I have had PFS maintaining my pool for 12 years now. Today they saved the day for my family and I. My daughter had invited 24 of her friends for a pool and spa party and much to my shock and dismay the sta-rite max e therm 333 pool heater showed the E05 error within minutes of starting. Multiple tries and the same error. Google search says most likely the stack flue sensor needed replacement. We are 6 hours from guests showing up and we are in panic mode. I reach out to 10 other pool companies on Yelp including the one recommended by my home warranty company and none of them were able to come by on the weekend to fix the heater. I reach out to Andrea at PFS office via text and within 20 mins she sets the ball rolling to get their super courteous and knowledgeable technician Diego to come over with the replacement part. He explains the whole diagnostic process and systematically goes about replacing the flue sensor. After he is done, he thoroughly tests both the spa and pool heating. And it works fine! Saved the day and the party for my daughter and her 24 friends!! Good value for the weekend service charge. read more

I've been using PFS for about 16 years and have been very happy with the service they provide. If there is an issues or additional care required, a quick text to Andrea is all it takes to get is addressed quickly. I recently had them upgrade my lighting to the newest Pentair lights and they look fantastic. During the process, Wayne took the time to research options and provided me with all the details so I could make an informed decision. There was no pressure at all, just information. I have worked with PFS Pool for almost 3 years. I have worked with both Rudy and Andrea. They have been responsive and helpful in diagnosing or correcting any issues with my pool. My pool is serviced weekly, and any problems or concerns are flagged automatically. Before any repair work is done, Andrea will email me to explain what is wrong, and how much it will cost to repair. We have been using this service for awhile and did not have an issue. However, when we had issue about the billing and the service that was provided, everything went downhill. I called the office to speak to the manager named John who was very rude and yelling at me to calm down, when in fact he was the one who was angry. I tried explaining the situation to him that my pool is salt water only, and his employees were using chlorine in my pool. He said that he knew about it and switched around the things without my knowledge. When I asked him, why he didn't just ask me a question or inform me of what was going on, he rudely said to me "I don't have time for this." Then, I asked why he didn't have time for this and he started yelling at me on the phone. I tried getting a word in but he was too angry at the moment to listen and yet he was telling me to calm down???? I think he needs to be the one to go for yoga and calm down. Or if he's just too unhappy working there then he should quit his job because he has no customer service skills. I wish I could give him zero stars, because he doesn't even deserve one star! read more

He was angry and threatening about a note I had included with our bill payment criticizing PFS for not billing us timely, and before I could say anything or hang up, which I did, said, " If I ever see you in public, I'll..." John is one of the owners and is absolutely the rudest man I've ever met. He was in my backyard yelling and screaming at me and told me to get the f... k out of his face and go inside. This is now the third time he has just walked in the backyard to fix something without even announcing himself and then is angry because he has to actually work. He has left old used filters in a box and hasn't taken them away even though I asked him to. He always has an attitude. Last time I looked I was the customer. I'm reporting him to the contractor board as well. His contractor license is under CII Pool Service Inc but they represent themselves under PSF Pools. Contractor license #971851. Don't use either company if you're expecting to be treated as a customer or with any respect what so ever. John is extremely arrogant and seems to have a problem dealing with women as well. I will never do business with any of his companies again. He may be cheaper but think twice before hiring him for anything. read more

Do not use them for pool inspections. They did an inspection for my pool for a home purchase that completely ignored a heater that was visibly rusty and non-functioning. His failure to catch this will cost me $3,000 to replace the heating system. read more
