Naaaaah. Went to try it bc it looked so good from photos but it's just not, unfortunately. First the good: The employees were very sweet, the inside is well decorated for a little strip mall location, the prices were great and the choices were enough to have variety without being overwhelming. We really wanted to like it. The kinda bad: My husband and I both ordered two option plates. I ordered half chow mein, half glass noodles with fish sauce wings and pork. They were out of both glass noodles and the wings. My husband ordered a beef skewer, pork with half chow mein half fried rice and they were out of fried rice... they were out of fried rice. They have signs everywhere saying they won't be using their steam trays anymore and cooking everything to order now so it was a little confusing to not have something like fried rice cooked to order? But, oh well, we subbed it all out and moved on. The noodles were ok but fairly bland and hardly had any veggies. It was just a bunch of noodles and some were crunchy and dried out. The pork was very good and the tofu that I got instead of wings was decent. My husband enjoyed his beef and pork but agreed the noodles were entirely bland. Our friend got the roasted pork banh mi and said it was just ok but fairly dry and a little bland. He did say the veggie egg rolls were really good, though. The really bad: I tossed on some shrimp spring rolls while I was ordering and they took a pack that had been sitting on the counter in Saran wrap the entire time I'd been in the restaurant and put it in my bag. No refrigeration, not on ice. Just totally room temperature shrimp spring rolls that had been sitting out on display. When I got back to my car I checked them to make sure they hadn't been chilled immediately before I got there or something and they were all entirely warm. I have no idea how long those were sitting out on a counter (inside a restaurant that was pretty warm) but that's absolutely a health code violation. I had assumed they were a display item when I first saw them and was shocked they actually served them to somebody. I didn't eat them. EDITING TO ADD BC OF OWNER REPLY: because I am not a food service worker and was not positive on the rules of having food left out, I did look for some sort of marking on the package to see when they had been prepared. I know food can safely be left at room temp for 2-4 hours so I checked the package to see if there was a time written when I pulled it out of the bag and I could not find one. Upon looking into this further I discovered that the health department has educated them on this exact practice several times. They have received violations for leaving food at unsafe temperatures in the past. All food places will be out of compliance at some point and they still have an A rating so take that for what you will, but it still remains concerning. The really bad: my friend who ordered the sandwich and egg rolls ended up violently ill a few hours after we ate. So I guess that's sort of the nail in the coffin that we won't be back. read more

Looking for some quick Vietnamese to bring home, I had seen this new spot pop up near me. The offerings looked promising so I gave it a try. The service was friendly. The atmosphere I will disregard as this is definitely built for delivery apps and takeout. I got the pork sausage spring rolls and the bun thit nuong. Interestingly, it was already prepackaged and ready to go. The food was all still fresh and made day of so I didn't mind. The spring rolls were great with a good mix of crunch from the greens and the egg roll skin hidden in the middle. It paired nicely with the provided savory peanut sauce. The bun thit nuong was so plentiful and could easy feed a party of 2. Very delicious and rivals any from a typical Vietnamese restaurant. I have been searching for a banh mi as good as the one at Hiep Thanh in San Bernardino and I found it! Their tofu banh mi is amazing. The roll is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Tons of the pickled carrots and daikon, and just enough jalapeno. The tofu was marinated in garlic. So delicious. The girl who took my order was so friendly. Frankly, the inside of the restaurant isn't much to look at, and they only have 3 tables. I would consider this to be a great place for take out. They also have pretty good Vietnamese iced coffee. It's quite strong. I will definitely be back to try some other dishes, and of course get another banh mi! Great find in Redlands! read more

Ok... first there is no authentic real Vietnamese food around, I don't feel like driving to San Bernardino to the Asian supermarket or to Loma Linda for pho ha when it's down the street from my house. I got the salt Coffee which was Amazing. Beef pho for my wife. Meat ball banh mi for myself... and it taste just like how my grandmother used to make for me when I was younger. My family wanted to try this place on their way home from shopping. We love Vietnamese food, but we have mixed reviews about the food we ordered. Not pictured was the sandwich that my son ordered. He loved it so much that it was devoured before we even got home. Plus, he loved the Vietnamese coffee which was strong enough to his liking. As for the lemongrass chicken meal, my husband wasn't too impressed because he's had this dish from other restaurants and they shredded their chicken into mouth size portions to eat, while their chicken meat was on the bone. As for taste, this wasn't the best that he had before. He wouldn't order this again. I ate the beef stew side dish. Most of the meat was fat. Some people enjoy eating the fatty parts of beef stew, but I'm not particularly fond of it. My son ended up eating the rest. Their service was fast because we ordered our meals to go.
