isn't consistent with the rest of his body. If you love to over pay for poor service and pet trauma, this is a great place. read more

The following is me judging the new grooming lead Jacqueline: I always take my babies here and book with Eunice because she always treates Tommy and Gabbana so well. But now that Eunice has moved/transferred to Glendora, tired to book with Gabby. I go in thinking Gabby was going to groom my 14+ year old pup Tommy. I meet the new grooming lead, Jacqueline. Off the bat gives me attitude and tries to tell that Tommy is extremely matted when I know for sure you can easily brush it out(I've done it before takes me 15mins max and Eunice has done it with no issue either: tommy has very tight curls he's a mini poodle thats why it looks matted but not really). All while Jacqueline is sitting there I tell Gabby that Tommy has age skin tags and to be careful, Jacqueline hears this too. Ok i fill out matting paper work because Jacqueline says I have too just in case, my ass, I leave Tommy with GABBY the one I booked with. I return 4hours later, with my best friend to pick him up and I'm still thinking Gabby groomed him. I come to get the paper barcode to paper and to my surprise Jacqueline groomed Tommy not Gabby, the person I booked him with . Why? I have no clue! I booked with Gabby not you Jacqueline. Why have a booking system if you are not going to follow through. And also I got the matting fee of $15. Fine, whatever I'll pay. Bff, Tommy and I head out the store. We arrive at the carabd my friend is carrying him i turn as soon as she brings tommy to my eye level and I see a cut on my babies front lower part of his leg. I look down to his hind leg BOOM another cut at a skin tag. At this point I am fuming with anger. I know it hurts him cause he whinces when i touched it. We head back in and I let the manager know. Just as I am telling the store manager, also my first time meeting her, Jacquelines passes by and is cery defensive about the situation making it seem like it was my fault because I didn't tell her where the skin tags were. Look if your a groomer your supposed to check his body since I told her Tommy had skin tags and to be careful and you over heard me tell that to Gabby because I also looked at Jacqueline in the face as I said it. Also she never apologzied for hurting Tommy. The i never like to complain if the hair cut it a bit off but this is a big NO! Never hurt my baby and then act like it's my fault. Anyway make sure that if you do go with the new grooming lead, JACQUELINE. Beware she doesn't care about your dog getting hurt. Also Tommy loves getting groomed so he literally just melts in your hands and doesn't move much so it couldn't have been him moving around either. Make sure you're dog fets groomed with the person you booked with and trust in because this new lead will take upon herself to take other groomers dogs. Here are the pictures of the skin tag cuts. Oh and i literally found a 3rd skin tag cut, by the way. This would have never happened with Eunice, sadly she is too far for me. I miss you Eunice! read more

I always use the same groomer so I'm not sure what happened but basically paid over $80 for my dogs to have patches of missing hair. Btw my dog is shih tzu mixed chihuahua and they charge for the more expensive breed cut even if the dog has the cheaper bread hair. read more

Reptiles, woo hoo! I used to have a pet bearded dragon a long time ago. He was a great companion and always chill. So when I saw this PetSmart my instinct was to go inside and look at reptiles. Ah yes the memories kicked in. They got a small selection which is ehh but they look healthy and energetic which is way more important. I've thought of getting another beardy buddy again but wouldn't have the time because I'm currently loving 2 dogs full-time haha I did like this PetSmart. Very clean, organized, and has helpful staff. The grooming section looks great too. I would bring my dogs here if they didn't have a regular groomer. Brought my dog to get groomed here, the groomer was extremely rude and unprofessional. Charged extra for everything they could. When I didn't want to get the upgrades for grooming she did not do a good job at all. I told her specifically to shave my dog's sanitary areas and dry her ears and yet when I picked her up none of that was done. She also charged me 8 dollars more for my dog having matted areas behind her ear (which was because the same groomer never did a good job drying her ears last time). If you care at all about your pets, this is not the place to bring them. They will find anyway to charge you extra, a 50 dollar grooming appointment will go to 120 from all the unnecessary fees read more

If your dog CHEWS through a product it's not the company's fault or responsibility to replace an item that Was chewed because you weren't supervising your dog. These things aren't indestructible. They weren't meant to be chewed up, if you're supposed to supervise your dog with non edible toys guess what , you have to supervise your dog with (non edible)training equipment as well. And if your dog has a chewing problem it has to do with anxiety and therefore you need training. I don't know how pet parents still don't understand this concept. This review is for the Grooming Salon Took two of my Pomeranian pups (almost 3 months old) in for Puppy Trim at this Petsmart location today. We got welcomed by Jessica, who is also our stylish. She consult and make sure to give them what I wanted. Picked them up around 3 hours later, and I could not be happier and more satisfy about the result. My babies are smelling really good and they seem not too frustrated for their first time experience. Their nails are trimmed, fur are fluffy and also got a little back trim from Jessica. They also gave them little bandanas and also a cute watermelon hanger to put on their colar. Overall, this is our first experience at the salon and we love it. She really tried her very best to work with her. She was gentle and really gave me every alternative and option for my pup to get the best haircut she can. This Petsmart location has been opened for only a couple weeks. It's a bit smaller than the other locations that I have been to. But kudos to this store for being absolutely clean (grand opening) and hiring a very helpful associate who helped me with the aquarium accessories. I was looking for smaller charcoal filter packs to help keep my tank clean, and she was by my side the whole time. Even though as we spoke, I felt she wasn't too knowledgeable about some of the accessories, and if she did make some things up, I really appreciated her patience and the time spent. She tried helping me to the best way she can to make sure I was satisfied. Very good attitude. The store was fully stocked with merchandise. It seems like most of their items caters to cats and dogs. So all you dog owners and kitty lovers can come here for their pet's needs. Their fish tanks also looks clean with lots of happy fish. I guess good equipment maintenance leads to a better outcome of happy Nemos! This place can be five stars for good service and cleanliness. Just came in to return some items that didn't fit my puppies. As I was walking up, there are approximately 6 parking spots reserved for pick-up. Well that wasn't the case, there were cars parked there but no one inside the car waiting for their pick-up. Why have these spots when it's not even followed? At the register to return my items, everything goes smoothly until I ask the young lady (name starts with Ja) what the difference is between Visa Debit and US Debit. Her response is "oh there is a difference, I don't know". Due to the wait of her response, the transaction got cancelled and says "oh you picked the wrong one". Came here on a Friday to get some food for my pet reptile and was helped by a wonderful associate in the back near the reptile/aquarium section. Didn't catch a name but he's tall and skinny with glasses. He was awesome! He answered any questions I had patiently and he definitely knew his stuff! The one star goes to Andrew, the guy who helped me check out. He recommended I make an account with PetSmart and after I refused, he said and I quote," ok then don't expect any discounts or coupons and even with a receipt, no one will help you out." I had to come back 3 times to exchange them and the final time, they told us that they had inspected it and it was all good to go. We decided to do a deeper inspection in store and there were cracks on the side and on the bottom. Since they only had 3 in store, all with cracks, we ultimately had to get refunded. The service from the managers were not nice. The new girl who helped us out was cheery but that's it. DO NOT PURCHASE THE 20 GALLON TOP FIN TANKS IN CASE THEY PUT THEM BACK ON SHELVES. Writing this purely to thank and recommend Josh for his thorough help. Thought I'd be in and out with a dog shaver, but I didn't really know what I was looking for. Josh looked at pictures of my dogs and asked me how often I'd use it. He recommended the most cost efficient shaver and even took the time to show us how to remove the attachments in the dog groomer's room. I've brought in my 9 lb Maltese in 3 times now. He gets groomed by Jessica every time. She lets me know upfront what she needs to do and works with me to get what I want. My dog has never come out injured, unlike many other places I've tried. It's a bit pricey, but it's a large chain. The price is actually cheaper that the PetCo I've been to. Even so, Jessica tried to help work around the set packages to customize a cheaper package/price. Only reason this is a 4 instead of 5 star is that his haircut on two areas came out really uneven. Once on his legs (which in her defense, she let me know would happen before she even started because it was really matted and I didn't want to shave him), but I expected like a fade. It came out super choppy and not so pretty. The other area is his face. As a Maltese, his hair grows long enough to start blocking his vision. I don't want to shave him, so she styles his muzzle a bit fluffy, but one side is always longer than the other. Once, she didn't cut low enough so his hair stuck up and still blocked a bit of his vision. That being said, she offers to redo it. She even told my bro that I could bring my dog back the next day if I wasn't satisfied. Jessica is awesome! read more

You see I purchased a lot of toys about $200 for my canine daughter because she had been sick for a while and that would cheer her up. She didn't want the toys anymore she was too sick to play. A week after my purchase she passed away I was distraught it's been a month since but I just started to recuperate from my lost. So I decided to return the brand new packaged toys. I went to the store and I dealt with the most heartless man his name Mike the manager who rejected my return because they were seasonal. He didn't care what I had to say and left me talking. They do not stand behind their return policy. We purchased 3 bags of the snacks for our puppy 2 months ago, after we fed to our puppy, he keep throwing up and we need to went to the vet. So, we trying to return the remaining unopened bag back to the store, according to the pet smart return policy, we can get the in store credit if we cannot provide the receipt. However, the staff said we cannot return those 2 packages since we cannot provide any receipt, and we ask for the manager. And she stated she cannot do anything and ask us to contact the pet smart customer service numbers without provide any help or solution. We went to this pet smart because we were in the area for something else. We normally don't go to any PetSmart stores because the poor quality of food. We went for a dewormer. I was in the restroom when an employee helped my boyfriend with the the deworming products. She highly encouraged him Not to give our dog the medication if we did not see any worms, so we didn't buy the product and so now our puppy does have long round worms. We dewormed him as soon as we saw the one worm. Vet says he needs more meds, still more worms! We could've avoided this if my boyfriend didn't listen to that pet smart employee! At the time we didn't see worms, but we don't have microscopic sight! There were probably tiny eggs that we couldn't see. I don't recommend anyone taking advice from these employees, always get a second opinion. My boyfriend never listens to me. We had a big argument in the car after we left pet smart because I knew we should've bought the dewormer that day! You just never know. read more
