This place sucks. Their hours online are not accurate and they closed earlier than expected. I showed up with a credit card to pay and wasn't able to because "they already shut the computer down" for closing. The woman TOLD ME to come back the next day, on Saturday. Although they were closed she said she would come in so I can pick up my dressform. SHE NEVER SHOWED UP despite telling her I lived an hour away. I believe this company is entirely out of business or fraudulent. So I hope you will never buy anything from them. After paying Industry grade full body dress form $765.41 with a credit card through the company's website, I went to its factory to pick it up directly. But no one was here. I even had a reservation with them from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 4/5/2022, and visited them at the right time, but no one showed up. As you know, I visited them during their official business hour with an appointment with them. Not a single car was parked. I rang the bell, called, knocked on the door, and spent the day, but no one showed up. I reported them to my credit card company. By far the worst dress forms ever. I really miss Wolf, wish they had not closed shop. PGM is pure and simple crap. You can't even pin into them, and the forms with legs are unsteady and fall over quite easily. Had one smash me in the back not long ago. They're just plastic crap. Wolf dress forms and Superior dress forms are so much better, I have a few of them and would never ever sell them....the shitty PGM form though, I would sell at a low bargain dollar just to get rid of it. I've been looking to get a new dress form for awhile since my cheap adjustable-dial form just isn't going to cut it when draping my wedding gown. Thank goodness for PGM! I didn't realize how close their showroom was to my work office so I was very excited to find out I could just stop in and pick it up myself rather than paying to have it shipped. Victor was extremely helpful in my purchase of the #601 Women's form- quick to reply to e-mails and very friendly throughout the entire process. PGM gives different deals/promotions on their twitter page and through Yelp, so make sure you look beforehand to get the best prices if you're not a student (I got 20% off my purchase just for "checking in"!!!) I definitely recommend spending the extra money on a quality PGM form rather than using a generic craft-store kind. Super excited to use mine!!!! read more

PGM Dress Form is the best I've used so far - those adjustable forms just don't work for me! Prices are attractive, and if you are a student, you get 20% student discount - so take advantage of that! Once in awhile, they would offer Free Shipping and Free Pattern Making tools, so be sure to check. It's usually during holiday season though! Do Not buy dress forms from PGM Dress Forms they are inferior to other brands. In one year the form has had issues becoming unscrewed and falling off stand when I turn it. I contacted them and they basically told me there was nothing they could do other than follow the instructions they emailed me. If I tighten the bolt as noted by them it should be fine, but then I cannot turn form. If I turn little by little the form loosens at the top and falls off. It has fallen off many times and still cannot get it right. Not worth the money which I paid $760.00 for getting the one that was not on sale and had warranty. My form was only less than one year old when this started and it is still a problem. I went to my account online and they wiped my order off the history. From the outside it looks small and not too big. From my imagination i thought it was going to be bigger but there isnt really anything to show but dress form maniquins. When i walked inside i spotted some maniquins made out of linen and have a design painted on it such as marylin and elvis and etc. Famous people. I liked how they went creative with it. I also find it unique and different, but then when you find out how much it costs my jaws dropped. The full body with painted design is about 1000 and up. But the good thing is if you check in you get 320 for 399 worth of stuff. Also they do have lots of different dress form maniquins to choose from and colors. Some are linen but dyed to a color or pattern. They also have just steel forms as well. I tend to like the linen better. They had great service and had helped packed it. They were just a bit slower with ringing up items when you purchase inside. And took a bit for printing the recipt out. They are usually use to online orders more often as they said. Come back during x mas time for the special deals in store or you can go online and take advantage of the deal as well. Finding a dress form vendor is very hard and tedious. Luckily Communication is no barrier with PGM. I'm in NYC and found this place online and decided to give them a call located in LA. Usually I wait for machines and other barriers when contacting places, but not PGM. I spoke with the lovely Rebecca and she took care of my order on the spot, answered all my questions via email with charts. Delivery within days of placing the order. PGM is the best in the industry. I recently purchased a form from them for my company because, out of the dozens of dress form manufactures in Los Angeles, they were the only ones that carried a particular size to the juniors market. And I was not disappointed on how hasty they were to get it to me and with its unique quality. Overall, PGM offers multiple options, especially when it comes to the standard sizes of their dress forms- they actually understand the difference between a juniors, missy, young mens, and men's build. They also offer an affordable array of pattern drafting tools that I find to be difficult to find and to be to costly from other manufactures. And they even offer a student discount, which is amazing! My only wish for PGM, is that they invested in manufacturing and selling a good quality, but not too costly, dot/drafting paper. They make getting a hold of all my pattern drafting needs easy except for this particular thing. I would really like to bring them more business, considering I buy dot paper like I do toilet paper. read more

I think PGM is a great place, extremely pleased with the results. I called in advance, and then drove out to the warehouse last weekend (they are infrequently open on Sat's - so was lucky). Andrea, Rebecca, and the owners were extremely helpful. In the end, I bought a full body (collapsible shoulders) dress form, and a half scale dress form; it all fit into my SUV :) I'm extremely pleased with the purchase/enjoying using them. When I bought the dress they reply my emails so fast, but when I got the dress it wasn't the same as the picture and was less than a week for my wedding, so I had to buy it another one - more money. I send them an email trying to return because I didn't receive a dress like the picture and they took so long to respond and didn't return my money.
