Red flags were written all over the place but we are just realizing them. So red flag no 1. We purchased an 125 Year Anniversary edition C3 Miele vacuum that were were very excited about. The owner was selling it for 699.99. Without realizing it , he was selling it for $50.00 more dollars from the MRSP of 649.99 on Mieles site (no sale keep in mind) However, after some negotiating, we were able to bring down the price by 25 bucks. We didn't realize this until we got home but I didn't mind, we payed a little more than 25 more from the MRSP and this was a local business so whatever. Unfortunately with this unit ; it was turning off at random times after 3 weeks of purchase. We checked the hose , filters etc etc. Nada . We didn't think a warranty swap was okay after such a short time with the machine. Technology fails which is understandable. So we called Vacuum Center right away and they said we could upgrade or outweigh other options. We decided to upgrade to the top of the tier (almost 1k more, a C3 Brilliant) since it was "on sale" for $100.00 less of the MRSP. Advertised as new and everything. We were able to get the price down to $150 less. What a great deal , right ? Well, when I see the box taken from the back , it looked a little off and used but I'm not going to question anyone (I should have). As you can see in these pictures , this is what I opened up after hauling an Uber to get this machine replaced. A machine with dog hair, ketchup stains and a damaged box. I immediately called them to inform them and the dude working the cashier acted brand new. HE KNEW this was a used item. At this point , I've had enough and just wanted all my money back and do business elsewhere where. They offered options but by the time I spent over 50 bucks in transportation and feeling weird about the whole transaction, I wanted nothing to do with them. Here's the KICKER. They charged me a 20% restocking fee for the original vacuum. I get there are policies in place but you just made me go though hell to be given a defective item and the second time around , a USED item. I had to Uber back with this used vacuum to get it returned . I asked if they had another Brilliant and they of course didn't. They said they can ship one out but no thanks. Don't try to put lipstick on a pig. Why would I want to do do business with them ? Oh and the high end Miele Brilliant is 100 less because it's freaking used!!!! Terrible experience and I suggest you look elsewhere. They are all smiles until you start unmasking some pretty disgusting business practices

Now that I want to execute the dishwasher removal portion of my contract they are giving me the run around and saying they will not come to pick up my old dishwasher. I am in the process of selling a home and now have a dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen. Be careful with this business. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and will also be filing a police report to take them to small claims court.

I would think that you would be able to give me someone who to contact for this assistance. You could tell when he answered the phone he just did not want to be bothered. I understand you are not capable of set up. I got that. But if I purchase the product, you should have info about said product.

In particular, I appreciated receiving notice of damage to one of the machines before delivery. Now Appliance reordered the machine from the manufacturer and is prepared to deliver and install when in stock for no extra charge. The salesman, Chris, was responsive both by phone and email. He was very helpful in selecting the appliances that fit our budget. If I had my wish, the online catalog would be easier to navigate as it has no search/filter feature.

Making the replacement is a relatively small job and I was concerned that it would be a hassle to find a skilled professional willing to do it. I phoned Chesapeake and asked them if they do small jobs. I was told that they don't except for former customers. "We stand by our customers" I was told. In a matter of days the new microwave was installed. We are very happy with the installation. In addition to being highly competent, Fernando and his staff are very pleasant and easy to deal with professionals. In my experience, the service provided by Chesapeake Kitchen Design is about as good as it gets.

On two separate occasions, I was given a four-hour service window and received messages during that window indicating that a technician was on the way. However, no technician arrived. When I called for an update, I was informed that the appointment had been moved to the following day. This happened twice, without any advance notice before I reached out. I understand that delays and scheduling changes can occur, but it's disappointing to set aside several hours waiting for a service call only to learn afterward that the appointment has been rescheduled. Better communication and more accurate scheduling would greatly improve the customer experience.

Their workers showed up when they were supposed to and did a great job on the bathroom. The only reason I give a four instead of a five is they missed some caulking and grouting in some hard to reach places, but it's not noticeable and not worth the time to call them back in. In only three days we had a brand new bathroom at the price that was quoted to us with no fuss or change orders.
