The Naks in Pearl City... Just right beside the Don Quijote food court is a cute place called Naks Cafe as this cozy spot offers quite the extensive menu from pasta, sandwiches and various plates though it all sounds amazing the prices were quite up there as well knowing that times are tough I couldn't see myself having French toast bites for $16.85 but badly need to refuel after a long day of errands. Seeing that they had soup of the day sounded very comforting and it was Japanese Corn Soup sounded perfect it was that along with a cup of Apple Mint Mojito sounded like the perfect combo strange as it may sound but I did enjoy it. The staff was very friendly as they brought out my items to me as I waited outside at the food court not just as it's a tiny place but no air-condition at all as it was very hot and humid in there was quite concerning and hope they have a fan or something to keep them cool which the drink certainly did that for me and I really enjoyed this refreshing sip. As for the soup it was very nice and hot and had a nice light flavor it just tasted like the instant soup I get from the store it wasn't like the corn was fresh especially since it claims to be house-made I was slightly disappointed but did come with two little pieces of garlic bread which did elevate it more still couldn't save my disappointment considering it was $9.85 over $17 with my drink, it gave me the much needed comfort as I just wanted some hot soup which I was so happy to find in the convenience right beside Don Quijote food court. This little shop is tucked away next to the Donki okazuya/food court. They have a pretty diverse menu and I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I ordered the prime rib avocado pesto sandwich and it was so flavorful and the meat was super tender. Would 100% get that again. Your can upgrade to get fries instead of a salad for a charge. The fries were fresh and had a seasoning on it but you couldn't really taste the seasoning at all. I also got the strawberry matcha latte and substituted oat milk (for a fee). It was okay but the matcha to milk ratio wasn't quite right. Service was great especially with it being so busy. Got the prime rib dip sando. Tasty sandwich, but feeling undersold by the looks of other people's pictures. It was midday Monday, took ~20 minutes for my order. I asked the cashier for a sample of the chimichurri sauce..it was nice and tangy. If I find myself here again, I might try that sandwich, but kinda afraid to be underwhelmed. read more

I went in and ordered a wagyu burger then decided to kill a few minutes at Don Quijote. Went to put my groceries in the car and drove home. By the time I realized what I did and went back for it, it was about 2 hours. My grandson said it was still really good. The workers were so sweet and didn't laugh in my face. Haha! read more

I found myself in the area again, and I really needed some caffeine. Naks was open, and of course, I went into the wrong door! LOL! After entering, I didn't know what they also had to offer, I mean, I did see a picture of mushroom fettuccine, so why not have lunch too! Naks shares a dining room with some local food vendors. After I ordered, the friendly woman said she'd bring it out to me. I also ordered an iced latte which was very good! And then it came out! It was beautiful! It was delicious! It was gone!!! Some places, it's just swimming in sauce, this one has just the right amount. This is one of those hidden gems that is worth checking out, maybe before or after shopping at DQ or H-Mart. Cute little cafe with huge menu selections. Located right in front of Don Quijote Pearl City. Didn't know about this place. Just happens to see them while leaving H-mart. Decided to get drinks. I got caramel macchatio. There was no wait. Got my coffee in less than 5 minutes. Really disappointed in the drink. Didn't taste the caramel at all. Just strong coffee. A little pricey for small cup. I did look around at their menu. They have great selection of desserts that look delicious. Huge selection of foods items. Food look delicious. I will come back to try their foods. Seeing their price are pretty reasonable. And they have a few pasta dishes. read more

Today was my first time at Naks Cafe, and I highly recommend it. We ordered the grilled salmon, the veggie sando melt, the wagyu beef bowl, the strawberry donuts, limeade, and apple mint tea. Everything tasted so good. The grilled salmon has this rich creamy sauce, and we really appreciated that the worker put it on the side for us. The kids loved the salmon. We also enjoyed our veggie sando, and the worker was so nice to accommodate for us on what we wanted on it. The kids loved the donuts, and our drinks also tasted great. It's located inside the Don Quijote food hall, and you'll see it to your left when you first walk in. It feels like a cute hole in the wall place. The service was wonderful. Wish we took pictures of our food but we devoured everything. Will definitely come back to try other menu items. read more

I decided to give this place a try today after walking by many times. It's a cute little place tucked into the Don Quijote food court (there is an entrance outside that you can also use). The menu is quite large for such a small place and the offerings all sound really good. I decided to get the wagyu burger that came with a side salad and fries. I saw that they also had yuca fries, which I'd never tried before so asked if I could upgrade my regular fries for them, and they said yes, for $1 extra. The food was really good, the side salad comes with a yummy vinaigrette, the yuca fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle, and the cheeseburger was nice and juicy. The only down side to this place is that it's a little pricey. I will definitely go back to try other things. read more

Cute tiny takeout spot, connected to the food hall by Donki and H-Mart. I ordered the garlic shrimp and asked if they can peel the shrimp and they were happy to do it. Each shrimp was perfectly cared for. Each one had the perfect little char and they were not overcooked at all. You can tell they took the care of frying each shrimp perfectly instead of rushing the process. We are here for a month and plan to come back to try the prime rib. :) read more

Naks Cafe is a pleasant surprise! My husband asked me to check this new restaurant out after I shopped at Don Quixote. It is in the former Bale location. Restaurant is extremely clean and well-lit. Food is amazing! The Seafood Pomodoro, the Prime Rib and Avocado Pesto Sando, the NAKS French toast, and the spicy garlic and citrus ramen are all flavorful and super tasty. The ramen toppings and noodles are separated on a clever removable tray from the broth. The tiramisu was really yummy, but omg, the Berry Panna Cotta was creamy, just the right texture, perfect berry-flavored, and delectable! Not sweet at all. Will definitely be back again to try more items. Ai took my order, pleasantly answered all of my questions, then hurried to the back to assist in the kitchen. soo underrated! i was at don quijote and saw someone else walk out of here with a matcha. so of course, i got an iced strawb matcha latte - which was really good and not milky at all! i feel like it was similar to the one from cooke st market. i also got an argentina steak sando. it was so delicious! their other drinks and food looked so yummy... the lady that helped me out gave good suggestions and was super sweet. she made nice conversation while i was waiting for my items. it's a small but cute shop, connected to the food court area of don quijote. i will def be back soon! ^-^ read more

Tried Naks Cafe for the first time, ordered take out during our Kona Low storm, was very pleasantly surprised! Wagu ramen bowl spicy garlic packed some heat but it was yummy heat with the umami flavors. Prime rib plate had the "Best" scallop potatoes and salad dressing with the balsamic dressy was a 10! Prime rib had a nice char'd flavor and au jous had a great flavor, (wish the container was a little larger for a little more au jous. The variety pack of appetizers , waffle fries, celery, chicken tenders, mozzarella cheese sticks was a great start to our meal. Caesar salad greens was fresh and crisp, salad dressing needs a little help! Perfect dinner for a miserable rainy day! Brighten the evening! Great job! We will be back! read more

Decided to give this new place by PC Donkey a try (old Bale location). Had the grilled salmon with cream spinach sauce. It came with greens and a house dressing & scalloped potatoes.
