Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm; Sunday closed. Business is located outside of Straub Medical Center bldg. If you are coming out hospital entrance, it will be on your right pass Optical. I gave employee my ID, my parent's ID, and prescription. She said that it will be ready in 20 minutes and gave a number. There is a big number board or on left of pharmacy window.

We returned a call from Pharmacare 840-5600. The receptionist was impatient and rude.

Very slow. How long does it take to count out 20 pills? Apparently more than 30 minutes.

I messaged the pharmacy and they confirmed that their Nu'uanu location will continue to be open, though only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Their Waipahu location has free shipping and delivery (tip is recommended for delivery) but I haven't used those services yet. I would just drive to the Ala Moana location because it's not too far, plus it's a good excuse to stop by Mari's Urban Garden haha. Free parking in the structure (ask the pharmacist to validate for you) and the service is always friendly, quick, and helpful. They use RxLocal, which is an online portal and mobile app that you can use to check pharmacy hours, message with the pharmacy, refill your prescriptions, and set medication reminders. I had so many horrible experiences with CVS/Walgreens on the mainland and eventually switched to a small, family-owned pharmacy and the experience was night and day. I knew that when I moved back home to Hawai'i, I wanted to continue to use a small, local pharmacy. I was glad to find 5 Minute Pharmacy and have been very satisfied with their service, especially as someone that takes various controlled medications and has a generally more complicated process with refills and prior authorizations.

Let me tell you the reasons! Mostly because they respect doctors and don't make it hard to get what my doctor prescribed. They stay current on laws and are knowledgeable. They are FAST! Maybe not literally 5 mins, but pretty close most of the time. They'll even deliver! The waiting area has comfy seats. The people that work there are so nice. You can tell they care. Parking isn't a hassle. The parking garage is free so you don't have to battle for street parking. If you do park on the street, keep your eye on your meter, because the cops give tickets out all the time. I see parking enforcement nearly everytime I'm there.

Convenient location…read more.. As my car is not feeling the greatest I needed a location that was closest to the Queens Island Urgent Care in Kaka'ako to pick up a prescription and since this was right down the street I keep the stress level down for myself as well. Located prominently on Ward Ave parking entrance is on Halekauwila Street which is free and with lots of covered stalls available that has an elevator that will take you down and directly into the store. With this being the newly opened location it's very nice and clean and not as crazy crowded like the malls is nice and with basically no lines it was an easy pick up and the staff is very nice and friendly as I arrived basically right after my check up knowing it wouldn't be ready that fast was actually being worked on which is so nice as having them will give me great comfort and that's I'm so grateful. Thank you!

You go up the ramp, park on the second floor and take the elevator down. Once you step of the elevator you're already in the store. I saw a lot of Hello Kitty items this time around. They also carry my face mask that I didn't see at any other Long's. Their cosmetics and body care line is huge at this store. If you're into that you'll love this place. They have a photo department that does passport photos also. I came by and picked up a Pokemon card and Haagen-Dazs ice cream for someone.

Just be aware that it's possible you maybe asked for funds. However, the inside is clean and almost sterile. I like that they have frozen treats from other countries at pretty reasonable prices. The back aisles have a number of different medical supplies to stock your cabinets. Toiletries and sundry items line the shelves but...keep in mind most are locked up. However, staff are nice and friendly which is a reason to stop by again. Prices are fair.

It's a little smaller than Walgreens I've seen, but I only needed one thing. I broke the armrest of my mom's transport chair, and it was pretty old. Why not get a new one? No greeting which was alright since it's a drugstore, but I got a friendly nod from security. But I walked over near the pharmacy, and then just looked down an aisle, and there it was. The last one, only one, maybe they just put out one at a time. Brought it up to the counter, and the clerk was friendly. After coming out, I didn't realize there was a Petco. No wonder the Walgreens was small. It's a good store to come to.

Then you wait for your name to be called. They take you into a room and give you the shot. I suggest you getting into your dominant arm so as to reduce the chances of feeling any pain. Every time I walk inside, there's a strong, unpleasant odor that smells like sewage or fecal matter. It's consistent enough that it doesn't feel like a one-off issue--it's something you notice immediately when you enter the store. At times it seems stronger in certain areas, which makes me wonder if it's coming from plumbing, floor drains, or possibly even outside air getting pulled in. What's frustrating is that this location used to feel like one of the better-run stores on the island. Now, the overall impression is very different. Even if the shelves are stocked and the staff is doing their job, the environment itself really affects the experience of shopping there. What stands out is the comparison with nearby stores like Safeway, which don't seem to have the same issue, even though they serve the same general area. That contrast makes the problem at this location even more noticeable. I hope management takes a serious look at it, because this doesn't feel like a minor cleanliness issue--it feels like an infrastructure or maintenance problem that's been left unresolved for too long. It's a shame, because the store has a lot of potential and used to be a go-to spot.

This particular visit I saw a security guard and male in an altercation, so I scooted away as fast as I could. Once I got there I noticed how busy they were but there weren't many people in line - until I looked down one of the aisles and saw a very long line. About a half hour later I reached the window and asked if the long lines were "normal". Since all the other Longs in the downtown area had closed, including the one at Ward Avenue, they were IT!! I sure hope these hard-woking folks, who are on their feet for hours, are WELL-PAID because they DESERVE IT!!
