WARNING: SCAM ALERT I was tempted by a great entry level offer to experience a PHARMACIOPY treatment, and since I like to discover new places, and Seal Beach wasn't too far, I decided to give it a try. This was mid January 2024. The location was super cute, the staff were really friendly and attentive and by the end, since one treatment wouldn't do anything much, decided to buy the treatment package offered at a discount for signing on that day. It was not mentioned that the special wasn't refundable. I had my doubts about making it to Seal Beach six times within a year, and said so, but got super sold by the charming, friendly team. I did not check the small print -- that this was a non refundable commitment. Two weeks went by and I decided to call to book the second treatment. No response, and so I left a VM. I called again a bit later, no pick up, no call back. A few days went by, same thing. There was no way to book an appointment without contact with a human at the location. Now I was suspicious. I'm a business owner. You do not create a successful business by not returning calls, replying to messages or offering any explanation. So within another week, I called my credit card company to refund the purchase. I was so sour on whole thing by now, in addition to the inconvenient travel time that if all had gone well, I probably would have dealt with. My Credit card company issued a refund. I guess within the month, PHARMIOCOPY replied with a copy of my contract, which showed that the purchase was non refundable. My Credit card company honored the charge, even though I had kept calling and I was defending myself by saying, why could they respond with a copy of their receipt, but not find the time or trouble to respond to me or pick up the phone? Today... finally, three months later, someone picked up the phone. She knew who I was, that I had requested and gotten a refund. She knew that they had gotten my charge returned to them. (By the way; by now I had Googled them and found a ton of horrible customer experiences all over North America. I had no idea that they did this all over Canada and the USA.) I said what was this the first time in over 90 days that they had replied. She said that they did, April 9th and that I didn't pick up -- that it wasn't their responsibility if I didn't pick up their call. (Not true. My phone log shows no missed call.) They said they could give me one third of the price as a refund. I said no, that I had talked to my lawyer and would sue them. She said she would call me back to ask management for a higher amount by the end of the day. I never got that call. read more

Please steer clear of this place unless you wanna be ripped off. I fell for the $49 facial that promises a tight neck and jowels and none of this took place. Instead, I stupidly fell for the male managers suggestion that my overall skin was in poor healthy (which it's not) and purchased a package of 2 facials for $600! Thats insane. I worked with a woman by the name of Hannah for 2 treatments a random third person despite being told "you have to work with Hannah bc she's the best". Each treatment felt random, unplanned and not specific. Each treatment felt like a variety of random devices were being used but nothing was actually being targeted. I was forced to sit through a sales pitch after each facial to buy a mini device or ridiculous cream. $650 dollars later and only 3 treatments later my skin is still sagging and I have the same lines and my neck is not tight at all. Here is my reason for rating this business a one-star. All they care about is your money. NOT YOU! All their smiles are for show. Its not real or genuine. All their offerings of beverages and wines are a pretentious front to get a hold of your money. I went in for a special promotion that cost $50 for a one-hour facial treatment. As soon as the hour was up, a lady was waiting, THINKING in their mind that I was going to cough up damn near $6K for their services and products! But little did these fools know I was playing them stupid GOING ALONG WITH THEIR GAME. I will not be returning. A lot of these businesses are desperate and will do anything and say anything to get you to open your wallet. The owner is a piece of work himself; with his ROLAX wearing A$$ watch, he came over and sat next to me to help me get financed. It's ridiculous! read more

The products used here do not seem medical grade and honestly, most of the faculty seemed uneducated about the products, especially the scientific basis to how they work and why. The pricing for subscriptions were absurd. And the place was not as alluring as the marketing made it seem. read more

Went here for the advertised facial special. I'm an aesthetician by trade, but it's hard to deep clean your own skin. I loved the tightening facial my skin was so clean and shiny all week. Yes they do talk to you about packages for facials so in this deal your paying about $200.00 a facial that's about the going rate. They use up to date red light therapy and others. They treated me very nice. I did purchase one of the packages that included 6 facials - I like that you can pick your own and use anytime NO restrictions. I loved the place and hope they cont to treat me nice on every visit. read more

Saw add on IG for $55 facial booked immediately. If you are curious about their products this may be is for you, but be aware it is a sales pitch promoting their products which they discuss during your "facial". As you exit the room they sit you down to close the deal. I declined. I basically paid for an advertisement. Facials are suppose to be relaxing and leave your skin rejuvenated. I gave three stars because staff is kind otherwise it would be 1 star. read more

I ended up getting the pearl package and will be back to see Marcia every month. I'm so excited to have found this place, everyone is so friendly. The worst service and business. I arrive for my appt after confirming via text and several other text stating, don't be late..... I get told they are running behind. 1 hour and 15 mins or more..... seriously. But I did not get a text notifying me about this delay. The girl said I called but she didn't even leave a VM. Went for the $49=$55 total facial advertised on Facebook. Nice place. They save certain furniture in the waiting area for "special clients". What constitutes a Special Client? They told me I have skin that is 11 years older than my age. The lady that did the facial was very sweet. She explained everything as she did it. Very comfortable & relaxing. Here's the kicker. Afterwards the head lady makes you sit in a corner chair, brings you a water, literally corners you and breaks out the menu. $700 is the least expensive package they want you to purchase. Going up to $2,300. On the "Cherry Plan" lol...you can pay $170 a month. Then they want you to "INVEST" in their facial gadget priced at $11,000. Yes. 11k. Uh-ummmm. I got the same tool from Gadget Gallery.com for $49. It's worth it for the one time Facebook advertised price. My skin feels really clean. Deep clean! Very nice! Just once you tell them the $700 a month package isnt within your budget at the moment...they ignore you as if you are invisible and shoo you off to go pay. read more

I stopped by to research a Red Light LED skin device. It was listed at $11,000 which was TOO much. The assistant tried very hard to sound scientific and knowledgeable but she knew buzz words only.
