From the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted with friendliness and care. This was by far the best experience at a dentist's office I have ever had! We talked, laughed and laid out a dental plan for me. I've been to the office several times over the last few months getting several things repaired, both needed and proactive repairs. I love the fact they the staff looks forward before a problem occurs. Great chair side manner from both the hygienist and doctor. I plan on being here for at least 20 years also!

The dentist and doctor were both very mental health informed & didn't make me feel judged for having not been to a dentist in years. Really love seeing more women in the field (it's so rare to have a woman doc :( ). They were both very knowledgable and we discussed lots of options for my teeth going forward--I learned more than I have here about my teeth than other docs in the area. The dentist only looked at it and said it needed a crown. I told him I couldn't afford a crown and requested extraction. He refused and said it is a healthy tooth. They offered a payment plan for the crown but the thing dentists won't always tell you is that you might also need a root canal, which I also cannot afford. He offered to put a little filling in the area temporarily (for $125) until I could get a crown, I asked if he was going to remove the rest of the old filling and he said no. I told him I need to shop around for some quotes, he said you can but it will just cost more money. So, since he refused to extract it I had to leave with my broken tooth. I found the county dental clinic down the road. Their dentist actually did a more thorough exam and said if I wanted to try and save the tooth it needs a root canal first before the crown because there might be an infection, which is good to know, but they could also extract the tooth if l wanted to. She told me about the dental school nearby and we decided on a filling in the tooth for now, AND she removed the old filling, also way cheaper to have this done here. She took better care of me than this dentist did. I wasn't forced to get a crown and she did a proper filling and replacement, which means I might not need a root canal or crown if I'm careful with this side of my mouth, but time will tell because it may still need a root canal. I was told dentists don't want to pull a healthy tooth for lawsuit reasons, but this tooth needs a root canal and can be extracted so I feel like I was being taken advantage of and was offered sub-par care, being offered a filling and leaving the old broken filling behind. If he had put a crown on it and then needed a root canal they would have to drill through it or remove it, and if I couldn't afford the root canal it would it would have been $700 down the hole and no tooth. Also not sure why my tooth broke right after the extraction next to it, maybe he cracked/broke it when pulling the other? I want my money back for wasting my time there.

I had to sign documents on a pad without seeing the screen. Sure they told me verbally & provided a clipboard with the document, but I wanted to see the actual screen to ensure I was indeed signing the right thing. When I told the lady this she seemed slightly annoyed but she did share her screen with me. I just had a previous experience where I was listening to someone read the document while I signed and they withheld certain info that cost me $4000. Very hard lesson to learn. My last cleaning they got water all over my face and chest while doing the cleaning and it seemed like the assistant was a nervous wreck working with the dentist. They left me in the chair twice while not telling me they were stepping out or why. I think they were leaving to take care of other patients during my visit. I never needed two people to do a teeth cleaning in the past. That was strange. Staffing might be a problem since the provider was unavailable for two of my appointments this year. Maybe that says it all, but I'll keep going…read more He is friendly, sensitive to any fears or pain you may have, and extremely skilled with the needle and drill. I can't remember ever experiencing pain from any procedures he's done on my teeth. The equipment is modern. The office is groovy. If you're having a long procedure, you can watch a movie with their movie goggles. The hygienists are very good, and VERY KID FRIENDLY. (Any kid who's afraid of the dentist will love Vonda. She's a goofball but gets the job done.) His whole staff is personable yet professional, and a few have been with him for as long as he's been my dentist. That says a lot about him as an employer. The office is just off NW 23rd (on Flanders), but it has a parking lot, which helps in that neighborhood. If you're looking for a new dentist, you can't go wrong with Dr. Wiley.
